They get back to Erid and Rocky introduces Grace and Adrian to each other

And over the first few weeks that Adrian is observing them together, they hear Grace's non-stop yapping

And they just take a moment, and then with nothing but unrestrained (slightly fond) horror, they go "Oh my god there's two of them"

Mitchell Museum in Trinidad, Colorado. Do Eridians know they are different colours. I bet Grace's alien kids love finding out what colour they are. It means absolutely nothing to them but they're like :O :O

The attending offered a tired hum, eyes cracking open to glance down at Grace as he curled up to his side. "That the only reason you finally came to bed? Feel like chopped liver over here." He mused, offering a playful smile.

"My guess is either the people that built her or... you. And for once it just so happens that I agree with the robot. You need rest."

Ry scrunched up his nose, removing his glasses since he forgot to take them off. The centrifuge helped them fall asleep immensely.

And the cuddling... Can't forget the scientific importance of that!

"You're so chopped liver," he teased. "Warm and your shampoo smells better than mine? What's not to love?"

He tsked. "Not like the robot is gonna be analyzing Tau Ceti for me, is it? It just keeps handing me those dry granola bars..." He tucked his head down under Robby's chin, settling in with a petulant noise.
