             The tiny dragon is content. He has a pumpkin all to himself! The giant thing had been sitting by Max’s desk for quite some time now, unused. He knows there are tons of others in the workshop but he’s not allowed to touch those. So he’d burrowed into this one & hollowed it out. Wriggling contently, he grins, shooting up through the roof of the pumpkin with a very loud RARRRRRRR!!! just in time to startle the other out of his concentration.

“Hey!”

If it’s attention Noodle’s looking for, he’s got it; Bucky barks out a surprised laugh and just barely manages to swat at the side of his head out of instinct. Instead, Bucky reaches up and strokes one of the fins on the side of his head.

“You feelin’ bored, or what?”

The little dragon wiggles, balancing precariously on his shoulder before he curls around both, nuzzling his cheek sleepily. Yes, he’s bored. But the little bit of affection helps & he settles, making a noise that vaguely sounds like a purr. He blows a single bubble, letting it pop on Bucky’s nose.

To my writing partners

This thankfully hasn’t really come up yet but I wanted to throw up a quick reminder to all of you that there is never any need to feel embarrassed, foolish, or “silly” for reacting strongly to a certain subject. 

If we are roleplaying something dark/sensitive/nsfw, which I may do because I like to cover a lot of subjects in my writing, please, please remember that you can back out at any time. Even if we are in the middle of writing the scene. Even if we’ve planned the scene way in advance. Maybe you thought you could handle a violent scene, but then when the moment actually came, it just really got to you. That’s ok. We’ll stop.

Your comfort is always more important to me than the story. 

We can time-skip the scene. We can do a different thread entirely, if that’s what you feel like you need. Communication is key to any relationship, and that includes between RP partners. 

On that note, if you read my roleplays and I haven’t tagged something that triggers you, please just send me a message. Even if it’s on anon. I’ll gladly make a new tag for it.

Laughing, James cuddled the noodle back and pet the soft dragon.

“This is so fucking weird. But you are the best. Just the perfect size for hugging. Everyone should get to hug a dragon noodle. Or are you a noodle dragon?”

Noodle shrugs, or at least makes a face that could be considered the same before stretching up & nuzzling against him. He vibrates almost like he’s purring, sliding through his arms & tugging his sleeve, trying to guide him to bed.

Bubbles. There are a lot of bubbles. The tiny dragon curls around himself, shivering in the too-small tank in the boutique pet store, & whines softly. So many people have come by & looked at him, but so few are actually willing to adopt something as strange & exotic as him. So he shivers, & whines, & hopes. 

He’ll outgrow this tank soon just like he has all the others & he’s really not sure what he’ll do. They don’t have anything bigger. Where will he go? He perks up half-heartedly as the shop bell sounds over the door, blowing a few more bubbles. Maybe this next one will take him home & hold him. 

He’s so tired of being wet & cold, he just wants to be held, & petted, to feel warm. Is that too much for a tiny little thing to ask?

The little dragon groans, shaking his head as he pulls himself up with a grimace, inching over to his leg & curling around it slowly. It had hurt, bad, but they're not done here yet. Looking up at him, he chirps, eyes wide, as if to say "let's get going."
