Trying to do better meal prep but damn salads always get nasty by friday. No one wants rotting salad on friday. Solution so far has been using kale and lemon and it's been working so well! I've been eating out a lot for lunch lately which usually costs like $10-$12. I tell myself it's the same cost so I calculated it out today and these salads ran me $2.50 each. And this is at an expensive grocery store (metro) And included some pricey ingredients, Like a $6 squash and $5 sprouts. Good reminder to me to do prep on sundays and not be lazy. More concert money that way!

Woman says pricey vitamin bottle from Shoppers Drug Mart was filled with dried pasta - CityNews

A health-conscious mom and daughter say they purchased an expensive vitamin product at a Toronto Shoppers Drug Mart, only to find the bottle filled with dry penne pasta. Anna Bauer-Ross says she bought the bottle of Greens+ capsules on Tuesday from the Shoppers at Spadina Road and Dupont Street for a total of $50.81. When …

Bauer-Ross headed back to the Shoppers the next day with her receipt and says the manager offered a full refund, or exchange. She accepted an exchange under the condition that she could open the bottle in the store. When she did, she says it was also filled with pasta.

The flummoxed store manager then snatched a third bottle off the shelf and popped the cap, only to find more dried penne. A fourth bottle yielded a similar result.

My 5th trip to Kentucky, in July 2017. It was a short one, only 3 days, but we went to a bunch of places including Old Friends, Kentucky Horse Park, Darley, Claiborne Farm, Stonestreet Farm, Ashford Stud, Winstar Farm, and Keeneland Racetrack. 

Highlights include: War Emblem, Silver Charm, an amazing horse show with free wine, Orb and War Front, Street Sense and Bernardini, Bodemeister, Paynter, Pioneer of the Nile... and the best one... Rachel Alexandra. 

We’re planning to go again in January to see Chrome and Pharoah... :D
