Bo had was half-way done with sorting through new stock in the backroom, now all hot and sweaty from the heavy lifting. Running a hand through his hair to fix the dark strands that stuck to his forehead. Taking a deep exhale as he restlessly rocked back and forth on his toes.
He’d been missing his wife, Grace, for a hot minute. He knows not to bother her when it comes down to business stuff. However, this time around, he couldn’t help himself. So he took a towel from his back pocket, dabbed his face to be rid of his sweat, then stepped out the backroom. Calling out to his daughter with a subtle nod of his head.
“Ay, Lisa! Go get ya mama for me, real quick. Need sum help here.”
The young girl simply nodded in response and stepped out from behind the counter. Walking over to the other side of the dirt road. Fetching her mama like he asked. Lisa walked right in and told her mom—
“Daddy wants you.”
Grace nodded her head and stepped aside, letting her daughter take the cashier role in her store. Walking across, like many other times. Arriving at Bo’s store and walking inside looking at Bo with a tilted head.
“Ya needed me for somethin?”
Bo simply nodded his head, speaking up with a subtle nod towards the backroom. “Need some help with this new stock, wanted to get it ready for tomorrow.”
He knew he could’ve had his fellow workers help but…Bo just wanted to see his wife again after being particularly worn from work this time around. Grace was fine with helping him with whatever, he’d always helped her in the past, before they were married and when they were kids.
It had been close to half an hour of restocking and assorting fresh produce for the couple. While they worked, they spoke about how their day was going so far. Grace asking if Lisa was doing her part in helping, along with certain chores. There wasn’t much for Grace to help with, since Bo had done most of it. Despite that, she did her best and it was about time for her to take her leave, and attend to her own store again.
“Welp, that’s all of it. I’ll see ya later today…” Grace said, looking at him with a subtle, yet warm smile.
“Mhm, love ya, I’ll see ya later.” Bo replied smoothly, pulling the woman close to him and leaning forward to peck a quick kiss to her lips—However, he didn’t feel her lips against his. Bo’s expression dropped a little, looking at Grace, confused and almost a bit offended. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
“Hm..? The hell…” Bo hummed in slight confusion, his hands moving down to her waist to pull her close again. Grace only pushed a hand against his chest and backed up. She acted nonchalantly at his reaction, even though on the inside, ahe was greatly amused by his reaction. She was well aware of his need to please her and love on her. She took advantage of it sometimes, just to tease him though. It was a sweet sight, to see him frown from not being able to kiss her. “What’s this about? I aint done nothin’, did I?”
“Mm-Mmh. I just gotta get back over there quick. You know how those folks are.” Grace shrugged her shoulders and walked towards the door. Bo was still wondering what was up. She usually let him kiss her, so what was up now? He didn’t give up though, managing to give her a quick kiss on the cheek before she stepped out the door. “Alright then…I’ll see ya later.”

they don’t seem like the type of person who would get on their knees for anyone, given their overly serious and intimidating first impression, not even if the lord above were to appear before them and perform miracles for them to watch. yet when it comes to you, their beloved girlfriend, you never need to say a single word before finding them dropping down to the floor to lift your skirt to your waist and pull down your underwear as if it’s what they’ve been waiting to do all day. they act like it’s a chore, but treat it like their deepest passion, sucking on your delicate little clit like it’s candy and lapping up your juices without wanting to waste a single drop of your sweetness. it’s almost funny how they usually don’t even do anything more intense than a quick peck on a cheek in public and have most too afraid to look them directly in the eye, but behind closed doors, they’re all over you with nothing less than the desire to make ecstasy run through your veins until you unravel like a ribbon.

they live to tease you and push all your buttons, acting all innocent like they don’t know exactly what they’re doing by denying you of your orgasm. you can feel their stupid smirk against your heat while you whine for more, pleas that don’t go unnoticed, but go unfulfilled because they are having far too much fun denying you of your orgasm. maybe they’re dragging it out just to listen to more of your adorable sounds, crying out their name and begging them to humor you by letting you sum just once, yet all they do is tut in a disappointed tone as if you were asking for too much. they were having far too much fun to allow it to end so soon, wouldn’t you indulge them for just a little bit longer?

soft and gentle, they occasionally check in on you to ensure that you’re alright and feeling good, because all they want to do is make you feel good. this is a way for both of you to relax and grow closer together, even if they insist you don’t need to return the favor. you seem to melt into them while they’re between your thighs, looking up at you with their big dark eyes to watch you fall apart as if you were ice cream on a hot summer’s day. they’re a little messy with it, getting their spit and your slick everywhere, coating your inner thighs and their lower face with clear gloss while they feast on you, but to them, it’s a display of their carnal desires and affections for you, something that runs as hot as your skin, and something that’s as beautiful as the look on your face when you finish.
annie, samuel “sammie” moore
you can’t help but feel a little nervous every time they go down on you, as if this occasion would finally be the day that they snap and sink their fangs into your skin, even though they promise you that they would never do anything of the sort. why would they want to hurt their darling when they’re just trying to make you feel good? it feels like a joke whenever they say that because you know all about their sadistic tendencies, especially with the way their nails dig into your thighs to leave lasting marks and the way their sharp teeth occasionally scrape against your clit. the adrenaline rush only helps to heighten your arousal, and it makes them chuckle because they can smell the lust radiating from you and can hear your heart rate increasing as your climax approaches. even when frightened, you manage to be so cute that they could just devour your whole, but that isn’t going to happen until they’ve had their fill of fun threatening your mortal life.

Your car comes to a stop and you turn the engine off before stepping out of the vehicle. You cup a hand above your eyes, blocking your face from the sun so you can read the sign 'Bo Chow and Co. Delta Grocery & Market.'
Your heels click along the wooden floor as you enter the shop, hoping that you'll be able to find what your looking for. The inside of the shop looked very well stocked, like it could have everything a person could want. You hoped that was true.
You look for the candy section and immediately scan the variety. You almost missed it. It was hidden in the far back but you found it. Snickers chocolate bar. You grab a few bars that should last you a good while.
