Intro Post

Welcome to my selfship/sonas blog! This is where I'll be yapping about selfshipping stuff, and also my sonas. "I've been waiting for this!" Something I want to explain real quick is that this is extremely self indulgent, and may seem 'cringe' to some people, but I'm trusting y'all to not bully me off the internet, because this makes me happy, so if you don't like the stuff I yap about, your free to just not interact with my blog. But if you decide to stay, then welcome!! <3 I hope you enjoy what I yap about, and the creations that come from my brain. Interactions are very encouraged!! I would love to hear what people have to say about my self-indulgent shenanigans. :] The main thing that people would maybe see as cringe is the fact that two of my sonas are sort of put in the place of the protagonists of 2 Persona games, Persona 3 and Persona 5. So, as a warning, this blog will absolutely contain Persona 3 and Persona 5 spoilers!! "Let me explain."

Some things about me

My name is Nexus, I'm 19, and I go by she/her pronouns. I don't mind sharing any of my f/os! This is a list of my sonas, and my f/os. (And something I'd like to clarify, a few of my sonas f/os are different from my own. For example, I don't ship myself with Kotone from Persona 3, but I feel like the ship would be cute with my sona, Janus.) My blog will probably mainly consist of Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal stuff, since their two of my all time favorite games. (And I do not condone ATLUS moments, such as but not limited to, sexualizing minors, 'hot water' scenes, fatphobia, etc.) My favorite characters from these games are Goro Akechi (My favorite character in all of fiction,,, /srs), and Akihiko Sanada. Also, some of my sonas are shipped with characters that I also ship with canon characters, such as Yukari x Mitsuru, Ryoji x Makoto/Minato, and others. If y'all ship a character I ship a sona with with a canon character, I will not care, because same. :3 "Time to make like a tree!" I hope you guys like my blog! This is supposed to be before she changed her hair, but for context, Akechi accidentally cut it off the first time they were in the Metaverse together while trying to save her life. She doesn’t mind the length, its moreso that it looks so chopped.

And they have the custom school uniforms I made since me and my friend hc him as going to a school we made for him and Janus. I’m pretty proud of em! Especially since I was working with yellow with Akechi, and I don’t see yellow as his color per se.

since I need to start posting more on this blog, let me do a bit of a shameless plug for the future! I'm going to start writing a fic on AO3 heavily based on me and my friends Cookie Run rp, with the protagonist being my CRK sona.

It'll have a wholesome start, and could be considered as just unrealistic fluff (which is what it was intended to be before my brain took some ideas and ran with them), but trust me, there is detailed and well thought out stuff afterwards.

It's also sort of a more vulnerable fic, since the protagonist is of course, based off me. So there will be mentions of some of my irl struggles and issues, so I'm a tad bit nervous about all of that, but the brainworms to write this fic are stronger than that, haha.

The first 'arc' will have a heavy focus on Shadow Milk and Black Sapphire, so if you like those two, I hope you'll like what I do for them! The fic will also include certain ships (ShadowVanilla, ShadowSapphire (I do not see Smilk as his father, please do not try to claim I support that stuff /lh), HollySugar, Juice Bar Regulars poly, etc.), and some of me and my friends ocs, and also a lot of headcanons! Since this roleplay started during the Match Made in Oven update, a lot has changed in the lore, so we'll be going with our own lore and plans for the latter half of the arcs, with it being combined with stuff that's revealed in the updates. So not everything will be 100% lore accurate.

Also, there will be no character death. We have a firm 'no killing important characters' rule in our roleplay, so if you get anxious about character death in media (as I do personally), don't worry! There won't be any of that. We will be doing our best to try and assure that everyone gets as happy as an ending as possible, as we feel the characters deserve such.

