Kupocon Follow-up

First, I want to start by saying, I love this community. The love and support you gave to this was amazing. We had so many people help out with this event, it will be hard to really tag everyone, so I apologize if I forget any tags specifically.  Kupocon was one of those, on the fly, out of the Sriracha Showdown hype, creations. It was something that could have been a hit or a miss, but boy, oh boy, was it a hit. The amount of people that came to this event was phenomenal. It is always impossible to get a headcount at these things, but there were 24 entries into the cosplay contest, and boy were they all so creative and amazing!

I want to start by thanking those very people, the attendees. You are all the backbone of the events and are what make these such a success, and worth hosting. The amount of energy the attendees pour into this is outstanding and is slowly becoming something that I am living for.

Next, I want to thank those who stepped up to help us in our time of need. Our amazing security, vendors, hosts, panelists, idols, and DJs. You brought life to this event that made it feel like an actual con. I woke up this morning with an absolute ‘morning after’ feel. You all have proven that our Data Center as a whole has kind of curated its own little culture of celebrities. It was great seeing some of them mingle. One of them was even cosplayed! 

The amount of effort put in by every one of you was astounding and blew me out of my seat over and over again. I will say love again. But the amount of love and details put into costumes, menus, panels, and music sets was beyond what I ever could have imagined. If anything, you guys have made me realize that I need to start doing some recording for these things! I said last time, that dreams came true, but man oh man, did lightning strike twice. You are all amazing~ Thank you to everyone for everything you contributed to making Kupocon a massive success. The impact this event had on me, is beyond words and I will always remember this. And a super, duper, omg, huge shout out to Araceli, for the amazing layout of the dealers room. Re-Opening of the Sea Dog’s Sway!  A homecoming of sorts and to his roots. Chef, Isilfyr Ankafyst has reopened his tavern in the Mist ward. Although the location is small, it’s a return to where he started and the food quality won’t suffer one bit for it. Still servin’ a fusion of Doman, Thavnairian and Limsan cuisine. Come down for a drink and a bite to eat! When: Tuesday, Sept. 10 @ 7:00pm EDT