You look around at the rest of the store as you slowly make your way to the cash register. You hear a door open and close and footsteps come nearer. "If you're ready, I can ring you up over here." A man says.
You nod and pick up the pace, not looking at him while you admire a few flowers beside you. You place your chocolate on the counter and the man let's out a low whistle sound. "You must really like snickers." He jokes.
You rummage through your purse for your money. "You can say that I guess. They stopped selling them at my local store where I'm from. I heard it was being sold here so I thought I'd come check it out." You glance up at the man for the first time since you got here and your breath hitched in your throat.
You swore this man in front of you has got to be the most beautiful man you've ever laid your eyes on.
He raises a brow, "yeah? And where is it that you're from, if you don't mind me askin'?"
"Friars Point, the next town over."
"And they don't got Snickers bars?" He holds up one of them before tutting, "what a damn shame."
"It really is," you sigh. "But, I must say, this place seems a lot nicer than my local store." You glance around you, "you got a lot more stuff. Maybe I should come here more often."
He shrugs with a smirk, "You're welcome any time. Wouldn't hurt to see a pretty face like yours more often." He said it so casually, having no idea that your heart rate quickened at the compliment. The air in the room starts to feel much warmer now.
He places the last chocolate bar in a bag, "is that all?"
You hesitate for a second, glancing around for anything that can keep you here with him a little longer. Your eyes fall back onto the individual flowers and you pluck one up. "Actually, I'll get this too."
"That'll be forty five cents." You hand him the money and he gives you your bag with a warm smile.
"Thank you Mr...." you trail off with an expected look.
"You can call me Bo."
Ohhhh so he's the owner of this store. "Well Bo, I'll be seeing you again."
"I look forward to it. Have a nice day."
-
You come back a few days later, much sooner than you initially planned to when you first stepped foot in the shop. But once you laid your eyes on Bo Chow, you knew you had to see him again.
The bell above the door chimes when you walk in. You hide your disappointment when you don't immediately see Bo. You walk around the store to see if there's anything new. Your back is facing the back door when you hear it swing open and a familiar voice behind you. "Back so soon?"
You smile to yourself before turning around. Your breath catches when you see him again. How has he managed to look even more handsome than the first time?
"My mama saw my new stash, wanted some for herself. I don't like sharin'." You say with a shrug, earning a chuckle from him.
"Got a brand new stock waitin' for ya then." He points to the candy section and you give him a sweet smile before heading over.
When he rings you up, he hands you another flower, similar to the one you grabbed the first time. "No charge."
You take it from him with a flirty grin, your fingers brushing his as you do so. "Thank you Bo."
"Until next time darlin'."
You continuously make the drive to the next town over just to see Bo, using another lame excuse that your local store ran out of something or your mama wanted more candy. That is until you finally decide to take the initiative and come forward.
"Y'know, I'm startin' to think you're comin' here to see me now." He says when he sees you walk in like the many times you have before.
You shrug, "I had nothin' to do. Figured I wanted a different kind of candy." You bite your lip as you glance him up and down.
Bo chuckles, "stay as long as you want. You won't hear me complainin' over here."
The two of you share flirty glances as you walk around the store while he rings up customer after customer. You pick up a bottle of wine and saunter over to the counter. Bo's smile widens and he places his hands on the counter in excitement when he sees you.
You set the wine down on the counter. "So, what do you do for fun 'round here?"
"Gamblin' is my type of fun but uh..." he doesn't hide the way he checks you out, his eyes lingering on your left hand to see the lack of a wedding band. "I don't mind hearin' any suggestions."
You grin and lean over the counter, giving him a perfect view of your chest. You pick up the wine he just placed in a paper bag. "Well I just got this lovely bottle right here. It'd be a shame to share it all alone."
Bo leans forward so that your faces are just a few inches away. "You married?"
"No sir. You?"
He shakes his head, "No ma'am. I'll come by at 6."
"I'll cook."
You write down your address on a slip of paper he gives you as he rings you up. "I'll see ya later." He calls out and you give a flirty wave before walking out the door.
-
Being with Bo has made you the happiest you've ever been. That night you invited him over was perfect. You ate dinner, shared the wine you bought, and overall got to know him better. You're in love with this man and you wouldn't have it any other way.
His face lights up when you enter the store, just like it always does. He quickly ushers you over, grabbing your hand and leading you into the back room. As soon as the door shuts, his mouth is on yours.
"I missed you," he mutters against your lips.
"I missed you too. Especially these." You take his bottom lip between your teeth with a tug before releasing it. The next kiss is all smiles as he chuckles.
"An old friend came by" he mutters between kisses.
"Oh yeah?" You start to trail your mouth lower, latching onto his neck.
"Mhm." He tilts his head to make more space for you. "Says him and his brother are openin' up a juke joint. Tonight. Said I could bring whoever I want."
You continue to run your hands up and down his chest as he speaks. "So?" You give him an expected look.
"You wanna go?" You drag your hands up to his neck, toying with the hairs in the back as you think. "There'll be drinks, dancin'-"
"Yes" you say immediately. You'll go anywhere with him. He chuckles before kissing you again.
"A'right I gotta get back to work." He gives you one last, long kiss before opening the door. He gives you a light smack on your ass when he leads you out of the back room. "I'll pick you up later. I love you."
"I love you too Bo." You give him one last peck before leaving the shop.
-
A few hours later and the juke joint is packed with people, many of them quickly becoming your friends. You got along well with Annie, Smoke's lady. Her and Grace, an old friend of Bo's, gave you all of the scoop on Bo and the twins. It seems everyone has history, leaving you to feel a little left out.
You were dancing with Bo when you hear gunshots go off. You cover your ears and duck. Bo wraps his arms protectively around you when you see Mary quickly run out of the building.
Bo grabs your hand as you and everyone else start crowding the closet door.
"What the hell is goin' on?"
"Who's shootin' in there?"
You hear people say. After a few minutes of people panicking and worrying, Slim walks out and quickly closes the door.
