lemme explain smthn: farenheit is human-centered.

in celsius, you have to use the dumb fucking scale of “0 = ???, 40 = hot as shit” like damn that’s some exponential curve stuff

but with farenheit it’s simple af. 0 is v cold. 100 is v hot. the end.

celsius makes sense for water, but am i water? no, im human.

stop being smug for using a shit temperature system.

[RP Event] Leyline Hunt

Stamped with the rich blue crest of House Starsworn, the following parchment has been shared freely among those in Oathguard’s ranks.

Time and time again we have fought the Legion and though we triumphed there was always that fear the next time we would not be victorious. Now the Legion has managed to secure a foothold in Azeroth unlike anything we have ever witnessed before. Upon our backs and that of every soldier of the Horde rests not just our fate but that of Azeroth as well. Failure is not an option.

I ask of you, brothers and sisters alike, to join me in Suramar. The key to the Legion’s defeat lies in the very lands that ushered them here. Reach out to me should you be interested in joining our efforts.

Now that the dust has settled, it’s time for Oathguard to jump into events! Here are all the details you need to know to join the action:

Objective: Locate and assess the areas where Leyline feeds can be found in Suramar. Players will have to face enemies, solve puzzles and explore to find and empower the leyline structures.

Scheduling:

First incursion starts October 16th at 6:00pm server.

Events will run from two to three hours.

Weekly events will follow until all stations are empowered.

OOC:

These Leyline stations are not associated with the portals.

Due to phasing we will need to be grouped.

Players will need 200-250 ancient mana to activate these pylons.

While the event is geared towards those characters with magical talents, healers and soldiers of all walks are welcomed! After all, the nerds will need some muscle to help them out.

This event is not exclusive to guildies. Friends and newcomers are welcomed! Reach out and I’ll work with you to get your character involved.
