Sun also notices that moons recently developed crush has caused him to become more passive, so sun makes it his goal to somehow get reader and moon together in anyway they can, unfortunately falling in love in the process. AN: đ„ ANON YOU ARE A LITERARY GENIUS THIS WAS A GREAT IDEA! You didn't specify whether you wanted headcanons or a one-shot, but since this is a more linear story idea I went with a one-shot!
It all started when Sun realized they had more charge in their battery than usual. Moon was notorious for using all their collective charge on patrolling, climbing, and crawling on the ceiling. But recently, Sun has had more than enough to complete his usual morning chores. He had no reason to believe Moon was slacking, of course, but something might be wrong!Â
Sun rummaged through their messy room for any new notes from Moon. The two don't communicate within the headspace all that often, so they each place sticky notes for the other to see. The search turned up empty, save for a pile of torn notes that were utterly illegible. Finally, he spied one stuck neatly on the doorframe. It was crumpled at the edges, and hastily scrawled across it was the message:Â

Sun fidgeted with his rays nervously. Usually when the two "spoke", it meant that Moon was angry. But, there was no use in avoiding it. Sun smoothed his rays one more time, then opened his mind and allowed Moon to speak.
Immediately Sun was knocked back with a wave of emotion radiating from Moon. Sun felt his chest plating tighten as their shared body reacted to his mood.
"Heeeey Moon. uhhhh... how's it going?" Sun reached out cautiously. "Looks like you're- heheh- feeling something pretty intense, huh?"
"I am having⊠difficulties."
"Well, I'll say! So uh- what's wrong? Did I do something wrong? I'll fix it, whatever it is!"
Moon said nothing, but his emotions swirled around the headspace. Sun noticed his legs beginning to malfunction and his throat tightening. Finally, Moon seemed to have gathered the courage to speak. "You're familiar with our assistant, correct?"
"Oh yes, we talk all the time, they're one of my very best friends!"
"Well, I⊠I see them as⊠more than a best friend, Sunny."
"MOON??? YOU HAVE A CRUSH? oooooOO-" Sun wobbled his noodle arms for emphasis.
"You are acting like one of the children."

Sun surrounded their writing with stickers, little doodles of moons, and a border of his favorite glitter glue. Then, he sprinted out of their room, put it on your desk, ran back to their room, and watched from the balcony as you walked through the door.

Sun watched you do your opening shift activities, anxious for when you'd take a break and see the note. He watched the careful way you set out crayons, and the little dance you did while listening to the daycare theme. He noticed the little fidgets you do when you're concentrating, and the way the lights hit your hair. Slowly, Sun's chest plating tightened. His throat became hollow and dry. And his legs wobbled until they almost gave out from beneath him.Â

Sun was just about to tiptoe back to his balcony when he heard a voice say:

"NO! YES! I mean.. maybe?" Sun crumpled to the ground in embarrassment, his legs essentially jelly as you unfold the notes.Â
You read them silently, stunned with disbelief. "Both of you?" you ask.
Sun looked up at you from the floor. "At first I was just trying to help Moon, because he's a little shy but- but then I was waiting for you to pick it up and I- well- you just look so pretty when you do everything and I- I couldn't help it!"
Your wide-eyed look of disbelief turned to a sappy grin. You fumbled for a pen and check off one box on each note. You took Sun's faceplate in your hands and gently pressed your nose to theirs. "Then I choose 'yes' and 'yes'."

