Just got the call that the CT machine is back up and ready to roll. Joint tap came back with astronomical levels of white blood cells which is a good sign of an infection at the implant. Dropping him off now for surgery to remove the implant and a Scan in the AM...might pick him up Thursday if all is well. A moment of genius hit me this morning as I started prepping for Mac's big adventure to the surgeon today. Since his knee first blew in February he has developed a huge fear of tile floors which are in EVERY vet office 😩 So it's been hard taking him into appointments where he can't find a rug to sit on. But no more of that!
