With a knowing smirk, Rey held the jar out again choosing not to comment even though the look on her face said it all. “It’s alright,” she started, taking another bite of her cookie with a shrug, “I won’t tell anyone you would die for these cookies. Your secret’s safe with me.” Her words and her attitude were purely lighthearted teasing and she suddenly found herself wanting to do everything she could to keep this version of Kylo around for as long as possible. Her eyes stayed fixed on his face, looking for any sign of an ulterior motive when he suggested training. She really didn’t need to state out loud why it was a terrible idea - two so-called enemies sparring together, learning the other’s fighting techniques… if it ever came down to them having another real fight, it would be useless. They would know each other too well. Not to mention, the Resistance wouldn’t be happy about it. No doubt they would suspect her of giving in to that pull to the dark. And yet…she wanted to accept the offer. They fought well together and they fought well against each other, but more importantly she could learn from him. With Luke no longer around (not a version of him that remembered her anyway), Rey could use the added training. “Alright,” she agreed with a nod and a slight smile. “But just know that I can, and will,kick your arse if this is some ruse to kill me like you promised,” she told him, only half joking. “When do we start?”

He smirked when she gave him back the jar. “ Good. “ He said, taking another bite of a cookie.      “ Or otherwise I’d have to kidnapped you and take you to another planet so you’d never reveal the Supreme Leader’s biggest secret. “ A small laugh escaped his lips. He wanted to train with her - he truly did, mostly because everyone around the town was oh so boring, Rey was the only who could ever match his skills. But also, part of him wanted to teach her somethings that Skywalker would never even think of teaching her. “ No killing each other for now, “ He said, holding out a hand. “ I can’t promise I won’t kick your arse but... no killing each other. You have my word. “ Kylo Ren always kept his word - after all. “ Don’t get any ideas, though. This just a friendly offer. Nothing else. “ He hoped she wouldn’t get any idea of turning him back into the light side. That wouldn’t happen. “ Well... we start whenever you’re ready to lose. “

Kylo nodded at the girl.  “ Well, it’s nice to see that I finally found someone who despises this holiday as much as I do. “ Perhaps, i-if things had been different he could enjoy it but... not in this situation. He needed to go home. If he didn’t, everything he worked so hard for would have been for nothing.  “ Oh, don’t worry, I will. “ She seemed... interesting.

“You people?” Luke questioned with a shake of his head crossing his arms across his chest he felt very unimpressed by this guy. However, he was still very intriguing to him. The dark side presence he sensed made him curious and the Christmas sweater with a snowman was definitely a hilarious sight to see. It was hard NOT to laugh when he caught sight of it. He was obviously trying to stifle it as he spoke taking a few moments before speaking again, “Don’t blame me I know no more about this celebration than you do.” He explained, making his way over and observing the sweater again, “Nice sweater. It’s a good look for someone as seemingly angry as you are.” He tried to be serious about it but the laughter was too much to bare, pressing his lips tightly together he tried to hold it in not that he had much right to laugh but it didn’t stop him from being amused.

 “ Laugh all you want, Skywalker. “ He said, crossing his arms. A small smile appeared on Kylo’s face and he placed his hand on his lightsaber. tHe still hated him - quite a lot, if he had to be honest. Not only had he tried to kill him Ben Solo when he did nothing wrong but he also had decided his fate for him. In the end, though, he had won. He killed Skywalker and even if this younger version of him was still around, it was still a victory for Kylo. It would be interesting to watch the other mad trying to figure out who he truly is. “ I didn’t really have a choice in the wardrobe. Someone picked it for me. “

She laughed. She couldn’t help it, but it burst out of her before she could stop it. When he said they were bad for their health, Rey pulled the jar back, keeping it protectively close to herself as if she was trying to stop him from getting to them. “Stop eating them then, if they’re so bad. Some of us actually like them,” she said, plucking another cookie from the jar and taking a bite. She tried her best to ignore the ripple of hurt she got from him but tried harder to hide the small wave of guilt that hit her because of it. “Technically, yes. You’re First Order, I’m Resistance… mortal enemies, remember?” Rey shrugged, “But you’re not an enemy to me.” Again, she felt sad the more she thought about him being alone and she couldn’t quite place her finger on why. The girl opened her mouth, ready to offer to visit him on Christmas Day at some point- if not in person, then through their Force bond. But then he mentioned training and their fight back home and she closed her mouth, giving a small nod and looking dejected. “Right. Of course.”

