I’m getting a bit tired, so I’m going to go try to get some sleep.  I have a few starters to write and about 6 drafts in my draft box right now.  Will work on these at some point tomorrow.  *hugs* Goodnight everyone.

“Yeah I live just a couple of blocks away.” He nodded and rubbed the back of his head he wasn’t sure about if he lived in the same area or not. For all he knew it was a completely different direction. “I live in the apartment building just a couple blocks that way.” Matt pointed the direction he’d just come from. “I’d love for you to show me around, new city and all you know?”

Smiling he thanked her with another hug, “I do have to get going but text me and let me know when you’re free to go do stuff okay little miss blue bird.” He chuckled, calling her one of the few nicknames from college.

Looking toward the way he was pointing, Addy smirked, “You aren’t sure exactly where you live from here huh?” she teased. “I’m joking, but I understand.  I was the same way when I first moved here. You’ll get the hang of it in no time.” Addy’s hand connected with his arm as she spoke.  “Alright, it’s a date, I mean not a date, but you know what I mean.” She muttered. 

Hugging him back felt amazing, like they were right back into the swing of their friendship they had when in college.  She had missed him but hadn’t realized just how much till that very moment.  Her cheeks turning red as he called her the nickname that only a few people close to her knew.  “I’ll be sure to text you.  Wait you’re number hasn’t changed has it?” she checked just making sure.

Happy, sad, and relieved.  She’s happy to have her friend around, sad because sometimes they just make each other sad. She’s also a bit relieved to finally just be friends, because she knows they are better off that way.

Excited, nostalgic, and wonder.  She’s excited to get to know him again, nostalgic because she keeps thinking about the past and of course she’s wondering where they can take it.
