I unfortunately have come to the conclusion that no one will truly understand me in the way I want them to.

In the way I crave another wolf’s teeth on my nape, the intertwining of tails, brushing wingtips against one another’s, a gentle chuff as we bathe in the sunlight, paws outstretched, in the chase of a pack, butting shoulders together as we run.

I love the people in my life so dearly. But they will never understand me in the way I want them to. And honestly?

That aches. It tugs on my heart and my soul.

I’m not meant to be here in this way, and it shows.

I like being around humans that won’t make fun of me for making sounds that are animal like in nature

I can whimper for attention and I get asked if I’m okay and I get pet or head rubs

I can bark/woof and be given the same back

I can paw at someone and they’ll smile like they do at puppies and ask if I need anything

I can meow back at my cats and purr without being judged

I can run and play and it’s super nice

With people like that.. I can actually be myself without feeling worry or shame and I enjoy it a lot

had to learn it the hard way, but just because someone is part of the same communities and/or fandoms you are also part of doesn't mean this person is your friend and you should be in solidarity with them.

I know this isn't a very big problem at the moment but this still happens a lot. If someone likes the same things as you or has similar identities to yours they can still be a very dangerous/bad individual.

please take care and do not trust people for simply sharing a common thing with you. Many use this as a way to take advantage over you. Please be careful.