 Kylo couldn’t help it but crack a small smile when he noticed her laughing. She was bad for him, he knew that much. Here he was, laughing, when he should be training to destroy the rebel scum. Ben Solo could never truly die with her around. “ Give it back, “ He said, trying to reach the jar when she took it away. “ It’s not my fault we have nothing else to eat but christmas food. “ He shrugged. He didn’t want to be hurt at her words, but Kylo couldn’t help it. Mortal enemies, remember? Of course. How could he ever forget?  A-after everything, however, he hoped things would be different... They understood each other, after all. Didn’t they? “ I do have to practice b-but... duels are always a good way to train, no? “ He sighed quietly to himself. He wanted to train - he needed to do it but... part of him wanted to see what Rey was capable of doing once more. They had fought back to back once, after all.“ What I’m trying to say is... well, a training partner would be appreciated. Even though we’re fighting for different sides - if we ever go home, that is - it would be... nice. “

LEIA COCKS AN eyebrow at the familiar man, but ultimately ends up nodding. “—- i must admit that i don’t quite understand the holiday either. it’s somehow more extravagant than the wookie life day.” her big, doe eyes sweep over for any sort of sign he follows what she’s saying. “—- i do enjoy the principle of it, though. to spend time with the people you treasure. are you spending time with anyone ??”

Kylo tried to keep a neutral expression when the woman started talking. “ It’s quite different from what I was used to back home, “ He told her. As usual, he tried to keep his gaze away from her. It was hard for Kylo to be around the woman, much like what happened when he was around Rey. “ No, I’m not. “ He said, shaking his head, hoping that she wouldn’t get any ideas.

steve wasn’t too sure what to think of all this christmassy events on this island out of the sudden, his clothes were replaced by horrid uniforms and ugly christmas sweaters.. so currently he was wearing one sweater, which was a bit too big for him. it offended him, how they gave him the wrong size. so as he heard someone speak in annoyance he groaned softly. understanding him, truly. ‘ i don’t know man.. i don’t even know where the music is coming from. could be coming from absolutely anywhere, thinking of it — would be hard or even impossible to turn it off, ’ he shrugged, really hoping he had something something like earplugs anywhere near. ‘ hey man.. christmas isn’t that bad — however, it is when all there is left are christmas clothes, music and food.. as if i am santa myself. ’

 Kylo sighed at the man’s words. “ Well, I suppose this is whoever’s keeping us in here way of torturing everyone... “ He wouldn’t be surprised if someone powerful was keeping everyone here in order to torture and then kill them.  Not only was he stuck in a ugly sweater, but he was forced to listen to christmas songs on repeat. “ So, it would be useless to try and find wherever this is coming from. “ He told the other man. “ Well, where I’m from, there is no such thing as Christmas. Or a holiday. So you see, I’m not really used to this... Or to this planet. “

It surprised her that he actually took some of the cookies but she didn’t let it show on her face in fear of this rare and fractionally lighter side of Kylo disappearing as quickly as it came. So she pretended not to be too bothered by it, finishing off her own cookie with a knowing smile. “Yes, I can tell how much you hate them,” she said, her tone serious but the smile tugging at the corners of her mouth showing that she was teasing him. She wasn’t sure why she was being nice to him given that absolutely nothing good had happened between them since Snoke’s death. Perhaps, she thought, she was sticking to her promise of him not being alone or maybe she was just desperately holding on to that light part of him she knew was buried down deep. Either way, Rey doubted it would do any harm to show him some kindness. “Still awful even after I shared the most delicious cookies in the world with my enemy. Yes, I’m the worst,” she joked, a thought crossing her mind the second she finished talking. “I take it you won’t be celebrating Christmas. I believe the people here would called you a Scrooge.” She couldn’t help but wonder what exactly Kylo would do on Christmas Day, whenever it was. She imagined she would probably spend the day with Finn and Poe creating their own Christmas but it actually saddened her to think about Kylo not doing anything.

