The “Log Off” protest is in response to the recent NSFW ban announced by Tumblr. The ban flags all content the filtering system detects as NSFW, reducing visibility to the community. The system has proven time and time again that is inefficient, oftentimes flagging SFW material as NSFW.
This SFW material includes art, memes and so on. This ban directly hurts the community and will not solve the actual problems at hand due to the poor flagging system. Because of this, the entire community will suffer.
So to respond, I propose that every user on Tumblr logs off of Tumblr for 24 hours on December 17th at 12 am EST.

This post responds to some very common questions about the protest. So make sure to read it over!
Humans are... very picky creatures, they would rather suffer than ask for help from someone that is not of their kind. So when the monsters were forced Underground, the seasons went crazy! Now there is no set time as to when the seasons change. This causes the humans to need as many people as possible to help out when there is a sudden season change.
This results in many jobs to be created such as; food gather, keeping people entertained during a storm, and so on. So jobs/roles are assigned to people as young as four years old. With roles being appointed, an easy way to tell who has what role, people are told that they should cut their hair if they have a winter or fall job. If you have a spring or summer job, then you are advised to cut your hair.
Much to the majority of humans’ displeasure, there is still magic in some people’s blood so of course over the generations it starts to become noticeable! It was prophesied by the four wizards that sealed the monsters away that after two hundred years, their magic will rise in a generation that will release monsters from the barrier.
Most have forgotten about this prophecy until one child unintentionally made a snowstorm suddenly disappear and replaced it with a fresh spring breeze. When it was found out what would give away the idea that someone may have ‘Season magic’ (which is their eyes), it was slightly easier to figure out who else had season magic, so they came up with a method. Once a month a child (or teen) will be pushed down the mountain and die, while the one to follow will be punished until they are forced down the mountain to suffer the same fate as the child before.
The order of the fallen: Yūkan, Rěnnài, Amana, Socca Elemer, Socca, Adira, Chara, then finally Frisk.
(Frisk and Chara are not on this post, they are currently being re-designed as you read this!)
First, let’s start off with Rěnnài: male, 4′3, 12-year-old who mainly helps in the spring district, his role is Caretaker he is to educate children what to do and what not to do. He chooses to stand up for Yūkan and stay with the people and have Yūkan pushed into the mountain in hopes that she will survive! His season magic is winter, so when he falls into the Underground, he lives in the winter area (Snowdin) with Grillby and his family working part-time to pay rent!
Next is, Yūkan who is a young girl of age 5 at the height of 3′11! She is given the role Food bringer meaning she is told to go and grab certain foods from the storage area of her district, which is summer! She was the one to start the chain of events and regrets it immediately and screams out to take Rěnnài’s place, but it was too late as she was already being pushed towards the mountain. When she falls, she is taken in by a group of Froggits and Whimsuns.
Amana is a young 5-foot, 10-year-old, girl, with the role to entertain, to help people forget about bad storms or just give a good show. She is transgender (Female ---> Male) but most don’t know. She is forced to wears a blindfold because she has rather peculiar eyes, but when it is discovered as to what meaning they hold. She realizes that she has summer magic. She is the next to be punished after Rěnnài falls. Once she is forced underground, she ends up living in hotland and making various appearances on Mettaton’s show.
Adira is a 5′4, 15-year-old who’s role is to be a teacher, as to what your role may entail as to what they want to teach (it’s kinda a free for all). Adria’s season magic is autumn magic, so once she falls into the underground, she goes live with Undyne in Waterfall. However, she is within the winter tribe at the time. Socca does attempt to take her place so that she doesn’t get any injuries, but she makes sure that doesn’t happen. Once she’s down under the mountain, she goes around and makes sure that the other fallen ones are okay (and scolds Socca).
Socca is 5′4(½), 16-year-old, transgender (male ---> female) cook! He is slightly chubbier, so the role was cook or chef! He mainly works for the spring season, but she has the Spring AND Summer season magic! He does request to trade places with Elemer so that the said male take any injuries, while he does know that’ll mean more pain for him, he doesn’t want to see someone he cares for getting hurt (not when he can do something about it). He actually tries to trade places with Adira but, said women makes the village change their minds at the last minute so that Socca still goes under the mountain. Once he does fall down, he goes and works for Grillby’s as a cook!
Elemer is a 5′7, 13-year-old, male, Guard for the Autumn tribe! He is someone who is suppose to die for the village, he was supposed to get punished after Socca goes under the mountain but is mortified when he’s informed that Socca takes his place, meaning he’s going under the mountain while Socca takes another month of torture! So during the time Socca is on the surface, while he’s underground, it comes to his attention that he may have a small (BIG) crush on the chubby male female! So when Socca does fall down, Elemer is by his side in seconds, thankful that they’re still breathing! While he does have fall AND Winter magic he follows Socca everywhere, so he’s a bit of a bodyguard.
So idk if others have noticed this before - but it’s the first time I’m seeing this, hence the post.
There’s a website, https://www.photosugar.com, which apparently mirrors all pictures, gifsets etc. people post on their tumblrs (and also other social media sites like twitter and instagram, if I understand it correctly).