Tobirama is not an oblivious man, he can see it in your eyes how quickly you fall for him, or maybe the idea of him right from the start of your marriage.
And while he is your husband and by definition, wholly devout to you, he canât help but feel sick at the idea that you think this marriage is a romantic gesture.
He had to admit to himself that he was perhaps a bit too cold at times. Tobirama had no reason to be rude to you. You were kind and sweet and all the things he should want in his wife, this was the reason his older brother had brought you to him. He just couldnât shake the fact that he didnât need marriage to be happy and to feel successful. He didnât need you.
But for whatever reason, your heart had sought refuge with him, and day in and day out, he hated how nice you were and how considerate you were to him, to someone who could never reciprocate those same feelings.
His chest tightened when you would crawl into bed with him and give him a small kiss on the cheek and wish him a good rest. Tobirama grunted the greeting back to you and felt your presence closely behind him as you both drifted off to sleep.
Mornings were calm and peaceful in the house, probably Tobiramaâs favorite time of day. He enjoyed sifting through his papers at the table during breakfast while you cooked. He made note of how quickly you learned just exactly how he enjoyed his breakfast. Another kind gesture that made his stomach sink whenever his meal was presented to him.
âI hope you have an amazing day.â Your words were soft but completely sincere as you leaned up and kissed him before Tobirama went out for the day.
Of all the things in the world, why did you have to be the perfect wife?
He groaned whenever he would enter his brotherâs office, which didnât go unnoticed by him. Hashirama seemed all too aware of what was going through his little brotherâs mind. Tobirama wished he could kick him out of his head.
âHow is Y/N?â Hashirama would ask casually.
Tobirama would shrug. âNothing much as changed, big brother. She is a wonderful woman, but I do not love her.â
âDo you not love her, or do you not wish to love her?â
Tobiramaâs eyebrow twitched at his brotherâs words. He kept to himself for the rest of the day.
You always insisted on tending to your husbandâs wounds whenever he returned home from missions.
Tobirama would sit tensely in your shared bed as you changed his bandages and applied different serums to the wounds. He hated how delicate and soft your touch was. It wasnât what he deserved as your husband, a husband who didnât even love his life.
But alas, he tried to play the front of a good spouse. âHow⊠did you do anything interesting while I was away?â
He noticed how you perked up at his question, a gentle smile spreading across your lips. The way your eyes lit up made his chest hurt.
âYour friend Madara took me out for tea⊠but other than that it was rather uneventful.â
Tobirama almost jumps out of bed at your words, rage filling his eyes.
âWh-why would you⊠Madara Uchiha? Are you serious?â He tries his best to hold back the disgust in his voice. Of all the things he couldnât stand the most, it was the kindness of others being taken advantage of. For what other reason would Madara want to spend personal time with his wife other thanâŠ
Your lips found Tobiramaâs and you immediately felt his body calm. âIt was an innocent invitation⊠I promise I wasnât out with him for even an hour.â The look in your eyes is genuine. You wouldnât leave him or even consider seeking refuge with another man, especially not the likes of Madara Uchiha.
Tobirama let out a ragged sigh and pulled you in for another kiss.
âWHERE IS MY WIFE?!â
Tobirama rushed to the hospital immediately when he heard the news.
He should have been there. It should have been him fighting the perpetrators and not you. You werenât a shinobi, you had no training. It absolutely should have been him.
The man was enraged when he saw you resting in the hospital bed. He could barely take in the nurse telling him that your injuries were healing fine and that you only needed rest. His eyes met yours and you could almost feel his rage seeping out of his body.
âWhy in the world would you fight back? I told you, if anything like that happened you run away, you get as far away from the enemy as soon as you can.â He doesnât mean for his words to sound so harsh, but he just cannot fathom why his wife would put herself between the enemy and their home.. For what?
âY-you hate people touching your stuffâŠâ Your voice was a little broken, but you try to keep it together despite the tears welling up in your eyes. âI didnât⊠I didnât want them getting to your office and taking anything you thought was precious I-â
âYou are precious to me!â Tobiramaâs fist slammed into the wall next to your bed, almost hard enough to create a hole completely through. âDo you not understand that? You are more important to me than any stupid document or book I have in that house.â
He runs a hand over his face. Is he seriously doing this right now? His head is pounding almost as hard as his chest. In his mind, he feels like he sounds ridiculous, but he means every single word of it.
âI love you⊠I love you and I donât know what I would have done if⊠if they had taken you or even worse-â He holds back, feeling his throat tighten.
That was the first time he had said it. I love you. Since the day of your marriage, he hadnât muttered those words, not to you and not to anyone else.
A weight is lifted off of him and Tobirama drops to his knees next to your bed. Something is stripped away from his soul, but replaced with something else.

Moondrop watched as you rather ungracefully scaled the outside of the structure.
"A kid threw a ball up here earlier and Sunny wouldn't let me go up and get it. So I figured I'd just wait for you to show since you have no regard for my safety"

You were too focused on maintaining balance to respond.
"What are you doing?! Stop them!"
Sunnydrop chimed in anxiously in Moondrops head
"They're fine"
You look behind curiously looping your arm around one of the padded bars

You made it too the top and threw the ball down.

Moondrop groaned as you laughed. Then carefully proceeded to decend the structure until you were safely on the ground.
"Oh thank goodness they're okay"
Moondrop pushed back Sunnydrop voice as you approached.
"See? Nothing to worry about. I did take gymnastics when I was like.....five"
Moondrop smirked
"I don't think you maintained the same agility you had when you were five starlight"
You shrugged off his comment and made your way over to the desk.
"Regardless I did it, I'm tired and I'm going home"

You grabbed your bag and headed to the door

As you walked to the exit you were surprised to see someone walking toward you.You recognized him, he was a new engineer, you think his name was Max? You didn't know much about him but he seemed friendly enough. As you crossed paths he smiled and waved at you.
"Hey (Y/N)! Heading out for the night?"
"Hi Max, um yeah. What are you doing here so late? And so chipper?"
He smiled big,similar to that of the children you watch run around the daycare.
"I'm just excited! Fazbear entertainment gave me the green light to move forward with a project I've been working on!"
"That's great, what is it?"
"Can't say just yet but you'll find out tomorrow when you come in"
He gave a somewhat devious grin that concerned and confused you.
"Does it have something to do with the daycare?"
He began to walk backwards still facing you.
"Maybe, maybe not. Don't worry about it just go home and rest. Something tells me you have an interesting day ahead of you tomorrow"
He fully turned and left, you watched him walk off leaving you with more questions then answers. What in the world was he talking about? Guess you had to wait until tomorrow.
The next day you came into work a little earlier. You didn't get much sleep last night, you were too busy overanalyzing what Max said. You had no idea what awaited you as the daycare entrance came into view. You opened the door half expecting something to pop out at you. Instead you were greeted by a seemingly empty daycare. Which was strange, Sunny would usually wait by the door for you every morning.
"Hello? Sunny I'm here!"
You called out as you looked around trying to figure out what was going on. You walked a bit before finally hearing a voice.
"(Y/N)! You're finally here!"
You instantly recognized the voice to be Sunnydrop. Relived you turn around, but instead of seeing the sun animatronic you've come to adore you a saw...a man?! He was wearing Sunnys usually costume,he was tall not as towering as the animatronic but still tall, he had a messy mop of blonde hair slightly hidden under a jester hat. Before you can begin to comprehend what you where seeing he ran over and scoop you into a tight hug.
"I'm so so happy to see you! So much happened after you left last night."
"Calm down the poor thing is probably in shock"
From over Sunnys shoulder you can see another man. You immediately registered as Moondrop, same outfit, same unamused look you always assumed was on his face.
"Right! Sorry"
He backed away and you released the breath you didn't know you were holding. Your eyes flicked back and forth between the two of them. Was this a dream? How is this possible?
"Sunnydrop?"
The blonde put his hands on his hips proudly
"The one and only!"
"Moondrop?"
The other man gave a small smile
"It's nice to finally see you in the daytime starlight"
This felt so unreal, you almost didn't want to believe it. Was this what Max was talking about?
"How did this happen?"
The two looked at each other for a second, then Moondrop spoke up.
"After you left some engineer we've never seen before came in and said he was going to upgrade us. Everything went dark and next thing we know we wake up back in the daycare like...this"
He gestured to himself.
"I honestly think this is awesome! Look!"
Sunny grabs your hand and intertwines his fingers with yours.
"Our hands fit together perfectly now!"
You couldn't help but blush, Max was right, this certainly was interesting. You had to admit you had a tiny crush on them before but this made your emotions much more complicated.

