I always like to make ocs for the media I like and Akane Banashi has so much potential for ocs I just had to do it. She’s far from the only one though, hopefully I’ll get to introduce all of them eventually.

You actually cannot skip to being good at a creative endeavour that you haven't put much practice into. You cannot trick your way out of the 'knows that your work is not what you want it to be but don't know how to improve it' stage by planning or reading or talking about it really really hard. At some point you just have to craft through it until your brain finds it's own unique way back to the 'everything I make slaps' stage and be prepared to start the cycle all over again. You just have to make that project you're excited about slightly less good than you want it to be. (Says this standing in a pool of blood and covered in blood and also coughing up a little blood)

I just love that this very video is an accumulation of thousands of years worth of art made by people who have never met each other. The concept of this video was so completely unfathomable to every single artist who made the sculptures and yet they’ve all put something toward the creation of it.

vaggi being tragically underutilized hours but theres an unseen subplot in S2 about her stepping up as de facto manager of the hotel during Charlie's spiral and immediately running into a massive roadblock because all the guests hate and fear her from the moment they realize what she is. and she has to slowly earn the guests trust, on her own and without help because again, Charlie's spiral, and there's a parallel here with Charlie losing her mind over Vox's smear campaign and making things worse in her obsessive need to set the record straight versus how Vaggi handles those same kinds of barriers without playing someone else's rigged game, doing actual material good in the process instead of just claiming positive intent.

like idk we kind of got a bit of this same idea with Emily in Curtain Call re: angel proving in material ways that they are dedicated to helping sinners + repairing the unimaginable amounts of damage done by the exterminations and the general public of hell starting to very slowly acclimate to the possibility of angels being anything other than a destructive force, and that's great, I love her, but it really would Hit Different with an actual Exorcist, wouldn't it. Plus, it'd continue the thread of Vaggi specifically integrating into Hell as her own person instead of one of Heaven's manufactured living weapons. I just. It would've been neat is all.
