weird rebecca sugar neopotism pagan los angeles ritual bloodfest
very funny that unteralterbach suddenly got popular because some retards kept posting about it on tiktok or something and now people suddenly have beef with a game that's over a decade old that's mostly about 2010 era german politics and keep making posts drawing attention to it instead of leaving it obscure and forgotten
also seeing people make OCs for it is incredibly fucking funny and absurd to me. literally a joke i would've made in 2018
так называемая денежная картинка. коммишка.
i can’t believe splatoon is two years old now what the fuck

i miss being a teenager
It's kinda funny how memes became similar to fashion or music trends, and you can associate their span with episodes of your life. The other day, I had this show up on a thread I was browsing and I would've never expected this dumbass jpeg to make me reminisce of so many memories 9 years after I've first seen it.
way too many people in this world. way too many thoughts we have to hear and new things to see. gonna have an information apotheosis soon. we need to have like max 3 billion people on earth
this was taken from the NY homestuck cosplay facebook page, circa 2011. i love that santa is wearing sunglasses too
to add to that last post, i think older minecraft was just much more wild and unique for the time? like it was so fascinating to me. i was obsessed with it as a kid and i when i played i always had this sense of wonderment that i don't think any other game has replicated thus far. it was so mysterious, grand, frustrating, weird, and even depressing at points. it was such an amazing experience. the music, the atmosphere, the concept of the game. it was something different. it was nostalgic yet still new somehow. i remember playing and building my base in the side of a mountain. carving out my name and making my mark in the world. and when i braved the night and walked out in the morning i would look towards the horizon and always wondered what was over those neon green hills or what laid behind that neon treeline. did notch add another secret to the game? were there dragons in the game? villages of pigmen? ruined wizard towers? icons to ancient gods? lost ruins or dungeons? now i know whats in minecraft. now i know what to expect. that feeling of exploring the unknown, being a pioneer in a virtual world, and the sense of adventure are gone.
updates get announced because they're required to announce them and they have to include reports of whats being added and removed and why. certains features people want added were outright denied or debunked. there are 30 minute long videos with millions of views explaining every little facet of the game and its details. its been combed over and been overanalyzed to death. theres nothing left to explore. nothing left to find. overexposure kinda killed minecraft.
i really envy the the rare few who have never played minecraft before.
this is still true
wondering how many of my tumblr friends are still alive
