Life update!!!

I haven’t been on this blog in a few years now. I just wanted to see if any of my old friends are still around and look back at what I was posting. Seeing how sad I used to be just broke my heart. Life was so hard back then. I was so sad all the time. I’m not anymore.

I wish old me could see me now.

I’m 28 years old now. I lost 113 pounds and got my hair done the way I’ve always wanted. I’m finally a cook like I always dreamed of in a restaurant and I’m very good at it. I have a boyfriend who I love desperately and would give me the moon if he could. We have a dog. I’m alive and we have a dog. I still can’t believe it. I smile into his chest when I dream at night secure in the knowledge that I know what it is to be truly held by someone. If old me had her way I never would have lived to see any of it.

Please never stop trying. One day life will be sweet again and you deserve to enjoy it when it happens.