"I was wondering the same, I understand giving us separate bodies but human appearances?"
Moondrop walks a little closer.
"I'll talk to him about it later, but we have kids coming in soon so let's focus on that"
Almost if on queue a few kids ran into the daycare. You were genuinely grateful, you didn't feel prepared to deal with this other situation. The day went by easier with two other people now around. Of course the kids questioned why Sunny and Moon looked different but the best excuse you came up with on the spot was magic. They thankfully believed it and continued on their way.
On your break you managed to sneak out without being noticed by your new companions. You had to get answers, you marched right to Max's office and swung open the door. He was reclining with his feet on the desk looking as smug as ever.
"Ah (Y/N) I've been expecting you, how'd you like your little surprise?"
"What the heck did you do?! Why?! How?!"
"I know you have a lot of questions but if you'll let me explain myself"
He gestures to the chair in front of his desk, you took a seat and crossed your arms.
"Fine, explain"
"With pleasure, Fazbear entertainment had been looking for a way to make the animatronics appearance more family friendly. A nine foot character can be intimidating to a child, which leads to them getting scared and parents complaining and a whole mess of trouble. However kids are familiar and more comfortable with seeing other humans. Therefore by making the robots look more human kids won't be scared anymore, saving everyone so much hassle"
You thought for a second, his logic was kind of sound.
"I guess that makes sense, how did you even manage that?"
"Thats my little secret, but tell me how do you like my designs? I knew you had a little thing for them before but seeing them like that must have been a nice treat huh?"
You were half tempted to slap him.
"Shut up, you don't know what you're talking about."

Sun
Sun is always the one to start a pillow fight, usually by surprise-attacking you out of nowhere. He uses his long noodle arms to whack you around corners.
If they accidentally hurt you, they will be worrying their head off making sure you are ok. "NOOOOOOO FRIEND, I AM SO SORRY SORRY SORRY!!! Will you be ok!? Do I need to call first aid?? Parts and service??? 911???THE MORGUE????" He will cradle you as if he just murdered you, when in reality his metal hand just scraped you a bit.
He has a favorite pillow. He calls it "Excali-bed".
Though you can't predict when a surprise attack will happen, you know exactly when Sun is preparing for one: he hoards spare pillows in his giant pant legs.
Multiple pillows have been ripped after getting caught on Sun's nose.
They have a flair for dramatics, and will act out epic battles. He will build an elaborate fort out of cushions and more pillows and pretend to fire cannons. When you eventually break through "MY IMPENETRABLE DEFENSE!!!", he will act out a whole death scene before rebooting himself for dramatic effect.
Moon
Pillow fights with Moon quickly devolve into "pillow laser tag", where both of you run around the play structures in the dark trying to whack each other.
King of precision shots. He will stand on a high platform of a play structure and beam it at you. Thankfully pillows are soft and no one gets hurt.
They actually hit you softer than Sun does. Moon knows their own strength and doesn't let their enthusiasm get the better of them.
If he accidentally hurts you, they will immediately stop and make sure you're alright. He would offer you an ice pack if needed one, and lets you whack him with your pillow as many times as you want. (Don't get used to it)
They have VERY fast reflexes. If you try to surprise attack him, he will snatch the pillow mid-air, with you still dangling from it. "You will have to try harder than that."
After the pillow fight is over, you two like to play "how many pillows can we drop on DJMM's head before he notices". Your record is 5 and a Moon collectable plush.