I got a reply consisting of the single word “removed” after just one day, and as you can see, it worked perfectly fine with the informal mail I sent. So if you want them to stop mirroring your tumblr, it seems all you really need to do is this.
I can’t test the site for all of my mutuals, but I’m tagging a few whom I found on there by random trial & error, and I suggest you look yourself up if you see this post and dislike tumblr mirrors (even if this one is only for pictures, not text).

Haza! We now have Undyne or ‘Aki.’ She favors the colder areas (such as Snowdin and Waterfall) over the warmer areas (Ruins and Hotland)! She has both of her eyes, thanks to the fact that the monsters retreated automatically when they felt threatened! She is Captin of the Royal Guard and second to be the caretaker of the Autumn area (waterfall), after Gerson!
Asriel or “Solis” He is alive and happily living with Toriel in the Spring area visiting is Father at least once every week! He has spring and Summer abilities, he is to be the next King of the Underground! He misses the sunlight but will happily turn it away if it means that the kingdom that he will rule is happy and safe.
Queen Toriel a.k.a. ‘Dahlia’ she is the Caretaker of the Spring area (the ruins) and the first monster humans meet when they are banished to the Underground. She is the current Queen of the Underground with her husband Asgore as the King! She is the voice of reason and makes sure everything is okay.
King Asgore or ‘Inti’ the current ruler of the underground, he is also the Summer Caretaker (Hotland). While he is mad at what the humans have done to monster kind, he refuses to declare war upon the humans. So when humans start to banish a group of human children to the underground he welcomes them with open arms!
I am SO sorry this blog is practically dead! So as an apology, here’s the skeleton family with updated appearance!
First up is Sans the skeleton (otherwise known as Blizzard)
Sans or Blizzard, he’s the oldest of the skeleton brothers. He is the second strongest winter monster in Snowdin! He had to pull his brother away from their parents ((mom)Helvetica and (dad)Times New Roman) dying grasp. As he got to his Uncle Dings, he had to tell him what happened with tears in his eyes. Since then, Sans has been very protective of his little brother.
Second is Papyrus the skeleton (also known as Snowflake)
Papyrus or Snowflake is the youngest of the skeleton family, but easily the most hyperactive of the bunch. While he misses his mom and dad, he’s happy with what he has and tries to make the best of any situation! He sees good in everything and does his best to show others that if they wait long enough, good will come around. Thanks to him, many monsters have yet to dust themselves.
Finally Gaster (also known as North Wind)
Wing Ding Gaster or ‘North Wind’ is the Caretaker of the Winter area (aka Snowdin). The start of his area is right out the Spring doors. He was once the royal scientist but had to take over the role of ‘Season Caretaker’ when his Brother dusted during the retreat to the mountain. When it came to decide where his brother’s sons would go he took them in and became their Big brother/Guardian.

Socca is 5′4(1/2), 16-year-old, transgender cook! He (or She) is slightly chubbier so the role was cook or chef! She mainly works for spring season but she has the Autumn AND Summer season magic! She does take the blow for Elmer and volunteers to stay behind while Elmer goes into the mountain. Once he does fall down he goes and works for Mettaton!

So a little bit of background on this pic
Goth had popped (how I don’t know) into Snowdin during a blizzard and quickly got covered in snow, Thankfully Snowstorm had heard his cries for help and went to rescue him, it was successful, the downside is that he got a nasty cold! So while the two are waiting for Geno or Death to come and pick him up Snowstorm decides to entertain him by showing Goth some of the things you can do with snow (with a touch of magic of course)!

See the humans are... weird, the majority of them HATE magic users so when the Wizards sealed the monsters underground, they were killed soon after! Which, of course, threw the seasons into chaos! Now there is no set time as to when the seasons change. So the humans need as many people to help as they can be it, getting food or keeping people entertained during a storm! so they are assigned (roles) at age 4. (Fun fact depending on the district that you help you are either told to cut your hair or grow it out (ie winter=long, summer=short)
However, there is still magic in some peoples blood so of course over the generations it starts to become noticeable! However, only 4 teenagers and 4 children are found (only two at a time not all of them are found at once!) When the pair is found the people decide who will fall down into the mountain and die (they are unaware that the monster are still alive) and who will stay behind to be ‘beat for their crimes’ as they put it. Once a month has passed (since they pushed the other person into the mountain) They fill push the one that stayed in the village into the mountain. Now onto the children!