"Hey Slim, who the fuck is shootin' man?" Bo asks him immediately but is ignored.
"Party's over ya'll." Slim announces.
Everyone starts groaning and complaining while Bo starts to thank everyone and usher them out. You join in, making sure everyone leaves and steps away from the closed closet door.
Once everyone's out, Slim tells you the truth. "We've got a problem ya'll." He explains what happened and your hold on Bo tightens. "Annie said to get everyone out, that includes you two." He gestures to the two of you.
"What?!" Bo exclaims. Pointing to the closed door, he continues, "Man just lost his brother Slim! We can't just leave!"
Slim holds his hands up to silence Bo. "I know, I know. But you gotta go."
You swallow harshly, conflicted with what to do. But if Smoke wants everyone out, you should listen. "Bo, let's just go. If Smoke needs us to leave, then let's leave."
You can tell he wants to argue, wants to stay and be a good friend, but he ultimately agrees. "Yeah okay. Let's go to the car." He grabs your hand, "you tell Smoke I'm here if he needs anything a'right Slim?" He says over his shoulder. Slim nods and waves goodbye.
-
There's so much you wished would've gone differently that night. What would've happened if you hadn't walked out that door? If you listened to Bo? Would things be different? Or would your fate of death be the same?
Out of all the questions that continuously cloud your mind, one was the loudest. Would you still have Bo?
As soon as you stepped foot out of that juke joint, you were attacked. You can still remember the feeling of his teeth piercing the skin of your shoulder, the blood gushing out of you as you stared at Bo who's fate was the same as yours. You remember reaching out to each other on the floor as the two of you bled out.
You remember everything going dark and then waking up again. But this time, you felt different. You heard thoughts that weren't your own. You turn to see Bo who's also awake. How are you alive?
You remember the pleased look on the white man's face, Remmick was his name. He told you his plan, his desire to get to Sammie. You're not sure why you were different, why you were the only one not under the same trance as everyone else, Bo included.
You tried to get him to run away with you, to leave this cult behind, but he refused. So you left. And you never looked back, until now.
You came back home to Friar's Point to visit your parents' grave. Sadness washes over you as you think of all of the family and friends you've outlived since becoming a vampire. Your mind wanders back to Bo. You wonder if he survived or if he died like everyone else that night.
You haven't heard of or seen any sight of him since you ran away. You debated on asking someone at the city hall to see if they've heard of anything but they probably wouldn't.
Feeling a sense of nostalgia, you decide to drive to the next town over. You drive down the street of what shops you'd frequently visit, more specifically Bo's grocery market. You let out a sad sigh as you look at the new stores that have changed over time.
The Black Bird cafe is now a Starbucks. King Tamales place is now a bakery. Rosenthal Ice Co is still an ice cream shop, just under a different brand name. Fourth Street Pharmacy and Barber is now a laundry mat.
You sit up straighter in your seat as you near Bo's old shop, curious to see what it is now. You thought you were dreaming when you read the name. No, it can't be.
'Chows Groceries' the illuminated sign said. You try not to get your hopes up as you stare at the sign. Perhaps it's a family member of his? Chow is also a common Chinese name, perhaps they're not related at all.
Glancing around at the other stores, this one is the only one that's still open this late at night. Curiosity getting the best of you, you park the car and enter the shop.
As soon as you step in, you felt a wave of nostalgia wash over you. The place looked completely different but the product displays are in the same spots. The candy, the flowers, the alcohol, all of them are exactly where they were when you first stepped foot all those years ago. Except the alcohol is locked away now.
You don't see any workers yet. You walk around the store, and when you reach the candy section, you can't help but smile sadly as you pick up a Snickers bar. The back door opens and you stiffen when you hear someone speak.
"Welcome in!" Two words and you already recognize that voice. All these years and you still remember. How could you ever forget a single part of him?
You turn around just as the man's back faces yours to stock up the cigarettes behind the counter. You linger as you wait for him to turn back around. You grab a snickers bar and place it on the counter. You clear your throat, catching his attention.
"Find everything a'righ-" he cuts himself off when his eyes land on you. Your breath catches in your throat. Looking at him again, you feel the same butterflies in your stomach just like you did the first time you met back in 1932.
"I'm sorry, have we met? You look oddly familar-"
"Bo" you interrupt. His eyes widen. You watch as his face contorts through different stages of emotions. He looks like he's seen a ghost when the realization finally hits him.
"Y/n?" You nod and he immediately rounds the counter to pull you into his arms. Tears fall down your face when you're engulfed in his familar scent, feeling his body against yours.
He let's out a teary laugh when he pulls away to cup your face. "I can't believe it's you."
"Me neither." You laugh. "I missed you so much."
"I missed you too." He leans his forehead against yours. "So fuckin' much." His eyes stay on yours for a few seconds longer. He leans in, hesitating, before pulling away and clearing his throat. "Haven't gotten sick of these yet?" He chuckles when he glances down at the counter and picks up the snickers bar.
"As long as they keep makin' them, no." He chuckles again and scans the bar before placing it in a bag. You don't miss the way he glances down at your left hand. "You married?"
He meets your gaze as a sly grin forms, "no ma'am. You?"
You shake your head, "No sir."
He leans over the counter so that his face is inches from yours, "then get over here right fuckin' now." You round the corner and he wastes no time in grabbing your waist and pulling you close, his lips slamming onto yours.
You sigh at the familiarity of his mouth on yours. God you missed it so much. No one has ever come close to the feeling of his, to him in general. "Fuck, these lips. Been dreamin' about them every single day since that night."
You whimper against his mouth as his grip on your waist tightens before wrapping his arms around you, pulling you impossibly closer. "There's not a single second that's passed where I'm not thinkin' about you baby." He pulls away to cup your cheeks with earnest eyes. "I tried to look for you but I didn't know where you had gone. I couldn't find you."
You carress his cheek and he leans further into your touch. "I'm sorry Bo. But I'm here now, and I ain't leavin' you again."