Sun hugged you the first time you met, that's just the kind of personality he is. When they saw how you leaned into the hug, they made an effort to touch you more often.
Good luck getting him to stay still. He will fidget with your hair, your hands, or his bell bracelets.
If they have an overwhelming amount of tasks, Sun doesn't let them get in the way of cuddle time. They will scoop you up with one arm and be productive with the other. "Oh, don't worry about it, friend! I always have time for you!"
He cannot help but squish you too tight, you have to tap his arm a few times to remind them to let you breathe.
Sun has trouble grasping the idea that they are heavy and made of metal. When the two of you do arts and crafts together, Sun always absentmindedly leans into you. This inevitably causes you to fall off your kiddy chair.
You two now do arts and crafts on the floor.
Sun isn't picky, but his favorite way to cuddle is when both of you lie on your backs in the ball pit and hold each other like otters <3

Your honor, I'd like to convince the jury that Moon is a giant softie.
I don't subscribe to the "Moon hates cuddles" propaganda. In my mind, Moon dislikes unexpected touch. They love to be hugged and cuddled, but during cuddle time. Whatever you do, don't surprise hug this guy unless you want to get bonked.
This does not work the other way around however. Moon will snatch you up from the ceiling without warning for mid-air cuddles. The fact that canonically "He will always find you"? Surprise, now it's more comforting than scary.
You could be scrolling on your phone (perhaps reading the latest dreggmanluver fic ;D) and suddenly hear a metallic thunk as Moon rests their head on your lap. He will not move. Ever. You must push him.
Oh wait back up, did I mention MID-AIR CUDDLES?? That's right, he rests his "chin" on top of your head, and wraps you in a little cocoon with their arms. You are supported in every sense of the word. "You are in no danger of falling. I've got you."
For more "grounded" cuddles, Moon prefers positions where you can see each other's faces. Seeing your smile makes Moon very happy.