 Kylo could see that he actually surprised her - he knew her too well - and that brought a small smile to his face. This holiday... was all about being nice to people, wasn’t it? “ They’re awful, “ He said, stealing another one. “ I can’t see why people eat these disgusting things. They’re bad for your health, you know? “ She had betrayed him - he was still hurt, of course he was but...part of him wanted to move on. A very small part of him, but still, it was there. “ Enemy, uh? “ He couldn’t help it that the word actually hurt him. They were in opposite sides of the battlefield but... part of him thought they weren’t just enemies after everything. “ I see you finally got your priorities straight, scavenger. “ He smiled, but it was a weak smile. Why would she be any different? Everyone betrayed him. At the thought of Christmas, Kylo sighed. Of course he wasn’t celebrating it. He had no one to do it with. “ Well, of course not. I suppose this peculiar holiday involves spending the day with someone else, doesn’t it?  I’ll ... use the time to train. So when we go home... I’ll be ready.”

Elsa sighed as she pulled over her head one of the many Christmas sweaters that now populated her wardrobe. She (of course) chose the bright blue on with snowflakes all over it, as it reminded her the most of home. While she wanted to be upset, there was always something so magical about Christmas in Arendelle. She hoped it would be just as magical here. Walking out, was surprised to be bombarded with Christmas music everywhere and was even more surprised when a tall, angry looking individual approached her about the music. “Umm…Well, I can assure you it isn’t quite this…much where I am from. I-If you need an escape, at least for a little while, the noise isn’t so bad in my house?” Elsa offered, giving the man a small smile when she noticed his sweater, “I-I actually really like your sweater. One of my best friends back home is actually a talking snowman.

  Kylo raised an eyebrow at the girl’s attitude. Was everyone so... optimistic in this damn island?  “ Oh, so you have this strange holiday where you’re from? “  It seems everyone was used to this strange holiday - everyone but him. “ Perhaps later. I want to find a place where I could be.. at peace, but it seems I won’t get lucky today. “ With a shrug, Kylo placed his hand in front of the girl. “ Kylo Ren. About the sweater... well, it was the least awful. They took my black robes and replaced it... with this. “ He sighed.

Her smile faltered just a little bit but she still continued to eat the cookie in her hand. It was unsurprising to see Kylo’s attitude towards everything but she had to fight off a smile at the sight of him in his Christmas themed attire. There was a container of cookies tucked under her arm which she held out to him, not expecting him to take one but figuring she would offer anyway as an attempt to get him to ease up a little. “What’s not to like about it?” she asked, pressing her lips together in a failed attempt to stop herself from smiling at his shirt. “I’m not sure what the point is but most people seem to enjoy Christmas, whatever it is.”

 When he noticed her smile ( probably about his awful christmas sweater ), Kylo couldn’t help it but to crack a smile himself. It was so ironic - the two of them ending up in this town togeter and the fact that he was forced to actually be a part of the ridiculous holiday. When Rey offered him the cookie jar, he sighed. Oh well, there was nothing else to eat, so why fight it? He took two cookies from her jar, placing one in his mouth. They were... delicious? Not that he was about to admit it to her. “ I’m only eating those because there is nothing else to eat, “ Kylo told her, placing the second cookie in his mouth after he had finished the first one. He whispered, but smiled a little bit. “ Don’t get any ideas, scavenger. This holiday is still... awful. You’re still awful. “  Perhaps not as awful as it was a few seconds ago, though.

As if his life wasn’t awful already - being stuck in the island with Rey and her rebel friends, someone decided to make it even worse, by stealing his robes and replacing it with an awful Christmas wardrobe. So now, he was forced to walk around the island, wearing a red christmas sweater with a snowman on it. Kylo tried to ignore everyone ( including those that stared at him for wearing that awful sweater ) and to find somewhere he could be alone in, when he heard the songs. Christmas themed songs. “ You have to be kidding me, “ He said, to the first person he ran into. “ How can we turn that thing off? This day is already starting in the worst way possible. This holiday you people have is horrendous. “

“What the-…”Natalie stared around her rather ample-spaced and normal fully-stocked kitchen in disbelief. The dishes she had made and stored in the fridge yesterday to be either continued cooking during her vlogging shoot today as well as the couple of dishes she had prepared in advance for her and her foster daughter,  Robin’s,  dinner later tonight had all know changed to Christmas meal dishes, instead of the SouthEast Asian theme she had going on for this week. Not only that, all her food containers and jars which she had baked a few snacks, desserts and mini-appetizing treats were now changed into Christmas baked goods. Goodness gracious, was this another magical spell taking place in this strange and mysterious town?? She had seen her fair share of bizarre events taking place in the town during the 3 years she had been here, but this was a rather bizarre new feat. And not only that, all of her clothes were gone! And replaced with a strange new wardrobe of Christmas-themed outfits. To say she wanted to cry in frustration was an understatement as she had worked hard to buy all of her lovely clothes.