His eyes shimmer in the shop lights as he stares at you with so much love. "After all these years... you're still as beautiful as the day I lost you," he says in such disbelief. He knew he missed you, but he hadn't realized how much until this very moment. With you here, in his arms. He can breathe again.
"Well I am immortal after all." You tease. He lets out a low, breathless chuckle. God did he miss you.
"No, it's not that. It's just...you." He kisses you again, longer, deeper, and with more passion than you've ever known. He lifts you onto the counter before immediately invading the space between your legs. "Lemme show you how much I missed you."
Clothes scatter around the floor of the shop. You fall apart on his tongue, while he savors your taste like a man whose been starved for a hundred years. After that, he takes you home and makes love to you all night, making up for all the times you two have been apart.
He makes you his over and over again. And he'll keep doing it as long as you both shall live, forever.
"I'm still in love with you." He says later while the two of you are laying in bed.
You look up at him with a smile and give him a soft kiss. "Me too." In that moment, it feels as if nothing had ever changed, despite everything that has.

Bo Chow taglist: @moonlitglasspen lmk if you'd like to be added or removed :)
You were out in the town, having a fine day. The sun was shining, but there was a subtle breeze that made it somewhat bearable. You needed to pick up a few things for dinner…so you decided to go pay your husband’s store a visit. He had plenty of necessities and food ingredients, so he was the best option for just about anything. Plus, you just wanted to bother him.
Bo was looking out the window, it was a bit of a slow day for him after all. He saw you walk up to the store and he quickly formed a smile. When you walked through those doors, he spoke up.
“Good afternoon. What cha need, honey?” He leaned forward over the counter, palms against the flat surface of the sturdy wood. Looking at you so softly, like you were his everything. You chuckled and pressed against the counter. “Just needed to pick up a couple things for dinner tonight.” Bo quirked an eyebrow at you with interest, a sly smirk replacing the warm smile on his fave. “You cookin? What cha got planned?” You shrugged your shoulders and played dumb.
“Dunno yet. And it’s a surprise, I’m sure you’ll like it.”
Bo scoffed at your feigned ignorance and stood up straightly with arms crossed against his chest. Tilting his head at you.
“So I’m just gonna have to wait and see, huh?”
“Yup.”
“Whatever, go get what ya need.”
He leaned over the counter to press a kiss against your lips. His lips were soft and had a subtle sweetness to them. Like he had been previously eating some candy bar before you stopped by. He kissed you softly, yet passionately—and you kissed him back, equally as soft. Then you broke away the kiss—and he tried to chase your lips again. A small smirk formed on your face at the thought of something…Unable to hide your smirk of mischief. “Actually…could I talk to ya for a moment? Privately?”
You subtly pointed your gaze towards the supply closet behind you. His expression shifted into confusion for a moment, then into curiosity. He took a look around for a second…he supposed nobody had been coming in super often. They could go without someone in attendance for a small moment. He then nodded.
“Uh, sure.”
He stepped out from behind the counter and you followed him into the closet. You then closed the door and locked it behind you. “So, what’d you need to talk abou—“ You pulled him close and pressed your lips against his. The kiss was rougher—more passionate than before. He didn’t back out, only holding you by the hips to pull you impossibly close to him. The two of you chest to chest. He opened his mouth a little, allowing you to explore his mouth with your tongue. Letting out a satisfied hum when you did so. “Hmphh….” You occasionally licked his lips and swirled your tongue inside his mouth. Tracing the roof of his mouth and the inside of his cheeks. Then you pulled away and he took the opportunity to catch his breath and talk. “H-Hey…what if people are expectin’ me?” He didn’t truly care about that—honestly, he was too caught up with making out with you to care. You gave him a look. And he read it perfectly well.
“Right, right…”
He pressed his lips against yours again and moved one of his hands down to untie his apron—but you caught his wrist before he could. “Nah, keep it on.” He nodded his head obediently and guided you over to the small, but sturdy table. Sitting you down on it as he continued to kiss you. His kisses moving down from your jaw to your neck, softly sucking on your soft skin. Not enough to blossom into little bruises, however. You smirked and pulled away to take off your panties, sliding them off of you. Bo proceeded to tug down his suspenders and lift up the apron he wore—Hurriedly pulling himself out of his pants, aching and hard just for you. You leaned back on your elbows and watched him. You could see that there was a bit of precum already leaking out of him just from all the heated kissing. He then pressed the head of his dick against you—and slid himself inside you, holding your hip like he needed something to keep him grounded. A soft moan escaped from you, meanwhile Bo released a shaky sigh at the feeling of you around his hardened dick.
“Haah…(feels like heaven…)”
He began pumping his cock inside of you, holding onto your hip tightly with his free hand. “F-Fuckk Bo…” You gripped his shoulders tightly and moaned into his ear. He shuddered and twitched inside you from every little noise that escaped your lips. You smirked at his reaction and cooed into his ear. “Feel good, don’t it, Bo?” He nodded his head and ducked his head into the crook of your neck. Moaning unabashedly against your skin, thrusting into you faster and harder now. He knew he had responsibilities to get to…but he couldn’t afford to care. The fact he was doing something he shouldn’t be, made him even more turned on.
Before he knew it, he was on the brink of cumming already. He pulled his head away from your neck and looked at you properly. “Oh—! Baby, I think…m’gonna cum already. Feel so damn good!” You smiled at him cheekily and shook your head. Pecking a kiss to his lips before you spoke up teasingly. “C’mon…think you can hold out longer, hm?” You purred, raising a hand to trace his jawline. He whined and nodded his head, he slowed down his pace a bit though. Knowing if he kept it up, he’d definitely cum without you being ready to—And before you allowed him to. He kept fucking into you, deep…but not fast like before. Letting you feel every inch of him—feel the way his head nudged against your sweet spot. He dripped you harder, enough to bruise. It definitely hurt a bit but you didn’t mind it. The pain felt damn near pleasurable in the moment. “Ahh…that’s it, Bo. You can go a little faster for me.” He let out a breathless laugh as nodded his head. He took a shaky exhale as he thrusted faster into you, still trying his best not to release before you did.
