The Need for sacrifice
we cant seem to avoid this horrific law of nature, as real as gravity and anything else. The Aztecs sacrificed thousands for the sun to stay alive, God sacrificed his son for humanity and lied to his followers saying that this was the last needed human sacrifice, yet his followers drink his blood and eat his flesh each week and have done so for thousands to years. The Greeks sacrificed the blood of animals for the gods so that they may win their wars, blood demands blood. Each piece of clothing we wear has been created due to the sacrifice of the lives and health of millions of children.
Cronus, the personification of time itself, killed each of his child to keep himself alive. The blood of who knows how many children were necessary to push back against the force of the curse on his life.
Destruction is the most fundamental reality of the universe, much more than creation. Most species that have ever existed have gone extinct since the creation of the earth by whatever anonymous entity.

No greater desire exists than a wounded person's need for another wound.

Lucifer's origins are wild.
You mean that he was a god of light and the planet Venus? You mean to tell me he was celebrated in Rome? You mean to tell me that this God, who was depicted as a child, who was loved throughout Rome, who was Aurora's son, was demonized because some scholars thought "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" which was referring to a king's pride? Because Venus, aka the Dawn Star, aka Morning Star, hangs a bit low on the horizon?
How art thou fallen from Heaven indeed.

Sometimes it dawns on me that I'll never be a 30-something guy living on the road in a classic car listening to old rocks songs with my best friend, hunting monsters and saving the world. And that's just a sad realization to have.
Excuse me while I mourn this.

School Shooters and Masochism
This topic has (to the best of my limited knowledge, granted) little worthwhile literature, and so this text will hopefully serve to improve this.
For now, here are my thoughts; school shooters (or mall shooters, whichever) seem to be composed of young men in their twenties with a limited to nonexistent social life, but a great online presence. My thesis for the time being is that the subconscious drive of these men is of a sexual nature with an inability to show itself due to their poor social skills. Their sexual frustration, paired with other issues of course, culminates in the release of their libido through the completion of the massacre they've been fantasizing about for months, if not years. When seeing their online posts, we see an increase and intensification of the fantasy being described in more and more details until the very last few days where the shooter proudly exclaims that he can barely control himself at the thought of finally achieving his dream. This very clearly (perhaps too well) parallels someone getting close to climaxing after fantasizing about a sexual act for a while.
I love the macabre and anything dark. Things that are taboo and make you scared to even look into it. People who you know who's mind is a never ending void of abnormal and immoral thoughts.
