The Runaways

This roleplay group is based off a few teens that are just out of their comfort zone in one spot, and chose to travel and ride in Tripp's van. I guess you could compare these young teenagers to hippies, but they live like a free soul and nothing can stop them as they pick up more and more friends each travel.

Brief Bio: To have a carefree, and honest friend to tell you how it is, and defend you, Ronnie was great to play the part. She was always picky about her crowd though, and didn't just talk to anyone. Her past is a bit dark, and she has a lot of secrets that no one knows about her. Ronnie is very sneaky and secretive, she keeps everything to herself. Unlike other girls, Ronnie doesn't go talking about her feelings. She'd rather write them down and read them later. To her, that helped her release many emotions. 

About 2 months ago is when Ronnie was sent to Central Falls.She was completely against the idea, and didn't see any reason why she deserved to go to that over getting home one night from the cops. Her parents didn't believe to give her another chance. Her parents did make one mistake though, they let her travel there alone. Let's be honest here, Ronnie didn't go to Central falls, she went out and ran away, somewhere she could be herself and not have to worry. It wasn't long till she came across two teenagers in a van riding down a long country road out of Georgia, and decided to tag along.

Brief Bio: Being so young, Parker did remember a lot of the words his parents shared with one another, and they weren't good ones. At the age of seven, Parker's parents divorced, and Parker was left with his abusive father. Growing up, Parker and his father never got along, since his father was such a mean parent. He would get mad at Parker over everything, and didn't see anything Parker did as right. He got his personality from his father, being aggressive, short tempered and hot headed. He didn't like the fact that he was that way and he tried his hardest not to grow up like his father, or to treat a woman the way Parkers father treated his mom. 

When Parker was 14 he found his first true love, Lily Milligan. The two dated for about two years and claimed to love one another. Parker promised he would treat Lily with respect and love, which he did. He didn't want to lose her, since he pictured them growing old together. Two years later, Parker and Lily started to grow distant. Parker didn't know why till a few months later. She had been seeing a college boy, many years older than her, behind Parkers back. This killed him inside and out. Ever since Parker found out about the college crush of Lily's he hasn't had a serious relationship, and has had serious trust issues. 

Parker was also a brother to a young girl named Willa. The two had always got along, since they never saw eye to eye with their parents. When Parker turned 17 he got his own van and him and his sister Willa decorated it, and made it like a mini house. The two got together one day and thought about running away together, maybe never stop. That was Willa's exact words, and Parker didn't disagree. The two had a few friends they talked to about it and made their first adventure on the open road.

Reason for Enrollment: Miranda wanted to be sent away to Central Falls to escape being made fun of at school for being straight-forward without thinking about consequences.

Brief Bio: Miranda is your typical sixteen year old who's straight-forwardness and lack or brain to mouth filter left her more often than not in trouble. As a child it started off with small things like telling her parents that dinner was disgusting because it looked like vomit or that the friendship bracelet her friend made her was ugly because she hated the color. Things like that weren't so bad, her family and friends could over look them since they knew that it wasn't something she could help. Instead everyone blew it off, choosing to focus on the artistic witty Miranda. Life went on that way and Miranda never realized that being so up front was a problem not until recently anyway.

Now at the age of sixteen Miranda James was desperate to go Central Falls Boarding School after an incident at school that left the teen in tears. Being the gullible teenager she was Miranda believed one of the older students when they had told her about her best friend talking about her behind her back. It wasn't true at the time but she didn't know that so she confronted her friend about it being more harsh then necessary. No matter how much the friend denied it and tried to settle her down the ruder Miranda got. After the blow up at school she had learned that it was a lie but since she was so harsh about her friend decided to do just that spreading hurtful information about the teen. Everyday after that students would whisper whenever she was around, taunt her for being such a harsh friend and left her begging to get sent to a boarding school to start over.

Name: Foster Wilks | Playby: Francisco Lachowski | Age: 17

Reason for Enrollment: His jealousy led him to practically stalk his friends and classmates. It became too much that his parents noticed his behavior and sent him away. After all out of sight, out of mind.

Brief Bio: Foster hadn't always been the jealous type, in fact when he was a child he couldn't have cared less as to what other kids had that he didn't. It wasn't until his early teens where things started to change. If a group of kids from his school where going to the carnival he had to go both nights not just the one, or if his best friend won an award he'd strive to win the same one. If you think that's a typical teenage trait, you're right, that it until he got a girlfriend. Things were good at first since the two couldn't get enough time to spend with each other, that they were nearly inseparable. Like all young romances the two broke up just to end up going back out. Only when they were 'on a break' Foster jealousy was at high.

