Drawings by serial killers depicting their crimes
1. Dennis Nilsen’s drawing of one of his murdered victims. He produced a number of these drawings and called them “sad sketches”.
2. Dennis Rader’s drawing of one of his victims. He referred to them as “PJ’s” meaning ‘projects’.
3. Jeffrey Dahmer’s drawing of his planned shrine which would use the bones of his victims.
Crime scene photos of the masks Brian Draper & Torey Adamcik wore on the night that they murdered their classmate Cassie Stoddart. They recorded their whole plan to murder Cassie on video tape whilst they both were in school.
The infamous Honor Society photo in the 1978 Revere High School Yearbook. As a prank, Jeffrey Dahmer sneaked into several photos for high school clubs, only to have his face blacked out in all of them once his stunt was discovered. This photo has since become a symbol of both Dahmer’s complete alienation from other people and the grim consequence of society’s neglect of an obviously disturbed youth.
“Whatever had gone on in Jeff’s life, he couldn’t talk about. It seemed so clear all along that it was someone saying, ‘Pay attention to me.’ “
–Martha Schmidt, teenage friend of Jeffrey Dahmer

“Don’t Make Me Go Back, Mommy”
One of the creepiest things to come out of the Satanic panic of the 1980s (see here) was a kid’s book entitled Don’t Make Me Go Back, Mommy. Written by Doris Sanford, it was meant as a tool to help children (and parents) identify and recognize signs of Satanic ritual abuse. A few pages from the book can be found below.
Jon Benét Ramsey’s grave. She was found dead in the family home. The murder still remains a mystery to this day.
“She was excited to start Kindergarten, or "Real School” as she called it.“ - Patsy Ramsey
The corpses of the starving Ukrainians during Holodomor. An estimated 2.5–7.5 million Ukrainians died during the famine. Among them were Kulaks (Russian peasants) who during the reign of Stalin had their growing land forcibly taken from them. Because of this and many other factors, the production of grain, a large resource for food has been cut from 7.2 million tons to 4.3 million tons. a rationing system was put into place in an attempt to provide people with food, but was gradually cut back to almost nothing.
