Saw these ADORABLE baby coyotes in a den built RIGHT under the hiking trail??? Kind of baffled by this choice by the parents, I hope people are respectful and leave them alone! 😭

Saw mom! She was so pretty, I love her notch-ear ❤️ (this one was definitely one of the parents, she was returning to the den).

We weren't lucky enough to see the babies today; we passed by on our way out and back as you normally would when hiking, but we didn't want to spend much longer near the actual den than you naturally would when walking along if you didn't know anything was there.

Also saw another coyote as we were leaving who *could* be dad? Though it could also be an unrelated individual, there are a looot of them in this area and it was far enough away that there's not necessarily a connection.

Good coyote-sighting day, regardless! Lots of cuties.

A couple of years ago I was tidying a rarely-tidied storage space, and found this painting that I bought long pre-transition (and then hid away, and eventually forgot about), because I had been captivated by the beauty of it, and wished dearly that it could be me, and settled for "in another life", and now, it's basically me (if I put my hair up):

We're gonna wrap all these trash/recycle receptacles in custom art; I had to do a test one to see if it was gonna be viable to muralize the sheet metal and not have the paint de-adhere when bent lol.

More to come soon! Though maybe some vinyl-printed digital art instead, not sure the paint will end up being the final way we go.