You moaned at the feeling and pulled him into a deep and sloppy kiss. Grunting and moaning into his mouth at every deep thrust inside you. He perfected hit that sweet spongey spot every time. You raised one of your hands to grip at his hair, lightly tugging at the sweaty strands. He laughed and released more noises of pleasure at it. He let out soft moans and begs for you to let him have his release. Tears prodding at his eyes, needing to cum more than anything. You grew increasingly more sensitive to his thrusts, feeling a familiar sensation of tightness just below your stomach. You were close to cumming—“Ahh…fuck, so deep in me. Gonna cum soon..!”
Bo nodded his head in understanding and stayed with the pace he set. Knowing it was perfect for you. “Uhuh—I got ya, baby…f-fuck, can I cum too? (Please, baby. Can’t keep it in no more.)” You nodded your head and held onto him tighter. Your face burried into his neck, your moans coming out muffled against his skin. And you finally released—gushing around his dick with a poorly muffled yell of pleasure. He came shortly after you did. Hot spurts of sticky white shot out of his dick, filling you up with it. Softly nudging his hips to help through the intense pleasure. It…took a moment before it finally stopped, and he pulled out. The two of you caught your breath afterwards. Bo finally speaking up after god knows how long. “Hah…you felt so damn good, honey. Let’s…get properly adjusted, yeah?”
The two of you got dressed again, and Bo let you have some water. Cleaned up whatever sweat ya had on yourself and kissed ya sweetly. He didn’t exactly get all neated up like you did. He came out the room looking disheveled, while you looked as good as you did when you entered. And he proceeded to get back to work.
“Sinners” turns ONE-YEAR-OLD today! Originally released on April 18th, 2025 and wow what a year it’s been for this incredible movie! I did a slight update on my original print. Tons of people asked where Bo Chang was (he was warming up the car) so I added him to the party. I also added in the great Buddy Guy and the modern version of Stack and Mary! You and Bo had been quietly married for the past ten years. Shared the most intimate moments together and told each other your secrets. Bo was always an attentive man. He knew what you liked and didn’t like…knew what turned you on the most. How you liked to be touched and held…When his fingers would ghost over your soft skin to soothe you after a long day in the Mississippi sun. Every friday, the two of you would go out to a neat little diner and talk about nothing special, just soaking in each other’s company and warmth. He’d get you little gifts of jewelry even when you never asked. Get you what you wanted if he had the money saved for it. He was honest and unashamed by how much he loved you.
On occasion, he’d go out and hang out with his guy friends. Those troublesome twins from back when they were kids. The man had a bit of a gambling habit, he’d win decent money every now and then. He was pretty damn skilled at poker, from what you’d come to know. One day, however his two friends had left for seven years. This took a bit of a toll on him…he didn’t have his best friends to fool around and play poker with. Though, playing some randoms with still fun—he was just less of himself during those rounds.
But then, they returned.
Bo told you they had plans for a grand opening of a juke joint out of the blue. You found it a bit suspicious…but you certainly weren’t about to press Bo to find answers about how they got that money. Frankly, you were far too tired at the time to even worry about it that much. He also told you that he needed to get supplies ready to help them for the event. At the time, you were dealing with one helluva headache—head pounding harder than banging drums. All you wanted to do was rest when you got home, so you didn’t go with him to help things get set up. He understood, of course. So when the two of you got home he made sure to stir up something that would help with your headache and hopefully relax you. Before he left, he stayed in bed with you and let you cuddle up to him. Eventually, he reminded himself that he had to get ready for the big event…and he promised you that he’d be back later that night.
But he never did come home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You’d woken up confused…wondering why he wasn’t right next to you, or anywhere else in the house. You decided to check outside—car wasn’t there. You went by to check his store and noticed he also wasn’t there. No car or nothing. And you swore there were way less people wandering around than normal. “This is weird…” Is what you thought to yourself. Half the folk who were usually around, weren’t. And your Bo? Nowhere to be seen. So you checked your usual dining spot, hoping to talk to someone about the vibes being completely off. Luckily the woman who ran the place was there. You walked inside and approached the front counter.
“Um, excuse me ma’am…has it been empty today?”
The woman scoffed and nodded her head, seemingly just as confused by the situation. “Some of my regulars ain’t even showed up. They’re here daily and around the same time as always. Got no clue where these folks are at.”
You hummed in thought. Letting out a saddened sigh before you spoke up again. “Mhm…my man hadn’t come home last night. And I know he ain’t the one to cheat, been together ten years.”
The woman’s face shifted into something more sympathetic than confused, leaning against the counter more comfortably. “Aw…well ain’t that somethin’. Think he got lost?”
You shook your head and released a scoff. “I’m sure he’s memorized every road to our house, so I doubt it.”
“Shit…Think them white folks got something to do with it? Nevermind. How about you sit down and relax a while, hm? I’ll get your usual prepared for ya. On the house.”
And who were you to say no to that? You nodded your head, walked over to one of the tables and sat down. Maybe, you should take your mind off of things for now. You thought about different possibilities of what could be going on. Maybe a shitton of folks were drunk as hell last night and are dealing with the consequences this morning? That’d make sense for people in town but not your Bo…He always came home to you. You were getting increasingly worried by the second—maybe those white folks did do something at that juke joint. Killed every damn person there—you forced yourself to shake away those thoughts. By the time you did, your usual order was ready. You took your time eating, trying to keep your mind off of things. After finishing up everything, you sat there for a moment. Looking around at the very few people that were inside with you. Then you walked out. You suppose there isn’t anything to exactly do but go home. You didn’t know where the juke joint was even located, so you couldn’t go see if he was there. You just had to go carry on with your day, working like normal.
It was like this for the next four weeks. You’d go to work and do your thing, then go home.