"I-" Dabi was at lost for words. How was he to explain it to you that he had you beaten up to protect you?
"I don't hate you." He finally managed to say, and your eyes searched his to see if he was lying.
"Well, I do. I hate you. I'll stay out of your way, never bother you again, so don't bother pretending to care about me. I will never talk to you again, and I will be off to college in a couple of months, so you don't have to worry about me taking the attention from your family or me leaching off them."
You hate him? You want to leave him? Never see him again? Dabi doesn't want any of that.
He walked towards you. "I don't hate you, you stupid brat. I don't want you to leave-" He said as softly as he could, and grabbed your hand. But you yanked your hand away, and shoved him away from you with all your might, not caring at the burning pain in your ribs.
"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT WHAT YOU WANT! I DON'T WANT TO BE NEAR YOU, TALK TO YOU OR SEE YOU EVER AGAIN!" You yelled, your face red and tears now flowing down. "Don't you get it? I fucking hate you!"
"Y/N!" Rei yelled this time, everyone looking to where she was staring at. Your shirt, it was getting red from the right side.
Your stitches had opened.
She and Enji rushed over to you and gently pushed you back to bed while you continued to stare angrily at Dabi. "I'll- I'll call Natsuo!" Rei said before rushing out of the room. Dabi had only taken a step when you barked at him to stop. "Don't you dare think about touching me! Get out!"
He never thought his sweet little baby sis could ever hold so much hostility for him.
Enji cleared his throat, his eyes briefly leaving the wound on your side that had opened up to look at Dabi. "I... I think its best if you leave for now, Dabi." Or Y/n will get more worked up and end up hurting herself more. Enji didn't have to say the last part aloud for Dabi to understand what he meant.
Without another word, Dabi left the house, slamming the door on his way out.
Almost 2 months had passed since the park incident. 2 months since you talked to Dabi. He tried to talk to you, but the moment you found he was home, you'd go to your room and lock yourself there until he left. Of course, nobody believed you, except for Enji, but you think he only did it to please you. Rei and your siblings tried to get you to talk to Dabi again, but you refused to talk that bastard again and if they persisted, you'd threaten them with silent treatment with them too. So they didn't push you too much, deciding you'll come around on your own eventually.
Why should you forgive Dabi anyways? You have had nightmares because of him. You cant run ever again without risking your ribs breaking or feeling completely breathless when you walk the stairs. Not to mention, Enji and Rei haven't allowed you to go back to school again, saying that its not safe for you. If Dabi had helped you that day, you would still be allowed to go to school. They didn't even allow you to leave the house alone anymore either.
But when you kept on persisting, Enji allowed you to finish your education online, and now you were waiting for admission letters from colleges you had applied to. You cant wait to get out of this place, live a normal life again.
"Do you have to go?" Your voice was muffled due to you burying your face in Enji chest.
Enji laughed, patting your head as you hugged him. "Yes. Its a mission that the government wants me to go on. Its only for a month. I'll be back before you know it."
You still didn't let go of him, opting to pulling your face away and looking up at him with puppy eyes. "What if I'm in trouble? What hero do I go to?" Enji chuckled at your antics to get him to stay. "Well, you can always call me, although I don't think I'll be able to answer if I'm in a fight. You do have Hawks's number, hm?" You nod. "Good. Besides, your mother is here too. Shotou will be coming back from the dorms later this week and Fuyumi and Natsuo will swing by when they can. You wont even miss me, I'm sure."
You pulled away, scoffing. "Of course, I'll miss you. You're the only one who listens to me."
Enji smiled. You were still as adorable as you were as a baby. "Hm, how about this then? I'll bring you chocolates and souvenirs from there?"
You looked at him bewildered. "Are you bribing me? Because if you are, its working. Be sure to bring me a plushie too." Enji nodded, leaning down to kiss your cheek before leaving.
"Oh my god." You said to yourself as you read the letter again.
"Y/n Todoroki, you have been accepted into-"
"I got in." You whispered. I got into college.
You wanted to scream out of joy, but opted to do a little happy dance instead, before patting yourself on the back.
You picked up your phone, about to call your dad to tell him the good news. But then decided against it. What if he's busy at the moment? Besides, it'd be more fun to see his reaction live when he's back home.
I should tell mom.
Nodding to yourself, you rushed down stairs to tell Rei about your acceptance letter, only stopping outside her room when you heard Dabi's name.
He was home? You opened the door slightly to peek in, but found no one except for Rei who was talking on the phone.
"Its not your fault, Dabi. No, its not. You were just looking out for her- we were looking out for her. Yes, I don't ever want Y/n to get hurt, but it was necessary to get those boys to beat her up to make her realise how she'll never be safe anywhere but home. Yes, it hurts my heart-" Mom knew those bullies? "-but if you see the big picture, its for the best. Y/n has been such a perfect little girl, and I loved taking care of her. Honey, don't beat yourself over that. Yes, those ruffians weren't supposed to hurt her this badly- poor baby had her ribs bruised, but thank god they weren't broken. But you took care of them, didn't you? There isn't any evidence? Good boy. No, she doesn't hate you, Dabi. She's your sister- she'll come around. Family always sticks together, no matter what." Rei continued to talk, while you tried to process what the fuck you'd just heard.
Dabi- Rei, they both knew the bullies. No, they fucking orchestrated the whole thing. They set you up to get attacked by those shits.
What the fuck?
"College? No, don't even get me started on that. Of course, I'm not letting her go. Yeah well your father doesn't want to let her go, but he cant resist anything she says when she insists. But I'm sure I'll be able to convince him that you're not safe out there because of the incident. If he doesn't get on board with keeping Y/n at home, I'm sure... another "little scare" can change his mind."
You weren't breathing, your heart beating fast as you tried to deny what she meant by "another little scare".
She was going to hurt you again.
Your mind was screaming at you to get out of the house right now, and you began backing away, eyes so fixated on the door that you didn't manage to see the vase you knocked over behind you.
That was when you heard her stop talking and you made a break for it, hissing for a moment as a shard jabbed into your foot.
"Y/N STOP!' you didn't. And as your hand reached for the door knob, your entire body suddenly felt cold. You looked down and saw your body had been encased in ice.
And when you looked back, ready to see the monster you called your mother, you were hit on the head and knocked out.
2 weeks had passed, you guessed the time when Rei would bring you food. Its not like you had your phone or a clock to check the time, no. Rei had decided to lock you up in the basement, taking away your phone and the only thing you had down here to keep you entertained was throwing the food Rei brought you, a small feeling of satisfaction growing in you whenever you saw her frown at the mess. You thought that was what would have upset her more- you not eating her food and wasting it. But it was actually you not talking to her that got to her.
You had stopped talking to her the moment you woke up in the basement and yelled at her how messed up she is for hurting her own child. What else were you supposed to say? You'd already heard everything, and everything after that were lies Rei tried to feed you to convince you that she and Dabi hadn't deliberately set you up to hurt you.
Rei was getting desperate for you to talk to her. She tried cooking your favourite meals, but that failed. She tried cuddling you, but you flinched away. She even tried to get her kids to talk to you, but that didn't work either when you realised that they weren't going to help you get out of here either. She'll never forget the look of betrayal you displayed when Shotou said that it'd be best for everyone if you just stayed at home instead of going to college.
She decided to get you some books from the library. You always fancied reading, so maybe that'll get her on your good side again.
At the library though, Rei found a section for herself too.
"Self Help"
She walked in that aisle and a book caught her eye. She pulled it out and began reading it.
3 hours later, Rei had diagnosed you with depression.
Which then lead her to a day of researching what she could do to cure your "depression", and she went down the rabbit hole, reading article after article until she found something she hadn't already tried.
And then she did.
At the beginning of the third week was when you had began wondering when Enji would be returning.
Would he even help me?
You shake your head. Of course, he would. He has to. He's your only hope to escape from this hell hole.
You were busy imagining how Enji would react to finding his family locking you up like a bunch of psychopaths when the door to the basement opened and Rei walked in. She had already given you lunch an hour ago so you didn't really know why she was here again. God you hoped it wasn't because she wants to tell you more lies again.
You laid back on the mattress she had so generously provided you with, covering yourself with the cover as you turned your head away from her, refusing to even look at her.
"Y/n, sweetie, I- I know I haven't been the best mother. But I really do want the best for you, even if it makes you hate me. When you're in pain, so am I, baby. But you know it, don't you? No pain, no gain." You rolled your eyes so hard at that. What the fuck is she up to now?
"Which is why, this is gonna hurt me way more than it will hurt you. Stay still, honey." Rei whispered before flipping you on your back, quickly encasing your limbs in ice before climbing over you and sitting on your stomach.
If you weren't terrified already, you sure felt your heart drop when you saw what she'd pulled out from behind her.
An ice pick and a hammer.
"M-mom! What are you doing? Please stop, you're hurting me!" Fuck not talking to her, she's gonna kill you.
Rei patted your head gently and cooed. "Shh, its okay sweetie. Mama knows you're depressed and I've found a way to help you." Depressed? I'm not depressed. What the hell is she on about-
You shake your head. "I'm not depressed, mom! I'm okay now! Perfectly fine. You don't need to kill me, I swear I won't tell anyone anything. Not even Dad!"
She just hummed, continuing to wipe the sweat of your forehead with a rag. "You know I read in some articles that this procedure will make you happier, reduce your agitation and anxiety, make you less tense, even get rid of those nightmares, if done right!"
If done right? If?
You gulped, eyes fixated on the ice pick that Rei was cleaning. "What- what procedure?" She smiled down at you.
"A lobotomy."
You don't think you've ever screamed this loud.
Upstairs, Dabi had just walked inside the house to drop of his clothes for Rei to wash when he heard your scream. He ran towards the basement, burning down the door when he found it locked, the sight in front of him was something he'd only ever seen in horror movies.
Rei was on top of you, one hand holding an ice pick over the inner corner of your eye while her other arm was raised in the air, holding hammer.
For a brief second they both looked back at him, and thats when he saw the petrified, horror-stricken look on your face.
"Dabi, HELP ME!" You begged, sobs wracking your body as you tried to deny the fact that you were about to die.
But he was frozen. Not because of Rei, no she turned her attention back to you, no Dabi was frozen because he couldn't wrap his mind around what he was seeing.
Was mom about to kill you?
"DABI HELP!"
Heart sinking at the thought, Dabi practiacally flew down the stairs to pull Rei off you. But he was a second too late, air leaving his lungs as he heard a sickening crack. He shoved his mother off you, and looked at your face.
It was emotionless. Mouth agape, eyes wide open with the right one bleeding.
Were you dead?
Dabi didn't wanna check- he didn't want to risk knowing you were. So he scooped you up in his arms ever so gently, throat closing up with the way your head hung limply over his arm, but he was quick to tuck your head to his chest.
He ran up the stairs while Rei babbled on about how you were finally cured, before breaking down into sobs but Dabi's main priority was you at that moment. And just as he opened the front door, there stood Enji, his face turning to confusion when he saw the tears on Dabi's face, before his eyes followed down to where you were, your head turned away from him and your body way to still for him to sense was very wrong.
"Y/n?" Enji called out, as he turned your head towards him, brushing the hair out of your face. His blood running cold when he saw your lifeless face, a trail of crimson flowing out of your eye. He looked back at Dabi, who was having a hard time breathing and when he heard Rei's wails from inside the house, Enji connected the dots.
"Get in the car, right now." He ordered Dabi, rushing towards the drivers seat while Dabi settled in the back seat with you. He'll deal with Rei later, but he needs to get you to the hospital right now.
And perhaps for a rare occasion it was when both the father and son had the same thought running through their mind in that moment.

