I have been very fortunate this year to have nothing but the sweetest of couples, and these two are no exception. I wanted to save these photos for a special day and thought there was no better time than this. Lauren & Baker are two people who I felt like I knew for years once we met. I am so happy we got some really special light for their elopement 🥰😘

I want to celebrate the 1st day of this glorious month with these images that I love so much!! October has always been my favorite month of the year, and there is no better way to start it than to showcase what Hannah & Brett did for their Big Sur elopement.

Renting a vintage car was such a fun idea that not only added a bit of luxury to their day, but it made the background of Big Sur even more photogenic, which I didn't think was possible. This sweeter-than-can-be couple really added a timeless element to make their wedding day extra special, and I can't recommend this unique idea enough. I really could not contain my excitement because they also got an incredible sunset to go along with it! 🌅

Thank you to this sweet sweet family! Sometimes getting your photo taken can be tough work, and little man was not having it at the end!! 🤣 But that's okay, because when you have a cute kid like this, even a moment of shyness can create some funny memories 💙

Capturing a couple's day is a beautiful journey, and it always fills my soul when I get to try different things and go down a new creative path!

Before every elopement, I get to know my couples through a questionnaire that helps me understand their vision, their love story, and their unique personalities.

This time, my rad couple Olivia & Jake gave me the freedom to embrace creativity in a way I don't typically explore. They wanted to add a touch of playfulness to their images, so we decided to experiment with something I normally do not do!

While intentionally blurry captures might not be my usual style, this imaginative detour allowed us to infuse movement, spontaneity, and pure joy into some of their photographs. I'm grateful they trusted me to document their love in this special way.

This couple was so lovely, and I loved both her choices. Also, I have seen some incredible florals in my day, but this succulent bouquet was something else 🫶

Jumping for love, Ambrosia & Chris leapt into the Big Sur river as part of their celebration for an extraordinary elopement day! This unique activity really showcased their characters and made for some special imagery. They are my first couple to ever jump into a river, but hopefully not the last! Are you considering doing something *wild* for your elopement? You can be brave like them and have these photos inspire you 🙌 I still have so many images I would love to share from the incredible time I spent with this couple, but this deserved a separate post 💛
