My tablet’s drivers had been giving me serious issues over the past few months, and it became such a hassle that I just genuinely didn’t want to deal with it.  Thankfully, Wacom seems to have gotten it together with the most recent updates, and it’s functional again.  Still trying to get back in the rhythm, however.  I’m actually shocked to hear it’s only been two months.  

Feels like forever.

Been playing a lot of Dark Souls, while keeping tabs on Towergirls stuff on /tg/ and the like.  Got knights on my mind.

I’ve been chatting with a friend I played D&D with a while back.  Our characters shacked up at the end of the campaign, and we were discussing the theoretical hell-spawn that their union might produce.  This is their youngest daughter (so far).  She’s been a bard ever since she was a baby.  An extremely loud baby.

The moral of this story is to always use protection.

I haven’t posted anything in, like, forever.

It’s not that I’m not drawing.  I’ve started more drawings than I can count.  I just haven’t finished any of them.  Though @tgweaver showed off this little program called Doodl in a recent stream of his.  Somehow, it’s simplicity and lack of tools makes it easier for me to carry drawings closer to completion.

Though, still not quite, in the case of Rebel here.

A friend was organizing a D&D campaign.

One of the guys convinced myself and every other player to quietly roll up members of a gnome mafia instead of a normal party.

I played the muscle of the group; a 2-foot tall brick of muscle who perpetually smokes stogies.

I put a lot more effort into this than I originally planned.

This is a portrait of a character a friend of mine is playing in a D&D campaign with me; a tiefling with albinism named Ankai’is.  Her interests include fire, fireballs, covering her face, setting people on fire, lizard dudes, and burning things to a crisp.

The might of a War God given form. She can crush castles with her bare hands. Her bare skin cannot be pierced by the weapons of men, even their machines of war. A mere huff of rage she could melt the armor of a whole army to their own skins, and poison the Earth upon which they die to never grow for a thousand years. Too bad she's a big softy and wouldn't hurt a fly.

A while ago I made this doodle of a character I’ve been playing in D&D; Peryath of clan Boethiev, lawful-evil paladin of Tiamat.  A friend wanted to try running an “evil” campaign.  He made an “evil overlord” type character to dole out “evil” missions to our party, but I managed to hijack leadership of the party with my own goals to bring my religion to a nearby city.  It’s been a lot of fun.
