Imagine: Emma casts a love spell on Jefferson and you but it does not work.
“Are you feeling anything yet?” Swan was sitting across from you in the interrogation room of the police department. It has been the same thing since you got here a few hours ago. Question, after question, after question. Most of them had been about Jefferson. Where is he, what is your plan, Who else are you working with, what is your goal, who is he working for? Things like that. You had refused to answer any of them and had been silent except for a few rude comments. “So anything?”
“Don’t you ever get tired of hearing your own voice?” you scowl at Emma. “I know I do,” you mumble.
Swan suddenly stands up, “I GIVE UP!” She storms out of the room leaving the door slightly open. The only thing keeping you from running out was that you were cuffed to the table. You could however hear Swan yelling at her parents outside. “There must be something wrong with the spell!”
“It might just need more time to work,” Charming spoke up.
“There is no way it should take this long,” Snow interjects. You were then distracted from the conversation by the sound of wind in the corner of the room and a soft purple glow. You turn your attention to the sound in time to see Jefferson fall out of the small portal landing on his feet in front of you. You smile thrilled to see him again.
“Y/N, are you okay?” Jefferson whispers.
“I’m fine, and I’m ready to get out of here,” you say lifting your chained hand showing him the lock.
“Of course,” he kneels down and begins to pick the lock, “I am so sorry it took so long. I just couldn’t risk it while Emma was in here.”
“It’s fine, let’s just get out of here so we can finish our job before something bad happens.”
“Right,” as Jefferson turns his full attention to the lock you listened to the conversation outside.
Emma was speaking quickly and she sounds a little panicked, “you both know that the only way the spell wouldn’t work is if they were already in love.”
“In that case it doesn’t matter it still means he will come for her and then we can question him.” Charming stated, “You should get back in there before he gets here.”
You begin to panic knowing that you could be the reason Jefferson gets caught. “Done,” Jefferson looks at you and smiles. “Any last words before we leave.” He knows you have always been one for theatrics.
“Of course,” you smile happily at you stand up quickly causing the chair to screech loudly as it is pushed back. You yell out to the family outside the door, “hello, just a word of advice. Well more that one word and more than one piece of advice. Two to be exact.” The three of them rush into the room but stop when they see I have been released and Jefferson is here. “One you should really close the door next time, I could hear everything you were saying. Secondly you shouldn’t leave me alone if you want me to remain captive. Because I have someone who will always come for me.” With that you grab Jefferson’s hand. He took that as his cue to throw down his hat and open a portal to anywhere but here. Then he jumped in pulling you behind him.
