Two years ago Israel bombed his home. The tent in which his family now lives was also damaged in bombings, which means that insects and small animals can get in.

His family was recently displaced from Gaza City to Deir al-Balah. They struggle to afford food, clean water, medicine, and the materials to repair their tent.

very sad and difficult day. Yesterday, the occupation killed my young cousin, who was no more than 16 years old, when he was out collecting firewood so that his family could cook food with the wood...

It didn't end there. My mother and I were forced today to leave soon after the occupation announced that they would divide Gaza and not allow anyone to move around. They forced us to leave and our tears are pouring down our cheeks. How difficult it is.
