On the way in the cab to a fitting, she said she mentioned to Gareth that she would like him in leather and thigh-length boots, and he had said he didn’t think it was right for Blake, but he knew just the person for whom it would be perfect. I made a mental note to bash Gareth. It was all his fault! As it happened, leather is the most comfortable stuff to wear, and if you’re filming during winter, it’s very warm. If you’re out in Betchworth Quarry in the middle of November, it’s wonderful, and it stretches and it’s comfortable. So in the end I was quite happy. I was, however, a little reluctant to wear the thigh-length boots.”