I hope that some of you will decide to join me as I try to actually finish a fanfic for once! It would mean a lot to me. <3

I can imagine her staying on Yumeko’s side because one, she sees that shes an extremely powerful gambler, and two, Ryota is on team Yumeko. I can also imagine she prefers card games the most, since I like them irl too. :]

Janus Murdam (Persona 5 Royal)

This post is dedicated to my most recent sona, Janus! Goes by she/her pronouns, likes to look androgynous. 18 years old. Not really paired with anyone in her canon.

MAJOR PERSONA 5 + PERSONA 5 ROYAL SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT. TW FOR MENTIONS OF ABUSE AND MURDER.

Since Akechi is my favorite character in all of fiction, I decided, why not make a sona that's his partner in crime? I got this idea from a dream about my main P5R sona and Akechi being in a hotel room, I think arguing about failing to assassinate someone? I don't remember the details, but I remember they were partners in crime.

So, that's sort of the premise for Janus. I'm still working on her first and third awakening Personas, my first idea was Sisyphus, but I wasn't sure how to turn him into a third awakening Persona. Her second awakening Persona is Tisiphone, though, one of the Erinyes, or Furies. They punish and torment people who've done wrong, Tisiphone specifically punishing murderers in an act of vengeance. But Athena eventually persuades them, both by threats and promises of honor, that they become protectors of justice instead. Janus was originally controlled by her mom, and verbally abused by her. She wasn't allowed to wear what she wanted, wasn't allowed to look how she wanted, and her mom would constantly berate her for even small mistakes, and gaslight her mercilessly. Whether its her mom convincing her of something that simply didn't happen, or degrading her and then convincing her that she's not the bad guy here, and making Janus feel guilty. Janus also used to have a different name, but I'm unsure of what that name will be. Something that was too feminine for her tastes. She also originally was from America, but her and her mom moved to Japan. Eventually, she was accidentally dragged to the Metaverse, specifically Momentos, by Akechi. How? I'm not sure, I'm still working on a logical explanation for that. But this will have been months prior to the canon events of the game. But Janus quickly gets the hell out of dodge after Akechi goes deeper into Momentos, figuring out how to get out via her phone. After that, she eventually goes back to the Metaverse on accident, the Nav reacting to something she says. Again, I'm not sure how or why this'll happen. This part is still kind of a WIP. I'm thinking maybe its her moms Palace? She awakens to her Persona there, but doesn't clear the Palace. I'm thinking that she just trains her Persona there, but also utilizes Momentos, since I think it would show on her history on the Nav? So I'm thinking she sees Akechi in Momentos one day. He's taken aback, but he takes chase after her, since nobody else is supposed to be here. He doesn't plan on killing her, but he can't exactly leave this alone. I'm thinking she runs, and then he catches up to her, and they fight for a bit. Janus is of course less skilled than Akechi, so I can imagine her trying to focus on mainly dodging. She eventually gets a hit off on him, and then runs again. Akechi is pissed at this point, so he takes chase again, and catches up to her, this time knocking her out. He takes her to a rest area, and binds her using the belts on his outfit. He interrogates her, and learns about her mom having a Palace. He asks why her mom would have a Palace in the first place, and she comes out and says her mom is abusive and controlling. Akechi takes pause at this, since in my headcanons, he was passed around very abusive foster homes. Specifically a verbally abusive and manipulative woman that treated him like a trophy child, and a physically abusive man (that he killed after awakening to his Personas). He debates for a moment, but then tells her how she can help herself. He tells her that if she kills the Ruler of a Palace, then they'll die in real life. He says that he can come with her if she wants, but he won't help unless absolutely necessary. She hesitates, but it doesn't take too long for her to agree. Years of pent up anger, grief, and rage, have built up for too long. And she's sick of it. And I'm gonna have to make a part two of this, since I hit the character limit I didn't know was a thing. Oops.

for those with multiple f/o's,, you dont need to just have one sona either. in fact i encourage you to make a sona for every single one of your f/os, that way they can gush to EACH OTHER about every version of you 💞💞