Ever since your son was little he had a fascination with heroes just like everyone else. Favorites came and go, but there was one your son absolutely adored. The BMI hero Fatgum. He would talk for hours about how he wanted to be just like him, even when he played hero with the other kids on the playground he wanted to be FatGum. It warmed your heart to seem him adore such a hero that he even became your favorite hero.
When your son's birthday was close and all he asked for was anything FatGum related, but this year you were gonna try to go above and beyond a little action figure. You called your long standing friend and hero Rumi. To not only invite her to your son's birthday, but to ask FatGum if he was willing to attend even if it was for an hour. It took a bit for her to get back to you, but when he agreed you were ecstatic and continued to plan for this very big and very special day.
When the day finally arrived your house was decorated in your son's favorite hero colors, presents piled in the living room, and kids ran under adults feet playing heroes. Your son was having the time of his life, but you knew it was only gonna get better. Your door bell rang, and you were quick to get it. Standing in the door way was Rumi and Fatgum a big smile plastered on both of their faces.
"Haru! Your favorite aunt is here!" Rumi yelled walking past you to the little one. You giggled then turned back to other hero. "I'm very happy you were able to make it. My son is a HUGE fan." Rubbing the back of his neck with a slight blush Fatgum chuckled "Well it was pleasure I always try to make time for my fans."
Taishiro knew he was invited because your son was a fan, but when he saw the little guys mom he wanted to stick around longer. She was something out of a fairy tale for him. All dolled up but casual, a little chub that made her look soft and cuddly, and that smile oooh that smile. He was floored from the moment you opened the door. When he walked into the house he heard the loudest gasp as if it was their last breath. When he turned to the source he saw a little boy that had a majority of your features.
"You must be the birthday boy!" He kneeled down so he didn't look as intimidating to the little guy. In an instant the little boy came sprinting, trying his best to wrap his arms around the big hero. "My hero came to my birthday!" He let go to quickly turn to you "Mommy! Fatgum actually came to my birthday party!!" You giggled and nodded "he sure did sweetie! A little birdie must of told him." You winked at Fatgum as your son bounced up and down from excitement. "I have to go tell everyone!" He yelled already bolting towards the living room.
After the party he wasted no time texting you.
The birthday party went really well. Fatgum showed off a bit to you for the kids, relaxed, even got some of your delicious homemade cake for himself, amajiki, and kirishima, and the best part of all?? You gave him your number by the end of it. You told him it was so you can speak payment, but your flirtatious smile said other wise. God you were something else, and he couldn't wait to find out more about you.
He waited till everyone left to finally approach you. With clammy hands, and a blush that put kiri's hair to shame he cleared his throat to get your attention. When you turned to him with that smile he already adored he almost forgot what he was gonna ask! "I was wonderen in you an' the little one would like to have a picnic at the park tomorrow...?"
A blush of your own creeps on cheeks as your process his invitation. THE fatgum was asking you out on a date?? A single mother?? Before you could fully process you nodded your head. "Great! I'll pick you and the little one up tomorrow at lunch." And with a goodbye, and teary eyed hug from Haru he left your small house feeling more excited then ever.
The wait felt longer the Tai cared to admit, but when Noon finally rolled around he was at your doorstep dressed casually, but nice, and basket full of goods in his hand. When the door opened up he was greeted with the cutest sight. There you stood with a cute (f/c) sundress that hugged your chub just right, with your son on your hip wearing cute playing cloths. God was everything you did so perfect??
"Ready?" You giggled. Taishiro cleared his throat and nodded giving his arm out for you to take. Anyone who noticed the three of you would have mistaken you for a family. You and your son listened intently to everything he had to say, you letting out the occasional giggle as Ti exaggerated so parts just to see the look of pure aw on your sons face.
When you all reached the park he picked out your son was quick to drag Tai to the playground. He was hesitant at first, but you gave him a warm smile with a soft "I'll set it up for us." And the next thing he knew he was playing Heroes with Haru. Well more like he was the villain while Haru was Fatgum and "beat the evil villain with his amazing power!" Haru's words.
Watch the spectacle in front of you made you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. It's been while since Haru and a good male figure in his life. You shook you head of those thoughts. It was too soon to think of something like that. It is afterall the first date, who's to say there will be another one.
"Lunch is ready boys!" In a instant the two were and "racing" each other to you. When haru latched on to your leg he turned to Taishiro with the biggest grin "I won!" Ti chuckled and ruffled his hair "You sure did! Gosh! Before I know it your gonna be the fastest hero!" As Haru detached himself from your leg Tai bent down cover the side of his mouth and got close to your son "just don't tell Hawkes I said that." The little boy giggles as he runs to the spot next to you for lunch.
Tai sat on your other side as you began to hand out the food to them. "Thank you for playing with him" Tai smiled while taking the plate you handed him "course! The little guy is a blast." The two of you talked while Haru ate, and the more the two of you talked the more drawn he was to you. You are a strong woman for raising the little guy on your own with little to no complaint. Quirk or not you were a hero in his eyes. "I don't know if it means much coming from little ol' me, but I think your doing a fantastic job."
Shock and a blush adorned your face at his words. Though he was happy to see it; it also worried him. Has no one ever said something like that you?? Despite how hard you work to raise him??
You cleared your throat trying to stop the ever growing blush "...thank you." He smiled, and the three of your continued you lunch in a comfortable silence. The three of you stayed at the park for a bit longer playing, and being around each other he even told you his actual name! However, you noticed it was nearly 4, and you still had some shopping to take care of.
You called Ti over as you began to pack "I'm sorry to cut this short Toyomitsu, but me and Haru have some shopping to take care." He was sadden by your departure, but not as sad as Haru.
"But mama! I was stay and play with Fatgum some more!" He pouted as he crossed his arms. You kneeled down to the boy and gently cupped his face "don't worry my love we might see him again...right?" You didn't want to sound desperate, but you had such a connection with the the BMI hero that you couldn't help but hold out hope to see him again.
The biggest brightest smile you have ever seen grace Taishiro's face "of course! I would love to see you both again." Haru cheered then quickly helped back everything else back up. You stood up, and walked over to Taishiro. You signaled him to bend down a bit, and when he did you kissed his cheek "text me for our next date." He stood shocked for a moment before that bright smile from before graced his features once more. "I will lil mama."

