This is my personal selfshipping blog where all I do is chat with mutuals, post about random stuff, and gush about my f/os and ocs! I sometimes write selfship oneshots here and I always take requests for any f/o (please send in requests I want to write more) :3

I go by Amber and Jonas and sometimes Forrest (tho not often) and I’d really appreciate it if you used all three names for me! Amber is my main name but I still use Jonas and I sometimes still use Forrest, I'm still testing it out

I'm genderfluid however my dream of being a shapeshifter is unfortunately impossible, so I mainly identify as nonbinary. I mainly use they/them but I still sometimes use he/she. I’d really appreciate it if you use all kinds of gendered terms for me, no matter if it's feminine, masculine, or androgynous :3

I'm pan and I don't really care about the gender of my f/os or crushes, I just fall for them if I like their personality or how the romance between us would be :3

Random but what are your thoughts on the cultural shift from mono-chrome Dad Gaster to Green and In Between Sibling Gaster?

I'm not sure, but I'm very interested in finding out more about Gaster :3

I think I heard that some people think Gaster could also be Sans and Alphys' previous boss instead, but people mostly focus on the Dadster theory

Okay so- Damien seems as if he's the trope of "dark, brooding, moody, and mysterious vampire" but that facade will immediately fall if he's comfortable around someone or he's flustered. He's actually sweet and playful and a dork and he gets flustered surprisingly easily. My s/i flirts with him a lot and it always makes him a flustered and happy mess :3

The Sound of Their Laugh

Summary: As Mr. Hippo is telling Amber another story, he gets distracted and ends up showering them in compliments

Notes: First time writing for Mr. Hippo

Mr. Hippo makes Amber laugh so often, he ends up mentioning it to them.

“Has anyone ever told you that you have a nice laugh?” He asks, cutting off his original thought mid-story to focus on this instead. Was he planning on complimenting them? Not really, it just slipped out unconsciously. He means it regardless.

Amber had been in the middle of doing maintenance on him, their hands working on the wires inside of his stomach. They pause at his sudden compliment, their face flushing a faint red. “I uh- not that I'm aware. But thank you!” They beam brightly at him, turning to face him.

“Really? No one has ever told you that? Not once before? I find that hard to believe. Not that I'm saying I don't believe you, mind you, I'm just saying- well, you have a very pleasant sounding voice. Frankly, it's surprising how no one has told you that before- well, until now, that is.”

Their smile just keeps on getting brighter and brighter. They cover it with their hand, trying to hold back their giddiness. “Pleasant sounding?”

“Oh yes, I could listen to you talk for hours, and I have. Sometimes I don't know much about what you're rambling on about, but the things you talk about are so interesting. Some of those…video games, right? I'd love to watch you play it sometime. Now, I'm not sure when that would happen, considering I have to stay here and all of the stuff you need is at your house, but I'd still love to watch you play sometime if we can manage that.”

Amber is speechless for a moment, touched by his praise. They take a moment to recover before speaking up. “Thank you, Mr. Hippo. By the way, I think you have a pretty soothing voice too.”

Mr. Hippo perks up in surprise, not expecting the compliment to be returned to him. “Really? You think so?”

“Of course! Your voice is soft and smooth, and I could listen to you talk for hours as well. I like listening to your stories, especially as I work.” They tell him, their gaze affectionate as they look into his eyes.

If animatronics could blush, Mr. Hippo would be a bright red. It feels really nice to have someone so invested in what he has to say. It touches his heartstrings…or circuits, if we're being a little more literal with the metaphors. “Why thank you, my dear. You're very sweet. Have I ever told you that? I feel like I tell you that a lot.”

“You do, but I get flattered every single time. So thank you, again.” They let out a soft chuckle at their repeated gratitude to his praise.

“Oh, of course. I mean it, after all.” He tells them. Now that he's on the topic of compliments, he can't help but let more spill out. “You know, you have a beautiful smile as well. It's always so big and bright- so vibrant. You always look so happy around us, especially around me.” At the mention of their smile, Amber’s smile brightens even more and they unconsciously cover it with their hand. They don't even realize they're doing it until he takes their hand in his in a gentle grip, pulling it down to his lap. “Hey hey hey, don't hide it. Don't hide that precious smile from me. Let me see it.”

A soft, giddy giggle leaves Amber at his praise. “Thank you. You're so sweet, Hippo.” They give his hand a light squeeze.

At the affectionate gesture, Mr. Hippo glances down at their hand in his. He's never really thought about them in that way before, but now he can't stop thinking about it. About them. He wants more of their affection, but he's aware he's 1: a robot and not the typical love interest humans are interested in, and 2: there's an age gap between them and he's aware he's not the most attractive animatronic. Unbeknownst to him, Amber would heavily disagree on the “unattractive” part of his worries.

Now isn’t the time to think about that right now. He shrugs off his thoughts and speaks up again. “Wha-What was I saying? Oh- oh yes. So, I was talking to Orville-”

Writing for characters who ramble on, like Mr. Hippo or Wheatley, is actually pretty easy for me because I can just write down my own ramblings and alter it to fit their speech patterns or whatever they're talking about :3

When it comes to new f/os I want to write about, I have an unspoken rule where I have to write at least one fluffy oneshot first before I write smut of them
