I mean this with love because I know we are on the same side here, but I’m exhausted by people reblogging this with “PERCY JACKSON IS BETTER!!!” because maybe it is, I don’t know! But the audience I’m talking to on this website is mostly adults who can choose whatever they want to read and I think some of y’all would benefit from reading a book for adults. By all means buy Percy Jackson for your nephew or whatever, that’s a nice alternative, but if you’re a fully grown up human I fear I gotta mention that there are more books than fantasy series for middle schoolers out there.

Haleiwa and Waialua are currently evacuated because the 120 year old dam is at risk of bursting

Mind you that damn is owned by Dole. Theyve known about it needing to be fixed for years and years and years. Despite having more than enough money they refuse