After several hours of trying to cook a Malaysian Chicken Curry Laksa and a stir-fried Thai noodle recipe which she had worked hard on for weeks already, Natalie sighed out loud in disbelief as all her efforts had failed: She was now stuck with two more Christmas meals which was unnecessary at the moment. Putting a portion of one of her dishes into a warm container, she then left her house temporarily forgetting that she was still donning the random Christmas romper she had just simply picked from her strange new wardrobe without thinking before she rushed to cook earlier, and quickly approached the first person she saw. “Would you like to take home this Christmas dish, pretty please? I’m begging you. I have a kitchen load of unnecessary dishes,”she pleaded as she opened the lid of the container a little so that the other could sniff the delicious and strong aroma of the dish as well as take a peek at it.

Kylo stopped in his tracks when he noticed that the girl - woman - was about to stop right in front of him. He crossed his arms in a defensive way and raised an eyebrow. He could smell the food the other was offering him and it smelt like quite good- but hey, it was never a good idea to accept food from strangers. “ How do I know you are not trying to poison me? “ He asked her. She could be with the Resistance, for all Kylo knew.  “ People are not that kind, even in such a strange holiday as this one. “

 Kylo resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the girl. Always so damn optimistic, even about this... peculiar event. No need to say that he was angry - quite angry, when he woke up to find that his black suit had been replaced by horrendous Christmas clothes. He didn’t have anything else to use, so he was forced to pick the least awful out of the batch. A red shirt with what he realized was a called a snowman later on. “ Only you would find such an awful occasion amazing.  “ He raised an eyebrow at the cookies. “ What’s the point of all of this, anyway? The people in this planet have such strange tastes. “

It was a difficult situation, Rey knew that. When they had fought against Snoke and the Praetorians, it was clear now that the lines had been blurred. Rey had mistakenly thought Kylo was coming back to the light, he had thought Rey was joining him. There were misconceptions on both ends. “I’m sorry. I didn’t want to…betray you, but I saw no other option.” Her face and tone made it clear that she meant it. She had never meant to hurt him. “We don’t agree on what the right way is. It wouldn’t work.” Not only that, but she didn’t trust herself. If Ben had seen her turn to the dark just as she had seen him turn to the light, she couldn’t take that risk. The pull to the dark was already hard enough to resist as it was, like she had proved on Luke’s island. Though it sent an initial shock through her when Kylo grabbed her wrist, Rey wasn’t afraid. If she needed to, she knew she would be able to match his strength. So she let him yell, let him get it out before she argued back. “So kill her. Kill her and let it haunt you like killing Han does. Then see if the First Order - which you were so ready to give up to rule the galaxy with me - is worth it when you do.”

“ Nobody means to betray me but in the end, it still happens. “ he scoffed. “ I’m sure Skywalker didn’t meant to try to kill me either. Such a shame I killed him first. Your master. Your friend. How does it make you feel, Rey? How will you feel when I kill your friends, one by one, right in front of you? I promise I’ll kill you last so you can watch them die. “ He told her. “ You don’t know that. We could have done things the right away. We could have ruled the galaxy side by side - in a new era. If you had just let me explain. “ He had seen her - turning to the dark side, rulling by his side. Why did she had to be so bloody stubborn? She couldn’t deny it - they had a connection. “ You think killing Solo haunts me? Killing him was the best thing I ever did. Watching the light leave his eyes... no other thing ever gave me such joy. “ He knew she would be hurt, due to her connection with Solo. Good. Let her be. “ Organa will soon follow her brother and lover. And you, you’re weak. I was wrong to think you could ever rule the galaxy with me. After all, you’re nothing. The daughter of no one. Not even Skywalker truly believed in you. No one does, really. “ He said, angrily.  He hoped she couldn’t feel that he was just hurt by her - angry, hurt, sad. Sad because everyone that he started to trust betrayed him. “ I am the Supreme Leader of the First Order. It’s all I worked for. Of course it is worth it. “
