Yesterday, Paul Ryan voiced his support for Stephen Bannon. Bannon is the former editor for Breitbart news and a supporter of white supremacists. Bannon has been named Trump’s chief strategy advisor, meaning he will advise Trump on all matters of government and policy. He will use his influence to promote racism, sexism, homophobia, and islamophobia.
We must all call Paul Ryan’s office and respectfully declare our opposition to his endorsement.
Whether you voted or not. Whether you are 9 or 99, you can call Paul Ryan’s office and give your opinion.
If you aren’t sure what to say, here’s an example of what to say:
My name is [give your name]. I’m calling to say I’m disappointed with Speaker Ryan’s endorsement of Steve Bannon, a white supremacist. I am angered by the support his office is providing to a supporter and encourager of hate groups. I ask that he publicly affirm his commitment to defending vulnerable groups and welcoming diversity. Thank you.
They will make note of your concern and inform the Speaker.
The more calls the office gets, the more the Speaker will be pressed to make a statement that we can hold him to.
Speaker Ryan’s phone number is 1-202-225-3031 (wait until the end of the message; he thinks all anyone cares about is the ACA and the 2nd Amendment).
I recommend saving his number in your phone and calling back tomorrow and every day until he speaks out against Steve Bannon and white supremacy.
Together, we will be one voice. We will be so loud we will break these walls down!
Before and after the "Look, ma, I cut it myself!" experiment.

The Act
The act of choosing is difficult for me to endure, especially when every option seems hellbent on being less than pure.
There’s this shirt that’s red and that one that’s green And I can’t decide in which I should be seen. People judge, don’t you think? And it’s not as if I have a shirt that’s pink.
I can see the options in front of me and obviously, I’ll choose the lesser evil nominee.
For lunch, I don’t know what to pack when choosing between a burger’s heart attack or enduring a garden salad’s lack of flavor and satisfying animal fat.
I can see the options in front of me and obviously, I’ll choose the lesser evil nominee.
And yes, I’ll miss so much fun if I travel to London! The Louvre, the Sphinx, the Pantheon. Better yet, perhaps I’ll just stay home, and watch a Netflix re-run of ‘Life Goes On.’
I can see the options in front of me and obviously, I’ll choose the lesser evil nominee.
You can see I’m unhappy with the choices I’ve been given which shows you I’m smart and apologetic — so there’s no need for criticism.
