Ruby held her sister tightly. Not really speaking, knowing Rose just needed to get it all out. Ruby had never really interacted with Jake, she usually went out with her friends when the other came over. “Mom will support you, you know that. Dad will be the worry, he’ll want to murder Jake.”

Rose sighed as she poured all her emotions out hugging Ruby tightly. “Daddy can do what he wants to Jake I never want to see that asshole again.” Rose would lean her head on Ruby’s shoulder. “Mom will always have my back against that jerk.”

“Well, she knows you want to be a cop but the business is what she works hard at and she wants one of us to be part of her business.” Rose said. “It probably is safer and she doesn’t want to lose you or dad.” She chuckles. “I will come and save you, oh and I am happy on my own but I’m moving closer to home.”

It was just too… grown up, it was surreal, but her arms automatically moved around her sister, pulling her close, chin resting on her shoulder. “It will be ok Ro, you have us and the baby too.”

Rose sighed holding onto Ruby tightly. “It--s Jake’s.. Yea, it’s a real baby.. remember how I’ve been acting when mom makes my fave now? I can’t hold it down.” She said trying to compose herself. “I... want to keep my baby... I’m telling mom...”

Jake jumped when she threatened him. “I know I don’t. Anyway, you want me to give her child support, which I will probably give to her anyway. I loved her.. but then I just... anyway Drizella. You think you and your mother won’t solve this? I know she wants a meeting with me about Rose.”

“No, Aunt Regina, he wants to see Olivia. But our breakup is like we keep being off and then on again. And it is killing me, seeing him, I know he can't change.” She sighed. “I.. how to my mom and dad do it? Be so in love with each other. Families support each other. I know that is a family tradition.”

Sighing, Anastasia closed the book shut and placed it on the empty seat beside her. She turned to face Jake properly and she raised an eyebrow. “Drizella just wants to cause trouble,” she said. “You should try to ignore her,” she added. She moved her hair from her face. “You either care for Rose or you don’t…”

Jake sighed. “Of course she does, I don’t trust her. You, I trust because you aren’t Drizella. I do care about Rose and about Olivia... but Drizella won’t let me be there for them.” Jake said. “Pretty sure your mother won’t too.”

“Of course Ella, I’d like it if you babysat. Would be easier on me so I can get some rest.” She smiled a little. “I don’t want to worry anyone, and especially not my mother or Drizella they are too busy.”
