Ok, this feels like a way overdue post, but let's get finally acquainted:

Hi, you can call me Segel. I'm 23 y.o. (as of jan 2026) and I'm a Computer Science major in my 5th semester.

I draw, I occasionally write, but most importantly - I complain.

What is to be expected of this blog? Well, as mentioned earlier, a lot of whining, complaining, some arts and writings, and, occasionally, my very unimportant but certainly loud opinions on some TV series/movies/books and other media.

I know, it's the exam season and I have a report deadline creeping up in a week, but i just had to sit down and redraw my blorno man for the 100th time...

Just look at him! I made him older! And he's now officially part of a game i struggle to develop! And he is now married to Jeserin!

Can I just emphasize that not everyone reading this has yet encountered the information that injuries require food, hydration, and sleep? I think the way many people associate rest and injury is that you rest the injury itself to avoid making it worse, but overlook that the healing process itself requires rest regardless of if not-rest directly injures it further.

Also exercise is a form of controlled injury so that as your body heals it heals stronger. You also need food-hydration-rest for strength and cardiovascular improvements after exercise.

I suddenly remembered that I have a tablet and I can colour her digitally…. I can’t say I’m proud of this colour, but I’m definitely satisfied. I will colour her in actual watercolours as well, just later when I have time. 6th semester of uni begins next week and I’m supposed to help out during the freshers week + I still have my work, so I don’t have much time :’)

Anyways, that was fun and I will do more. As soon as I understand who my 2nd fav character is….

So the reason I said it might take a while for me to colour the Queen is this:

It took me 20 minutes to do the preliminary shadows. And now I have to wait until they're dry to continue with actual colours.

Like there's so much i can already say about the show, from the animation styles to writing, to characters, to... to keep it short, I just binge watched 20 episodes in one seating. That had not happened to me in a while. Like, actually, I cannot remember when I was so invested in a media I had to force myself to take piss brakes. Cresus jist.

I'm experimenting and even though the proportions are utterly out of whack, I still kinda like it. I kinda went in blind, with just an idea and a shitload of emotions. Didn't even do a sketch. Just raw doggin' it for a full hour. Maybe some day I'll reduce the hand size, but for now I just wanna admire work done

Finally found a psychiatrist that doesn't retire next month, and I went ballistic autism on him.

His reaction:

"Ja, so I'll prescribe you an MRI scan to rule out any other issues, to be sure that you're just depressed. And I'll up your antidepressants dosage to 100 mg, cuz clearly you need it. See you in a month."

-> he did not send me off to wait for another 6 months

-> immediately upped my prescription, no fighting

-> had me in for a 45 minute appointment, not 10

-> sent me for an MRI, which I wanted for years, but never was long enough in "treatment" to argue my point

-> was OK with me being trans

This man is a miracle.

The only question is, the fuck "to rule out other options" is???

If you think about it, these are just methods to convey emotion. Sure, it would probably make your English teacher faint, but our goal isn’t to have perfect grammar here. Our goal is to perfectly (or almost perfectly) imitate how our thoughts sound in our heads.