Tonight however, you unfortunately found yourself staying later at work than normal. The sun was slowly starting to set while you were cleaning and packing up everything so you can end your day at work and go home. “Ugh…gotta walk home.” You grumbled to yourself. Switching the sign from open to closed, then walked straight out the door. You despises being outside when nighttime was right around the corner. Especially knowing the types of people that lurked during the darkest hours. You stayed wary of your surroundings on the way home, trying your best to get there as quick as possible. You couldn’t lie, your heart was racing. Terrified thinking about what could’ve happened to Bo and the other folk who attended—Then you heard something from amongst the forest you were walking past. The one that was right near you and Bo’s home. On one hand you were curious, on the other hand—absolutely terrified. But you weren’t stupid enough to check it out, so you kept walking, and eventually made it home safely.
When approaching the house, you saw something—Was that Bo’s car? You breathed out a sigh of relief at the sight. That meant he was home and safe…So you walked inside and wondered around the house. Wondering where he was…and he wasn’t around? “The hell…” You muttered. Genuinely, where the hell could he be. The car is right outside. Surely, this wasn’t some stupid prank of his—
You then heard a noise coming from outside.
It sounded like pained grunts coming from the back of the house. Shit—maybe it was actually Bo. You quickly went around the house in a rush and let out gasp at what you saw. Quickly attempting to muffle whatever sound could potentially come out next as to not be noticed.
It was definitely Bo. But he was devouring the fuck out of some poor guy’s neck. Lapping up all the blood and practicing sucking him dry of all the life he had in him. There was blood all over his face and clothes. Still wearing the outfit he went out in. The fuck was going on!? This changed how you perceived whatever the hell happened at that juke joint. Did vampires truly exist—? You were frozen in fear. Unaware of the fact that Bo seemed to have noticed you as well. He slowly risen to his feet and looked at you. Trying to wipe his mouth from the blood—but doing a very poor job at it. He knew he was guilty, that he was caught doing something despicable. Something he had no justification for. His gaze held a certain hunger to it as he spoke up in acknowledgment of you. Acting nonchalant. Like he wasn’t caught by his own wife doing something so monstrous. “Oh, baby! I missed ya like crazy~”
And there it was, that sweet southern drawl that you were missing for damn near a month. But hearing it now—like this, made your stomach twist and your heart sink. Terrified of the scene that’ll forever haunt you. You spoke up without thinking. “What the fuck did you do!? You killed a man!”
“The hell is going on?! You some kind of blood-crazed monster!?”
Bo stood there for a moment. Eyebrows furrowing at being called a monster. Although it was true, he couldn’t deny the bitter taste it left in his mouth when you said those words. “That all I am to ya now? Thought I was your husband—and he had it comin’. Man tried to rob me!” A poor excuse.
“W-What!? That don’t explain shit and you know it!
Bo didn’t deny that. He only tried to get closer to you—you didn’t back away. Instead, you got a slightly better look at his face. You looked at him from head to toe, heart pounding inside your chest. There was blood everywhere and when he opened his mouth to talk. You saw his fangs—pointy…you guessed to be as sharp and deadly as a knife. You’d come to the conclusion that your husband was a vampire. You tried to look past all the blood…you could still recognize the charming, handsome man you married. But he was far different now. Whatever the hell happened at that juke joint, made him something different. Turned him into a monster. Yet somehow, you still felt something for him. Even now, as he stood before you covered in another person’s blood.
He took a step closer to you. “I’ll explain later…after we handle this mess.” He looked down at the man on the ground, devoid of life. You still couldn’t wrap your head around what was going on. “What’s gonna happen to him…? You bit him……what’ll happen now? And whaddya mean ‘handle this’?” You swallowed, sounding even more panicked. Truth be told, you already knew what was going happen. He was going to become whatever Bo was now, a damn bloodsucker. Looking between him and the lifeless man. You took a deep breath, trying to even out your breathing and your pounding heart—To no avail. “…What do we do with him?” You shakily asked. Bo placed his hands over his hips and shifted his weight a bit. Responding in a casual way…eerily casual. It was extremely off putting to you. Bo was never the one to take things lightly when you were clearly upset. Your fears, your emotions—everything was taken seriously by him. This was the clearest example of how much he changed. Beside the fangs and neck biting…
“We can drag ‘im farther from the house. He’ll be back up again soon enough.” He stared at you, awaiting some sort of response or reaction. Eyes boring into yours. His irises were a blank slate—and no pupils. You wondered if they could ever change back…But now wasn’t the time for questioning. You sighed and nodded your head, hoping you wouldn’t regret having to do this. You convinced yourself to suck it up, that the damage was already done. Which was true…Bo already bit him, there was nothing else you could do. You felt helpless in this situation. Bo began to drag him far away behind the house—and you helped him. Your heart felt heavy and you couldn’t get rid of that image in your head of Bo…your husband, hungrily biting the man’s neck. You were scared. What if Bo did the same to you—? Turned you to be just like him. Bo looked over at you while the two of you walked back home. He knew this was bothering you, but for some reason he felt unable to speak up and try to reassure you. What could he really say? He supposed the conversations can wait until they were inside.
You got inside, and Bo immediately started talking. He explained what happened at the juke joint. He tried to go home for the night like he promised to—but he was immediately caught by a vampire. Some pale skinned person did it, from what he could faintly remember seeing. You felt a subtle feeling of guilt—maybe if you went with him, you could’ve helped…or maybe if he stayed with you. But there was one thing that lingered in your mind. “…Why were you gone for nearly an entire month? Why the hell didn’t you come back sooner?” Truthfully, Bo wasn’t sure about how you’d react to his change. And he was also trying to figure himself out. During those four weeks, he’d turned a decent amount of people. Just he get by and satisfy his thirst for blood. But his need to have you near and be with you forever consumed him, and led him crawling right back home. He didn’t respond at all. Just stared and let you figure it out yourself. The thought of your once loving human husband doing something like that, sent a shiver down your spine. The look in his eyes as he looked at you—was softer. Had his eyes returned to brown again? The familiar dark brown that you were used to. Comparable to a cup of black coffee.
“…You outta get cleaned up.”
