Nikola Tesla
[insp]
Sanctuary â Nikola Tesla in every episode: ăRevelations, part IIă
@serbiangenius continued from X
âAlright, fine, Iâll help you find it.â She agreed. âSHIELD probably took it to inspect it if we canât find it, but it would put it past me if one of the guys took it to try to prank you, they do that sometimes.â
Nikola looked at her and gave her a wry smile. He knew that SHIELD would not take his stuff. They knew better. He would blow their power quickly. âNo, they may be immature my dear but not that much.â He said. He put a hand on her shoulder and gave it a comforting squeeze. âLetâs go.â He said to her. He began to walk his sense for magnetics hopefully drawing him to his stuff. He had worked hard on it and heâd be damned if he let it go. âIâve been meaning to ask, where did they send you to for your mission?â He asked.Â
Helen: Nikola? Will: You know where he is. Nikola: Kinda?
@serbiangenius from x
    â I know, â Helen murmured, reaching up to gently lay her hand over his.     â I know and I appreciate it. Iâm not lying to     you, Nikola, I truly am remembering⊠itâs     simply⊠well memories of a person are just     a little bittersweet when theyâre gone. â
Nikola listened to what she said and then frowned. He recalled young Ashley. The girl Helen had lost. A girl Nikola and Druitt had killed to avenge. His mind the focused on James and Nigel. His friends were now gone. âI supoose youâre right as always.â He conceded the point. He then sighed softly and began to pace. It wasnât fair they had lost their friends and family. He had to think of a way to bring them back. Even to his own mind it was a crazy idea. âWeâve lost a lot of people havenât we? Some of them flesh and blood.â He said quietly.  Though he had hid it he felt the losses most acutely. âMaybe whatever god is out there will give us a break?â He asked with a sneer. He didnât believe in god never had done but it was just a turn of phrase.Â
@corpseshelen
Nikola looked worriedly over at James. The man seemed to have gotten tired and looked a little under the weather. Nikola didnât want to lose anyone else. He had already lost Nigel. He wouldnât let anything happen to James. âSit down, youâre going to do yourself an injury old man.â He teased to hide his true concern. He offered James some brandy. âHere, drink this. I feel antisocial drinking alone.â  he said pouring himself one too. He was purposely side tracking James to make him slow down just a bit.Â

Nikola looked carefully at the young woman who was before him. How she had got here he didnât know. âWho are you?â He asked his voice heavily accented. He had not long since grasped most of the English language.Â
@serbiangenius
   âYeah, um. That doesnât seem safe. At all.â
âYouâre being dramatic. I know what Iâm doing kid. Iâve been doing this for over a century.â Nikola snapped. âI think youâll fine itâs perfectly safe.â He told his younger associate. He smirked at him challenging him to dispute it.Â

{đŒ} âYou wonât believe how many people like to ask that question.â If she had a penny each time they did ask, she would probably have enough for a nice trip to the Maldives. Personally, she didnât understand the fascination; when they asked doctors, they were looking for a noble quality, when they asked pathologists, they were looking for a MORBID, quirky answer to satiate their curiousity. The answer was never quite satisfactory though. âThereâs no great reason though, I was around hospitals a lot when I was younger; being a doctor never appealed to me, I wanted to find out more about the inner workings of the human body, so this was a better choice, being able to work at my own pace, and do my own research. â âNot much, but people tend to think otherwiseâ thatâs where all the fiction about zombies and the undead comes from, probably.â
Nikola looked at her with a short laugh. The reason she wanted to be a pathologist was curiosity about the human body. He found that refreshing. His eyes were bright and he looked more comfortable than ever.  âWell, itâs a good reason to want to be a pathologist. Though a little surprising.â He commented with a wry smile on his face. At the comment about zombies and the undead he gave a snort of amusement. âSome really have a vivid imagination.â He said with a shurg of his shoulder. He didnât think zombies were likely even after all the Abnormals he had seen and himself being half vampire. He crossed his arms over his chest. âHow long have you been doing this for?â He asked meaning pathology. He wanted to know more about her.Â
He also wanted to try and recruit her for the Sanctuary. She had an able mind and was sweet natured. âI wonder if youâd like to examine more interesting subjects?â He asked with a raise of his brow as if to challenge her. Of course he would not make this offer to everyone.Â

Nikola looked around him feeling more annoyed than anything. He had been dragged here to collect Druitt. The psychopath had gone Jack the Ripper on them again but this time the Avengers had gotten involved. âExcuse me, Iâm Professor Tesla.â He introcused himself. He was sure Johnny had spilled the beans about The Five. He looked at the man with annoyance. âMy superior has asked me to collect John Druitt from this facility.â He commented. His breathing was easy and his eyes were frosty. He was angry at John for going back to the mass murderer heâd been in 1888.Â
â Genius? Â In what would would a âgeniusâ whoâs âplans go off without a hitchâ would even think of using his best friend as bait? No one.â
Nikola looked at her with incredulity. âOkay, maybe that was a bad move.â He admitted with a slight smirk. He knew things had gone well in the end. âAdmit it though. Things went well.â He commented. He then placed a hand on her shoulder. His gaze was more serious. âAny ideas that involve human bait are off the table okay?â He asked.Â
