Homesmut Subreddit

If you guys are not yet aware, I am a mod on the homesmut subreddit.  I have spent the last few years connecting people with content creators as a liason between the blogging world of Tumblr and the Content Hunting Reddit.  In a weird way, it almost felt less like porn and more like a passion project.  At the time of writing this I have over 550 followers and 1,650 posts, all dedicated to cataloging a weirdly specific fanporn community.  When I started the homesmut subreddit was dying in the Gigapause (yeah, remember THAT) and the goal was to revive the community.  I feel like I was successful in that mission.  The Subreddit is lively, artists are less burnt out on Homestuck, and if you have a weird thing for grey alien girls you need only ask and you shall receive.

Now, the homesmut world is getting rocked to its core.  Most all creators that I found for Homesmut were on Tumblr and were very much Tumblr Regulars.  With the Adult ban coming in and Grey women not making it past the filter we are experiencing a mass exodus of smut.  Pivix, Newground, Twitter, all these bastions are filling with Tumblr Refugees as blogs start to go dark.  No one is quite sure when we will all end up.  To that end, I would like to extend a formal invitation to all content creators and fans alike to join the Homesmut Subreddit.  As you move on to new pastures I hope that you can use the Subreddit as a way to find those lost along the way.  The Subreddit can be used as a tool to find where an artist has ended up or to announce where you, an artist, may have gone. Either way, the Reddit can serve as a beckon in these chaotic times, and I encourage you all to at least take a look and maybe lend your knowledge in finding artists.  Thank you all for your kind words and porn networking over the years, hopefully Smutlab helped you to find what you were looking for.