So when that relationship finally came to an end Foster was beyond himself. He still cared for and when he found out she was dating one of his friends to say he was jealous would be an understatement. Foster became border line obsessive with his constant calling both his friend and his ex. Occasionally showing up where the two would be out together and sometimes he'd bump into them at the movies and insist on sitting between them. It became too much that his parents noticed his behavior and sent him away. After all out of sight, out of mind.

Reason for Enrollment: Her aggressive behavior became to be too much for her parents when she nearly drowned her younger sister while trying to win a pool game.

Brief Bio: Willa being the oldest of two children had always put her first. In her eyes she paved the way for her younger sister because if it wasn't for Willa then their parents would still be the 'naïve how to be a good parent' follower. However, like many of us know the baby of the family often gets the better treatment and Willa had grown tired being overlooked. Just because her sister was simply younger, leaving her dependent on their parents didn't make her the better child. Taking it upon herself to prove to her parents that once and for all Willa, the older more independent child was the best.

It wasn't that Willa didn't love her sister, she was just tired of the fuss being made over her small achievements. So once summer rolled in and there was need to 'get the better grade' the two got along well. It often found themselves watching movies, making snakes, lounging in the pool and on the weekends when their parents were home they would be back to competing over their attention. Which is when Willa taking things too far kept pushing her sister under the water without giving her proper time to get air.

Reason for Enrollment: The State stepped in and pulled Justin out of Foster Care to send him to Central Falls when he nearly killed his foster  father.

Brief Bio: Growing up in Foster Care left a long lasting impression on Justin. It wasn't the action of being tossed around from home to home that left him feeling cynical, it was the different circumstances that he saw. If he wasn't get verbally abused for spilling milk or on some occasions smiling, then he was witnessing physical abuse. Things never got physical  toward him, it was always between spouses or other foster children in the house but Justin had always been good avoid it. That is until he turned eighteen.

Now that Justin's old enough to be taken out of the system started to get involved in the abuse happening around him. At first he was the target of a slap her or a beer bottle being thrown at his head, but the first time any sever violence came his way he fought back. Not just did he fight back for himself, but he fought back for some of the other foster kids who couldn't. The last time he fought back he nearly killed his foster father and finally the state stepped in, removing from the Foster Care system was the first step. Since he was still in school and had no where to go the state looked into Boarding School's.

Reason for Enrollment: Chad got caught selling drugs out of the boy's bathroom. His parents had enough of the school's constant complaining as to how much trouble he was and finally desired perhaps a Boarding school would make a difference.

Brief Bio: Chad wasn't the only boy that his parents had. He had an older brother who is 8 years older than him. Chad noticed from the start that his brother was the favorite out of them two. Chad, having a modest attitude, didn't really pay any mind to it. He did his own thing and ignored it. But, the fact of his parents wanting his older brother to do everything, made Chad have a lot of free time. He'd go out, with his bag and just walk down the street, hoping for something to do. It wasn't long till the wrong crowd drew him in. 

Chad got involved with drugs, some hard drugs also. His parents knew about it, but honestly could care less about his actions. They figured Chad wouldn't turn out like his successful brother, and Chad didn't try to be. He started to sell drugs at his high school and had reckless behavior. He was the typical student that got phone calls from the school every week about something different, and it wasn't good phone calls. It was about 10 months ago when Chad drew the line for his parents and got caught at school selling drugs. They were tired of his careless behavior and shipped him to Central Falls, maybe not to see him again.

Reason for Enrollment: Joclyn was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got tied in with a few students stealing a copy of test answers. When her parents didn't believe her, especially since she was expelled from school, they shipped her to Central Falls.

Brief Bio: Growing up her whole life, Joclyn tried to be the perfect girl, for anyone. It being her parents, her family, or even her friends, she just wanted them to look at her in a great way. Joclyn was a bit insecure, which made her try to hard to be something she wasn't. She didn't exactly win her way through high school, since she was a part of a secret group with about 5 or so other students in it. This group of kids stole the test answers so they could make it through their high school years. Joclyn didn't like doing it, since she was a loyal person and tried her hardest to stick to her word, but when she got a A or B on a test, her parents were so proud of her, and she loved the feeling. 

