You wake up in a Foundation cell. You seem to be wearing an orange jumpsuit with a weird logo on the left breast pocket. The door seems to be shut. There is a bed, a sink, a toilet, and a small drawer next to the bed. The light seems to be blinding.
I decided the version with escape from Foundation was not very interesting, let it remain for alternative events. I wrote about the events that happened after Snezka worked for a long time as a psychologist at the SCP Foundation.
[RECORDING START]
Dr. Lewandowski: Good afternoon, Doctor. How are you feeling?
SCP-049: Today I'd like to talk not about my well-being, but yours. I can feel that you need my help.
Dr. Lewandowski: My role here is to help you. I'm fine, just... the usual workload. We've already discussed boundaries, haven't we?
SCP-049: There's another burden, I've seen it growing in you throughout our sessions. This fatigue, this constant effort... you're not just helping me, are you? Trying to heal a world that doesn't want to be healed by your methods. It's so familiar to me... And I think that's why you understand.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Indignantly) That's unprofessional. My personal state is not the subject of our work. Let's focus on you.
SCP-049: (Ignoring her words) You've done a long and painstaking job. Listened to my "ramblings", as your colleagues put it, with such attention that no one else has shown. For that... I'm indebted to you. I see this illness of your soul. I can cure it.
Dr. Lewandowski: The pestilence?...
SCP-049: No. Perhaps you can guess it yourself. Look within yourself, remember everything. Your body hasn't changed. But your soul... it's tormented. I can see it. These sleepless nights. This constant struggle to maintain... illusions. You're trying to hold onto what's already crumbling. Is it normal for a soul to scream from exhaustion? When you try to heal those who don't want to be healed by your methods, and thereby burn yourself out completely.
Dr. Lewandowski: That's not your concern. I'm under the Foundation's protection. Let's get back to my work.
SCP-049: (His voice softens again, becoming almost hypnotic) Protection? They protect you from external threats. But who will protect your soul from itself? From this exhausting war you wage every day? I see something special in you.
Dr. Lewandowski: What do you... want to do?
SCP-049: (He extends his gloved hand across the table, a gesture not aggressive, but inviting. His fingers are folded, as if for a gentle touch.) I want to give you what no one else can. Just accept it.
(Dr. Lewandowski looks at his hand. Then at his face. She slowly, with a trembling hand, extends her palm.)

His sympathy is not empathy, but a calculated exploitation of her weakness to gain control. Snezka tries to stick to protocol, but emotional pressure and exhaustion make her give in.
Due to a malfunction in the audio and video system, the security personnel only learned about the incident with a delay. Dr. Lewandowski and SCP-049 were found in her office. The psychologist was lying unconscious on the couch, while SCP-049 was finishing stitching up her opened body.
Reasons why the security department allowed the incident to happen:
Dr. Lewandowski, as a psychologist, had been working with SCP-049 for a long time. During such prolonged periods, especially if the object appears to be stable and cooperative, a subtle weakening of protocol strictness can occur. Her successes in working with the object also played a role. She reported achieving significant trust from SCP-049, which led to a sense of security for herself and the management. Initially, there were two guards in the room when she was working with the object. After his persistent refusal to answer many of Dr. Lewandowski's questions in the presence of security, the sessions were monitored via audio and video cameras, which subsequently malfunctioned with a significant delay in audio and video transmission, resulting in the security team not responding in time.
Emergency isolation and medical examination:
Lewandowski is placed in quarantine and under intensive medical observation. Every aspect of her physiology will be studied. As a result, she was found to be unable to feel physical pain and also immune to infections.
Psychological assessment:
In parallel with the physiological tests, a comprehensive psychological assessment was conducted to ensure that SCP-049's operation did not affect her psychological health or loyalty to the Foundation.
Experts tried to determine the purpose of his actions, why the incident affected Dr. Lewandovski in particular, and how he achieved this effect.

Dr. Aris: 049, Explain your actions towards Dr. Lewandowski. Your interaction protocols strictly prohibit physical contact with employees, and you violated it. Our employee is now unable to feel pain.
SCP-049: (A calm voice, but with a barely noticeable delay) My actions were an act of... healing. And gratitude. Dr. Lewandowski had been making efforts to understand my mission for a long time. I saw her suffering. Not from the Plague, no, but from a different problem - chronic fatigue, despair, a futile struggle against an implacable reality.
Dr. Aris: And you decided the best way to help her was to deprive her of the ability to feel pain? A basic human sense that protects us from danger, signals when something is wrong with the body. What exactly did you want to do to make things better for her?
SCP-049: (A long pause. 049 slightly tilts his head, a gesture that could be interpreted as confusion or searching for words) You won't understand. I... I wanted to remove what caused her the most suffering. Perhaps my method was... not entirely precise in its nuances, but the goal was noble. I didn't want her to feel no pain at all.
Dr. Aris: (Angrily) Do you realize that insensitivity to pain is deadly for a human? That she won't notice injuries, infections, internal damage? She needs constant medical examinations, tests! A real good doctor wouldn't do that.
SCP-049: (His posture tenses, his gaze fixed on Aris. His voice becomes sharper, as if defensive) Don't try to shame me! I didn't mean to harm her. My goal is not suffering, but to free her from it. The absence of pain... I understand that in your world it's dangerous. But that's just because your world is full of imperfection. It's a... a complication. The result of the Plague deeply ingrained in the very fabric of existence. I must help her, let me atone for my actions and personally monitor her condition, I can...
Dr. Aris: (Interrupts) Don't even think about it! Help her again? Are you saying you plan to "help" her again to "correct" your mistake?
SCP-049: (His voice regains its previous confidence, but with a hint of desperation) Not a mistake... It... It is not complete. The absence of pain is not the end. I must monitor her. I must ensure she's not at risk. Only I can do this properly.
Dr. Aris: You claim you understand the nature of her current state better than us?
SCP-049: I created this state. Even with unforeseen consequences. She's now my... special patient. I must protect her from the consequences of a world unprepared for such cure. You cannot take her away. My gratitude... it's not just a word. It's an obligation.
Dr. Aris: (A heavy sigh) Your statements will be reviewed. The Interview is over.
SCP-049: (Turning aside) Tell her... to be careful.