You move back to the kitchen, trying to figure out what you have that will make an even half way satisfying dinner. Fuck, itâs been weeks since you were able to get to the shops. **Breaking news: We have yet another report to add to the slew of attacks this month, this comes just days after we broadcast rumours of villains running rampant over the city. This spate of attacks has put the entire metropolitan area at a standstill, road closures and damaged property making it difficult for commuters to get to work in the morning. Road maintenance endeavour to do its best to keep the city running, but it seems futile when these attacks continue to increase. The entire city was brought to a standstill by the mysterious villain who has still not been named, but reports show they are nothing like we have ever experienced before.**
**One thing we know for sure: we can no longer rely on Heroes to protect us. The streets of our once-great city are no longer safe, we are no longer safe.**

Itâs not apocalyptic outside yet, but you donât want to turn the risk of getting mugged, or worse. Whatever you need can wait until tomorrow though, you think, stepping into your bathroom to shower, put on some makeup for your stream.

You pick plain clothes, a little form fitting so people canât grab you, but loose enough to move in if you have to run. You keep your head down as you lock your door behind you, moving with quick, sure steps. The store is out of a few things but you manage to stock up on essentials for another few weeks. You did it, thank fuck, nobody even hassled you that much.
Right when you slip your key into the door is where it all goes wrong.
âDonât scream,â the voice behind you is low, and despite your better instincts you listen. âOpen the door and I wonât hurt you.â
Yet, you think but obey anyways. Thereâs a presence behind you, large and overly looming. A large hand drops onto your shoulder right when you hear the door shut. Thereâs something digging into your shoulder and a quick, darting glance reveals- claws?

You stumble forward in an attempt to get away, twisting your body around. Itâs a nightmare come true- not just a villain in your home but one of the worst ones. Heâs so much larger in real life than you thought he would be. So much more intimidating when you finally meet his red eyes.

The last thing you see before you faint is his hands coming towards you.

Your room is too dark, save for the open laptop on your desk. Your arms are tied to your desk chair, legs as well. You can see him in the room, but you know he has to be there. Nothing appears to have been taken. You have no idea whatâs going on, until he steps back into view.