It wasn't long till someone got caught, out of the secret group. They also ratted out Joclyn and a few others. This made Joclyn get expelled from school, but she made her parents believe different. She said it was a false accusation about a bomb threat that was written as a joke. In high school, parents are aware that kids don't think their actions through, but Joclyn was already expelled. They believed her reasoning and went on with their day. Later when Joclyn started to go back to school the next year, the group started all over again, and this time, they all got caught red handed. Joclyn's parents didn't believe it was a false accusation this time, and knew that something fishy was going on with her. So they sent her off to Central Falls hoping she'd learn her lesson.

Reason for Enrollment: Adam's parents are always traveling and aren't comfortable leaving him at home alone unsupervised after the last time, when he was found by the neighbor passed out from too much partying and alcohol consumption on the their front lawn. They threatened to cut him off from money if he didn't agree to go to Central Falls.

Brief Bio: Adam has always been a star in his path. Always having someone linked to him, never being seen alone. Yeah, you could say he was known as popular. Adam was your typical jock. Confident, ditsy, forgetful, wanting the nerds to do his homework, and getting any girl he pleased with a cheesy pick up line. Knowing so many people, Adam's friends always nagged him about having a big party. It would be known as the party of the year, Adam thought. Since he came from old money, and had all the money in the world to do it, but he was a good kid, to an extent. 

Adam's parents went out one weekend for a vacation for their anniversary. Them trusting Adam, since he hasn't done wrong, they had no hesitation on letting him have the house for the weekend. That Friday at school, Adam couldn't stop hearing people say he was having a party. He had no clue about it, but his friends started the rumor. After telling his friends it wasn't happening because his parents would kill him, the simplest words made Adam want the party to happen. "Stop being a pus, and do something fun, bro." That was the draw line for Adam. The whole weekend there wasn't nothing but drunk, and high teenagers in and out of Adam's house. Loud music made the neighbors complain, but not thinking about the consequences, Adam didn't care. Monday, when his parents came home, they weren't happy, and didn't even give Adam a second chance, and off to Central Falls he went.

Reason for Enrollment: Drea was charged with shoplifting and the state made a deal with her parents, to attend Central Falls Boarding School.

Brief Bio: Drea has never shoplifted anything she didn't need. If her mother actually got a job instead of depending on her father's part time salary, then the eighteen year old wouldn't have to steal things.  Drea was caught shoplifting twice before as a minor, one of those times had been for her mother, but this time around she was charged as an adult. If Drea can straighten out and go without any known thefts at the boarding school since they provide everything she may need then her record will be cleared.

Reason for Enrollment: Gage got caught destroying his neighbors shed and nearly set it on fire. After getting caught red handed he continued to deny any involvement. His parents grew tired of his behavior and off he went.

Brief Bio: Growing up in school, Gage wasn't exactly the star of the football team, or the leader of the mathletes. He was more of an outcast. He would sit at the lunch table by himself, hearing the laughter from the jocks picking on him, and he'd just glance around not taking in what they said about him. Being quite also, Gage kept his comments to himself and didn't pick fights with the other students at his school for bullying him, or trying to tear him down. 

After he'd come home from school, Gage would have, what his parent's liked to call his "temper tantrums" where Gage would just go and dystroy whatever he got his hands on. It was from how he would hold in all his anger from the comments people would make about him at school. It was a while that Gage's parents put up with it till he took it to far, and almost destroyed something on his neighbors property. With the neighbor threatening to sue the Martinez family for Gage's compulsive behavior, they made a deal with the neighbor of sending Gage to a boarding school where he could come back as a new healthy and happy teenager.

Reason for Enrollment: Rebecca got caught stealing hundreds of dollars from her mothers lock box in their closet. It wasn't the first time it happened, and her mothers didn't think they could deal with it anymore.

 Brief Bio: Rebecca is seventeen years old and hasn't had the best life as a teenager that she wanted. When she was younger, about 2 years old she was in a foster home till she was 9. It wasn't long till two women came to the orphanage and decided to adopt Rebecca. Now, 8 years later, Rebecca has been having a down fall about her birth mother. A few months back, she had came in contact with her over the internet. Rebecca didn't know if it was a good idea to keep it from her mom's or not, but she did. 

Rebecca had been stealing money from her guardians for about two years and giving it to her birth mother to help her. Little did Rebecca know, her mother wasn't using the money to pay for rent, food, or electricity but for things to fill her drug addiction. Will Rebecca keep up with giving her mother money, and falling for her sympathy games, or will she catch on?
