On May 17 Luka Gordic, who was a son, brother, boyfriend and friend, was killed in Whistler Village this past long weekend. He was attacked, beaten and stabbed multiple times by a group of 6 people who had no reason in doing what they did. We’re trying to raise awareness about what happened and get as many people to join the group Justice for Luka here on facebook and sign a petition as well. The petition is to charge the perpetrators as adults (since three are 17 and one is 18-already charged as an adult) and to up the charges from manslaughter (no intent) to 1st or 2nd degree murder. He was provoked the entire day and then ambushed when he wasn’t expecting it. The petition is set out to be Luka’s voice and to bring justice in the case of his death. It take’s only a few seconds and the more signatures we get the more likely we are to bring an awareness and hopefully change the outcome of this case! He was an amazing human being, and we need to stand up for him now when he can’t do it himself. Everyone is thinking of you Luka, rest in peace angel, you’ll always be with us.