He continues on without you anyways, âYou should. It was only last night when you said what you want from me.â He steps to the side, allowing you to see whatâs on your computer now.

Youâre still clothed, but you can feel the heat of him through it. How is he so warm? He shifts forwards even more, a hand coming up to hold your jaw, showing you off to the screen. You feel even more naked than during your actual streams. You feel exposed, every nerve like a livewire beneath your skin.
âI could kill you, you know,â His voice sounds almost detached, like heâs bored with the situation, âI think they would like that.â The grip on your jaw tightens. âYou can already see what they want me to do to you, how they want me to defile you. Thereâs almost nobody concerned with your safety now.â
Your eyes strain as you take in the chat, blinking back tears as you realize heâs right. Thereâs nobody asking you if youâre alright now- only demands, promises to pay whatever the cost is if Gang Orca will only get the show on the road. You wonder why the site hasnât automatically shut down your stream, after all one of the most notorious villains is right there, begging to be caught.
Until you catch sight of how many people are watching.
âYouâre too popular to turn off,â Thereâs a hint of something sad in his voice, regret mixed with a fondness you canât place. Itâs like he expected this, like this is all going according to plan. âThey donât want to shut down whatâs making them money hand over fist.â
You hate to acknowledge that heâs right. The stupid fish fuck is exactly on the mark. The site takes a portion of your donations, and the amount itâs at right now isnât just your own personal record, itâs a sitewide one. Thereâs no way theyâll shut you down, try to get you help. Not when thereâs still money to be made.
âDonât you see?â His voice tickles your ear as he whispers into it. You donât want to see. Itâs like you can predict what he will say next. You donât want him to confirm it, to confirm the worst fears inside of you.
âItâs not just the villains that are bad,â Between his arms and his voice you can almost forget that it feels like the whole world is watching you now, watching this corruption. âIâm evil, but at least Iâm honest. I wonât touch you unless you ask me to. How many of them can say that?â
Heâs right, of course he is. How else could the world get this bad? Someone along the way stopped caring, and then another, until there were more eyes looking away than could be helped. Easier to ignore the wrong and look out for number one, after all isnât that what you had been doing?
âJoin me,â he breathes, âBe free.â
You donât hesitate, not now. You let the next two words slip from your mouth not without thought, but free from it. The last tether of your sanity snaps.
âKiss me.â Itâs a plea, one he obeys with a vicious grin. His mouth presses to yours.

A/n: so reality punched me in the stomach right after I made my schedule so thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy! I tried to make it as soft as possible especially since I feel like weâve talk about doing some of this stuff with him!
Kugo was never really busy. Yes he was one of the top 20 heroes, yes he was a good leader and yes he was able to effective and efficiently defeat villains but he mostly reside with where the children were as a teacher.
But recently the commission had called on him for a big mission where they needed his guidance and leadership....so he left for 2 months
And came back tired, rugged and with promises of spending the whole day with just you tomorrow; finally a day off.
So when you awoke in his arms, his head nestled on yours and little rumbles vibrating his chest with each breath, youâre tucked back to sleep. His presence in itself signified comfort
When you did wake up again later, you both decided that you would pick something up for brunch and then go to the beach
âKugo, you gotta let me go if weâre going to get our day startedââ
âBut I missed you darling. Your face, your scent, your touch and your warmth, You are my home and i would like to be reminded that Iâm home so please.....allow me five more minutes.â
You kiss his snoot, resulting in happy Orca noises. âYouâre home Kugoâ
After that you noticed that Kugo was a bit more clinger than normal, throwing subtly signs that he wanted you by his side. But he wasnât one for PDA because of the image he had to keep up.
So to satisfy his need for physical touch and lovin from you, you guys opted for a inside date...in the bed.
And it was only because you were so warm and he was so warm and neither one of you wanted to leave each otherâs arms, relishing in the skin to skin contact that you lacked for two months.
Which led to the suggestion of a nice bath with candlesđ„°and epsom saltsđ„°and naturally he agreed so without warning he scoops you into his arms with ease causing you let out surprise giggles. He would only let you down after he set everything up which you would think would be hard with someone in your arms but he did it so easily and effortlessly.
As you climb into the bathtub, his eyes trace over your body, taking in every curve, stretch Mark, birthmark, scar etc, and mentally cherishing every part of you because they make you, you and you are everything to him.
He kisses your shoulders lightly.
âYouâre so beautifulâ
He soaks your hair, finger combing through it and braiding it back and out of your face and after, you turn around to massage his shoulders and lather them with soap.
There was a peaceful silence that surrounded you as you finished your actions and got out the shower .
When you get tinto the bed, takeout is ordered and Netflix is turned on. His hand strokes your back in circles and when you relax once more into his grip, he nuzzles your face.
The duality of Kugo was crazy. The way society saw him as this cold hearted, "evil" hero when in reality he was actually so kind and warm and understanding and patient and....warm.
Oh so very warm.
His cuddles always soothed you into a lull and this time was no different. Your eyes drooped, a struggle between your mental and physical self.
But Looking at Kugo was the last straw because he, himself, was sleep and you could tell that this was the first real sleep that he's had since he left.
You couldnât help but smile softly at his sleeping form before turning off Netflix which was as much as you could in tight grip.
So Snuggling impossibly closer into Kugoâs embrace, you drift off into a cozy dreamless sleep, the doorbell a background noise.
