Realized the reason I'm taking this job rejection so hard is it legitimately feels like I've been broken up with. Like I work at a place for nearly two years, fall in love with the people there and the job itself, and then get completely rejected and shut out. I was envisioning my entire career until retirement in this place. Proverbial wedding bells. And then kicked to the curb. It's so embarrassing to feel like this over a fucking entry level job dude
