Taking the offered hand with an embarrassed smile, Christine nodded her head slowly. “I’m alright, just more wet than before,” she tried to joke. A shiver racking her body as another gust of wind whistled by, the brunette’s teeth began to chatter.
“I-I’m sorry I al-almost ran into y-you. I sh-should’ve been more c-careful,” the woman stammered. “I-I hope I didn’t hurt you or make this weather a-anymore unbearable.”
“It’s alright, a little bit of water never really hurt anyone. I’m more concerned for you-You’re the one who fell after all,” Yuu explained. She quickly examined the other woman from head to toe, making sure she didn’t have any terrible injuries as she ran a hand through her wet, blonde locks.
“You should, eh, probably get out of the rain soon,” she added. “You’re completely soaked. Do you need directions anyway? I might be able to give you a shortcut.”