Bo looked down at himself and nodded. “Mm, yeah. Don’t want all this blood on the precious furniture…and especially not in the bed.” His tone turned sultry, looking back at you with hooded eyes before he walked off into the bathroom. You thought about his comment while he was gone. Something about it made your stomach flutter. You shamed yourself for feeling such a way. He was a vampire—a bloodsucker, a revenant, a creature of the night. You should know better…but you couldn’t help but feel drawn to him. Nor could you deny that particular allure to him.
“they should call you sugar, cause you’re so sweet to me” ~ft Tyler the Creator
Cinnamon and nutmeg aroma wafted throughout your bakery.
The warm aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg wafted through your bakery, a smell you never got tired of. But today was long and draining; you were behind a couple of orders and didn’t get to take your lunch break today. Today was just heavy.
You were just tired, drained really. You and Bo, are shop owners, both business people, always busy. You were the baker, you prided yourself with the work you’ve created, pies, cakes, and some of the sweetest treats people, including yourself, have ever tasted. Yet, you were falling behind, like five orders behind, 1 order of a customized birthday cake, 1 batch of cupcakes and 2 orders of sweet potato pie. The demand was becoming too much, and what surprised you is that you were behind; you always prided yourself on good time management, and now you feel like it's slipping away.
You and Bo worked right across the street from each other. He had his grocery store, with produce and fresh goods at “Chow’s Market”, and you were in your bakery with flour on the counters, frosting in bags to pipe, and your demanding schedule never changing. This past week, you’ve been very tense with all the work overloading you.
Bo was quick to notice. Every morning you left the house early, but sometimes when he would feel you leaving the bed, he’d offer to stay and help you at the bakery, taking calls and helping you with the orders, but you always denied it. You felt he had his own store to manage, his own deliveries to check, and you knew you didn’t want to burn him out.
You walked to the chilled fridge to grab a fresh sheet of dough for the sweet potato pie one of your customers ordered, and you dusted some flour off of your apron. You sprinkled a little bit of flour on the counter, then you brought the bowl filled with sweet potato puree on standby, you will be using it soon.
You sprinkled a light coating of flour onto the baking counter, you grabbed the heavy bowl of dough ad poured the floured surface so it wouldn’t stick to the counter. You grabbed a rolling pin and started to roll the dough into the desired shape, so you create it into a circular shape.
You then grabbed a brush and dipped it into the egg wash, you glance at the bowl with the puree, making sure it is room temperature, needing to make this pie perfect for your customers. You placed the back of your hand on the bowl, and the temperature was perfect.
You then placed the dough you rolled out onto the pan, making sure its In the pie pan correctly you grab a fork and begin digging into the dough light to get those nice lines, you are crimping the dough, after you that brush a light coating of the egg wash onto the crust, gliding along the dough will make the dough when it is all done a beautiful golden brown sweet potato pie.
You genuinely loved to bake, it was therapeutic for you, getting your mind off things as you worked was what you did, but baking has always given you peace and time for yourself. But lately, it was starting to become more of a chore than something you really wanted to do. It’s mainly because you were just overwhelmed and overworked.
You hear Bo’s voice in your head now telling you “Business is booming, it’s a good thing, Suga” and you would agree the success both of your business have made was great, But you also didn’t have to work with how much money Bo was making alone from the grocery store was enough this was something you wanted to do, to pass some time.
Because you two have been working, you more than him, you and Bo haven’t had much time for each other. No late night cuddles, no lazy weekends, especially Saturday mornings, and the one thing you really missed that you wouldn’t admit….was the sex, just quick meaningful hello’s and goodbyes, what what you two shared. To say you were sexually deprived would be a stretch, maybe. But nevertheless you missed your husband in every way. You love your job, but sometimes you just needed a break.
As you pour the sweet potato filling into the crust evenly, you tap the pan on the counter to make sure the filling is all even. You grab the oven handle, opening it, feeling the warmth. You slide the pie onto the oven rack and close it back up. You wipe your apron once again and walk back to the counter to begin the second sweet potato pie.
As you are rolling out the second batch of dough, you hear the bells on the door; someone has entered
A customer you assume, and so as you work, you greet, not even looking up at the customer, the greeting becoming second nature once you hear the chime of bells at the door
“Welcome to the Sweet Spot bakery,” you said, clearing your throat, your eyes trained on making the perfect circle for your pie to go into the pan as your hads move. “We are also out of red velvet and out of blueberry muffins today, but anything else I can get you, I’d be glad to, the menu is on the counter if you need a moment to—“
You were immediately cut off.
Warm hands were on your waist. Fear struck you
You shrieked, thinking an intruder might come in and as you pull away with the rolling pin your hand is ready to be used as a weapon. You pivot on your feet turning around quickly
Your eyes meet the one you love
“Bo?!” you gasped, huffing out air, the tension from your body draining from your shoulder and quickly replaced with relief that you were safe.
Bo had his hands up in surrender with a light chuckle escaping his lips, “Seriously, honey?
“It ain’t funny Bo, you almost ruined my pie! I ain't know it was you coming in, I thought you were a customer or-“
He didn’t let you finish he traps you between him and the counter, tucking you back against the counter, his arms securely around your waist, as he leaned down, kissing your neck right where you loved.
He murmured sweet nothings against your skin, his breath on your neck sent shivers down your spin causing you to squirm. “It’s only me darlin’, and this pie could wait”
You shake your head “No baby, it can’t wait Bo, I have to finish crimpin the crust and get this in the oven, don’t want it staying out here too long, and I’m already so far behind. 5 orders behind, these are two orders, lucky I’m getting this done” you huffed.
He chuckled lowly, a sound that seemed to vibrate your whole being, “That’s what I figured” His hands intricately untied your apron, easily undoing the knot, he moved the apron from around your neck and letting it hit the floor with a light thump.
“How was your day?” he asked, which caught you off guard a bit but you nodded. His hands massaging the small of your back “Busy huh?” he saw the way your eyebrows knit and jaw clenched from the first moment he walked in, he saw the stress evident on your face and he knew that you couldn’t keep working like this .
