it finally makes a return to the public eye .... here’s the deleted invader zim scene from the episode abducted!

i managed to get in contact with the original uploader of the video that had been copyright claimed by viacom on youtube for years during which we had no way to view it but they were able to retrieve it for me!

it was apparently cut for time and because jhonen wanted less action in the episode.

this is actually a pretty important scene lore-wise since it adds to the evidence that irken PAKs will act outside of the host’s will when they are incapacitated

yeah it sucks that all the kids in dib’s class are mean to him but imagine if there was a kid with a skin condition in your class and some other kid tried to beat the shit out of him for it daily… id be mean to him too

Zim’s skin is green, sure, but his reaction isn’t denial, it’s nervous silence; that’s the reaction of someone with a skin condition.

His weird behavior is obviously from having to skip school for his life prior due to his medical condition.

His sensitivity to water is obviously from the same thing that turned his skin green. And he’s not hurt by treated water, so that means he’s just really sensitive to water pollution.

He’s severely allergic to many foods, including peas, barbecue sauce, beans, pizza… everything, really. Food allergies aren’t really that uncommon, and he’s clearly ill even before eating them.

Because of his skin condition, exposure to grease causes him to develop really bad acne.

Zim is a germaphobe due to him being so sickly and sensitive to skin irritants.

Although he actually is an alien, he seems to be, for all intents and purposes, a weird kid who’s severely ill. His classmates pity him, and are mad at Dib for accusing him of being paranormal- after all, they already believe that Dib is acting out for attention, what with always claiming to see supernatural stuff like bigfoot.
