Forgot to upload this one. This was the first time I tried to draw Alastor. I didn't have a reference handy at the time, so their clothes and hair are off, but ehhh.

So I recently returned from camping, and what better to read whilst in the woods alone at night than cryptid camping with these cuties

Continuing my Hazbin OotD. I technically wore/drew this one before the starry shawl one, so I hadn't quite figured out how to draw either of them - this was my first Charlie and my second Lucifer, before I sat down to make that sketch sheet from the show - but I kept forgetting to finish the bottom corner of Charlie's shirt. My last few drawings were messy chalk/paint/pastel brush experimentations, so this one goes back to more of a lighter pencil sketch style.

Hm, I liked how the soft sketch lines turned out. Kind of torn that they're about to go away when I color it in… 🫠

Don't you just hate it when you wake up naked on your infuriatingly cute rich and powerful rival with absolutely no memory of how you got there and empty/broken alcohol bottles everywhere and he's a goddamned furnace since he's full of that pesky hellfire but his wings are wrapped around around you and they always looked so sharp and menacing from a distance but you can't remember the last time you were bundled up in something so soft and you should really shadow step away from this terrible horrible no good situation before he wakes up and shit gets awkward but your legs are so intertwined you're not actually sure it's safe, or even possible, to extricate yourself without tearing off a part of you and leaving it behind and—

... and...

... maybe just... a few more seconds... or minutes... or..........

@seongghoul is this drawn on paper or sophisticated brushes on the pad that's supposed to make it look like it's drawn traditionally? I'm not implying in anyway that one way is better than the other I just prefer the feeling of paper and pencils when I work.

@angelo-cta Brushes on Procreate. My normal style is very... cell-style, simple and clean, and had completely replaced the paper and pencil I used to carry around religiously. In the process, I felt like my illustration style became very flat and lifeless. Not, of course, to say that all simple and clean line drawings are lifeless—I veered that way for a reason, since I like others who draw that way. Just that mine had become so by using the style as a crutch. So I recently downloaded assorted brush packs that emulate traditional mediums in an effort to go back to sketching and exploring, which is what I made this blog for.

The brushes in the RadioApple drawing is from like six different packs, but at least two of those packs are by @thedawner (one from a free pack they offer and one I purchased) and one is by @jingsketch, if you want to try them out.

I've been starting to draw some of my fave Hazbin characters in some of my fav personal outfits °v° two birds one brimstone to practice drawing more often, learn to draw Hazbin, and remember outfits I liked.
