Even when I read a book again after a long abscence, the characters shift and the meanings morph. I read my favorites over and over, and they still change, because I am sifting them through a different me. I am always surprised when people say they cannot reread their books.

I just learned that on the Ha’penny bridge in Dublin, there was once a toll of 1 halfpenny. Two men came up and asked if there was an additional toll for baggage. The toll officer said no. So, the two men tossed the officer one halfpenny. Then, one of the men jumped up onto the other man’s shoulders, and over the bridge they walked. The officer must have thought it seemed legit.
...But Shakespeare’s for old fogies! HAH
I just learned a week ago that at the American Shakespeare Center, people can go up onto the stage and read essays and give talks about their Shakespearean research or stuff like that.
They are only allotted 10 minutes, and if they go over time, someone in a bear costume comes out and chases them off the stage.

Helpful, but still confused by the verb forms. Affected means "influenced" but Effected means "caused a change in someone/thing else."
This is a little warmup of something I have been working on... my Action Research Thesis project for my Master's degree! I will be uploading my audio-visual interactive project reflecting on a lifetime of studenthood soon, so stay tuned! I specifically designed it to be accessible and interesting for anyone, not simply other educators, so I hope you take a look.
(Also, last ever Master’s class coming up tomorrow, can’t believe it!)
