Mate, you’ve got a chubby lizard on your dashboard
I tried drawing random animals from memory in 2 minutes (based on a spilled ink video) but at the elephant I realised I'm really not good at it :'D So I ended up redrawing them with references just to see the difference, and ended up spending way too much time on it.

Are slugs a clade, or are they just a collection of unrelated and independently shell-less snails?
they aren't a clade because they share their Order with snails!
slugs are just snails that have wiggled out of their shells, which has happened many times independently in different snail lineages, as you said.
this is also true of sea slugs! there's like three separate orders worth of these things
basically, it's just really easy to be a gooey lump.

The Watering has begun! It is time to be Moist!
This is one of my favorite mammals to encounter in the wetlands: the small yet scrappy marsh rabbit. These feisty lagomorphs engage in territorial squabbles with one another to establish their turf, and you can see from the facial wound and tattered ears on this individual that such fights can be pretty intense. Clearly this tough guy has earned his right to nibble greens in this swamp.
