"Through the Borderline" Oil in canvas (180x120 cm) Seperated soul with split personality. Divided and torn into different pieces. Labeled and categorized. A hope for traveling the way through the black and white to reach the gray. The space between and what we could call the void. This is a beginning of a new era of my art process.
"Exposure" Oil on canvas (170x130 cm) Based on an intense dream where a figure coming towards me. It starts to open up the rags it's wearing. Before me I see this landscape including a sinking boat. For some reason the figure, with two different dimensions, trying to force me into the boat. What happened next is pretty unclear, but I'm sure I can relate to the figures act. Not in a violent way, but the fact of that you're keeping information inside of you. Eventually you have to expose it and release some of it.