Unexpected effect: 049 admits that the absence of pain was unforeseen. This undermines his image as a perfect healer, but reinforces his humanity and his motivation to correct it.
Life-threatening Danger:
049, even with his distorted logic, understands that insensitivity to pain is dangerous in an "imperfect world". This is not equivalent to human empathy, but it shows that he sees a cause-and-effect relationship and tries to find a solution. He believes the Foundation sees danger where he sees incomplete healing.
Inability to explain:
His phrases like "I... I wanted to remove what caused her the most suffering" demonstrates his inability to translate his anomalous concepts into understandable human terms. He acts from his own, non-human understanding of goodness, which is completely incomprehensible to humans. Or maybe everything is going exactly as he intended?
Reasons for allowing SCP-049 and Dr. Lewandowski to continue their work:
The project management took a risk to obtain new data on the nature of SCP-049 and his methods. This led to the approval of risky experimental protocols involving closer interaction than usual. The Foundation views her as a valuable anomalous asset. She has proven to be a good research agent and observer of SCP-049, and with his trust in her, and her safe presence near him, the Foundation can gain more knowledge from the object.
Comprehensive tests confirm that her loyalty to the Foundation is unshaken, her cognitive functions are normal, and there are no signs of aggression or deviation.
The Foundation is implementing the strictest and most constant medical monitoring protocol for Dr. Lewandowski. She also serves as a kind of control mechanism for SCP-049. The Foundation will use her as a kind of envoy or tool to manipulate 049. She collects data and gently guides 049 towards research that is useful and safe for the Foundation.
I tried not to deviate too much from the way the original was animated but I changed the plot.
The SCP foundation given another test subject from the D-class (who doesn't know, in the scp universe these are criminals who were dragged to the foundation as test subjects to study anomalies)
He turned out to be sick with pestilence, an unknown disease that only Doc knows how to treat, and Snezka is like an assistant to him (in order to get new information for the foundation about Doctor and his abnormal abilities but she got carried away in the process)
FINALLY FINISHED DESIGNING THEM..HOOOOHH
I'm so happy with all of them honestly.. Red might need slight touch ups (I tried giving him a jester hat so bad but it just wasn't fitting T_T) so I left it at that..

Okay I can't take it anymore valuing practicality and professionalism over decorating the hell out of SCP characters is the thing that's gonna kill my love for character designing
I WILL make Iceberg's scarf, boots and jacket BIG and DRAMAMTIC and he's gonna be carrying weapons twice the size as him no I do not care if it's not laboratory or office friendly he can simply just shed of the jacket and boom regular reseacher
I WILL give Trebuchet the messiest hair do with random pens, pencils, rulers, and trinkets stuffed inside and she's also gonna be wearing clothes that are basically pajamas that she hasn't changed in over half a month because she keeps forgetting to practice basic hygiene
I WILL make my Gerald look like an ER patient that really shouldn't be working right now but he says he's fine so he can definitely handle it Frankenstein lookin ass with various scars, marks, prosthetics and not just bandages
I WILL let my Draven embrace the fact that he never grew out of his emoscene phase that man may have matured and he is not that extreme anymore but he still got that dawg in him and I'm also gonna need to give this boy more scars and injuries his unit literally specializes in reality benders the man needs both more physical and mental damage
And all of the characters will have sci fi details in their designs but obviously not too much because I don't wanna go that extreme
Before this treaty is finalized we need to discuss those sonic weapons of yours. Said the alien senator "uh we have no sonic weapons in our arsenal." Said the human"well what's this we have captured that your soldiers were blasting from their positions." Said the senator pulling out a speaker
096 gets audibly agitated when you stand in his cell doing nothing. He preferred it when you were busy.
You're issued a facial recognition blindfold now. It feels good to not have to look at the floor constantly. You can look wherever you want and it obscures 096's entire head.
096 tries to take it off. Regularly. But you're less scared of him than you were a long time ago and aren't afraid to bat his claws away.
096 overall spends no time crying when you arrive. He wants to see what you're doing. Very curious in nature.
You bring 096 stimuli like colouring crayons, sticks and twigs, clothes, to see what happens. It's fun to watch his reaction to things.
096 has learnt how to verbally grab your attention. He doesn't seem to know actual words but regularly grunts and whines now.
Your favourite sound is a chattering one, it sounds like he's vibrating his jaw but you can't really see to find out.
He bares teeth and chomps them quietly at you when you do anything he dislikes. He's gone as far as mildly scratching your hand once but obviously regretted it.
096 responds strangely to food gifts. Seems like he doesn't like it when you get close to his food once it's handed over.
096 has grown fond of just holding your shoulders from behind. He doesn't lean on you but will just hold on for up to an hour while you demonstrate how to use things.
096 doesn't like you going away and has tried a few times to guilt you into staying longer by lightly scratching at his face and whining when you express the desire to leave.
It works a lot.
