sova goes by they / them pronouns internally and identifies as non-binary (or at the very least, without terminology because i don’t think they have the education to understand the terminology being an arrancar, they simply exist as ‘their self’). this is not something other arrancar would know and therefore she / her & he / him pronouns are acceptable. sova doesn’t correct others because 1) they don’t really feel a need to do so & 2) others perception of them doesn’t influence their perception of themself.
sova is intersex. they have sex characteristics from both biological female and biological male anatomy. what that anatomy looks like isn’t commonly known so unless a muse builds a specific dynamic with sova where they would know / find out, they won’t know.
sova presents / appears rather androgynous in specific to their facial features. however, knee / shin length hair and the slight noticeability of their breasts beneath their uniform often gets them put in the ‘female’ binary by default of those around them.
sova has rather simple features and does not wear makeup to accentuate their appearance in any capacity. the most ‘accentuating’ natural facial feature they have would be fairly thick, dark lashes.
sova does not carry much pride for their appearance ( or disdain for that matter ) but they do however take very good care of their hair. it is nearly always pristinely combed unless they’ve participated in a task that’s mussed it ( such as eating ). their hair is not for just anyone to touch and they will have a somewhat adverse reaction to most who attempt to do so. there are few exceptions to this rule. sova wears their hair down and free.
the animal sova is based upon / akin to is an owl. *i can’t remember atm which specific owl i chose so i will give more information on this later. but for now the only little tidbit to mention is that sova can rotate their head to quite dramatic degrees… they will do this when watching someone with a thousand yard stare, as if looking into the soul.

sova has black irises. while when still human they were rather dark brown, they’ve since become entirely black and one cannot tell the difference between iris or pupil. other physical traits: sova is rather pale and would not really be able to hold a tan. sova is rather skinny but not to the point of being unhealthy, as they’re only 5'3½.