“Did you get a chance to take a break for your lunch, during your lunch break? Maybe step out for a moment and eat that sandwich I packed for you?" He asked
You stilled for a moment, avoiding gaze and wiping some of the icing from cakes you sold earlier off of the counter. “Of course, Bo, took about a half-hour” you lied smoothly, though if you were anyone else you wouldn’t even believe the lie you told.
He released his arms from you and, turning you to face him, his eyes just a bit serious, a knowing warmth to them
“Ah, so you did now? He asked with his eyebrow arched while looking at me. “Cause I might have heard from Mrs. Miller- who came by to get some eggs from me, that she stopped by here around one, and my wife was too busy rolling out dough and stirring batter to even look up, she said couldn’t take her lunch because “the poor lady was overloaded doing multiple things at once”
Damn, that nice old lady you thought
You sigh with a light nod “Ok, alright, fine, I skipped it. I just had a lot of orders, and people came in today. “Business is booming, remember?” you repeat the words he always said to you, back to him
“I remember,” he said with his voice dropping into a growl and his hands returning to your hips as he caresses them. “And if the business is booming, if that is cutting into my wife taking care of herself and taking a break when she needs to, and I told her that she doesn’t even need to work. Then it ends today”
He didn’t let you finish he traps you between him and the counter, tucking you back against the counter, his arms securely around your waist, as he leaned down, kissing your neck right where you loved.
“When I came in you look like you could practically fall asleep standing up, honey,” he said gently, his lips brushing your forehead
You leaned into his touch, the sudden proximity of Bo was always a calm place for you, you leaned into his chest, inhaling his scent, the mix of cologne, clean clothes, and fresh, earthy smell of produce.
“Five minutes, Bo, just five minutes,” you whisper into his soft shirt, “Just five minutes.”
“Five minutes of real time” he corrected quickly, a soothing rumble right near your ear. He didn’t move, he just held you there, letting you melt in his arms as you needed it.
“You can’t pour from an empty cup, darlin’, you’ve been giving everything to this baby and there’s nothing left for you,” he says
You hear the truth in his words, truly
He held you and eased back slightly, cupping your face in his hands. His eyes, lovingly searching yours, “I missed you today, been missin' you recently, you’ve been working real hard more than usual. I came straight here after I stocked the store up, and just had to remind you that you are the sweetest thing in this whole shop.”
You chuckle at his words
He leans in softly kissing you, reassurance, when your lips met, they danced and washed away all the stress, you instantly responded, your arms sliding up to wrap around his neck, pulling him closer to you.
This was what you needed, what you craved, your husband and the break that has been along waited.
Bo broke the kiss, his breath ragged a bit. His hands drop from your face. “You gon ahead and put that pie in the oven, baby, and I’m right here.”
You nod and grab the pie, walking over to the oven, feeling the heat return as you open it and place it next to the other sweet potato pie.
Instead of going to the sink to clean up, you went to the next section of the counter, where you reached under the counter for a large bag of almond flour, a stick of butter and some eggs, the ingredients for the birthday cupcakes
It clicked for Bo as he saw the ingredients. He watched for a moment and looked at you in disbelief. He walked over to you, his movements straightforward, and he placed his hand over your stopping you from tearing the bag of flour open.
You let out a sigh.
Before you could even turn around, Bo was on you in an instant, kissing you
He lifted you up and set you on the clean counter. You clung to him as he kissed your forehead
“Bo—” you whisper as you pull away
“Enough,” he said sternly, leaving no room for an argument. He moved closer, wrapping his arms around you again. He kissed your neck and whispers in your ear “That pie was the last thing you were making. You may be behind, but you didn’t take a break today either. The pies are the last thing you are making; you are done for the day.”
He kissed your ear tenderly “I’ve been missing you, bed feeling empty when you leave. I need my wife back” he whispered
“Bo, please there is so much work to be done you know I’m behind on orders” you tried to insist
“I don’t care” he whispered back, lips brushing your skin. “I’ll call some of your other bakers to come in, they’ll do the rest.”
You felt your fight fading, the protectiveness and love, combined with the need for him, was too much.
You kissed him and before you knew it he had your panties in your hand. And dress bunched at your hips.
You gasped
“Bo- what if someone sees?” you ask a bit frantically looking at the door, realizing he closed the blinds
“It’s late ain’t nobody coming in here” He stated with ease
“I-I usually get some late customers sometimes” you try to explain
“No one is coming in when you have the sign at the door closed” he kissed you, kissing you like he need it to breath and his hand lingering on your inner thigh.
He broke the kiss and dropped to his knees, his hands cupping your hips and pulling you to the edge of the counter as he looked at you
You glance nervously towards the blinds, which were down, the street was dark, all the signs were closed, and the lights were switched off.
“ Bo, you sure what if someone sees, I should lock the door?” you whispered you heart pounding “We can’t do this here the door is still unlocked
“I locked it darlin', the sign is closed.” He looked at the door, then back up at you, his eyes focused and pupils blown. “The only person I'm worried right now is about you, focus on me”
He kissed the inside of your thigh, you slowly leaned back on the counter, breath panting in anticipation
He watched you for a moment until his face drew closer to your wet core, the heat of his breath fanning was the last warning before you felt his tongue and lips on you.
Your mind was practically going blank, all the orders you had to do, the cupcakes, dissolved you’re your memory.
You were almost immediately overwhelmed. Bo was relentless, his touch his presence and found, his lips and tongue moving eloquently, he was worshipping you, healing your exhaustion.
“B-B-o” you whimper and your hands cling to his hair
“It’s ok baby, use me” he says
He ate like he was eating one of your baked goods. Well, technically he was eating one of your goods and one of his favorites at that, your pussy, his finger started rubbing your clit. This caused your back to arch off the counter.
You kept your hand tangled in Bo’s hair
“Oh- gosh, baby.”
“Please, baby.. You are doing so good”
“mmm…sshhiittt..”
You turned your head, closing your eyes and Bo pinched your thigh. “Eyes down here, Suga, keep em on me..watch me eat” he growled, pulling back from you “told you I was missin’ you, ain't no orders to be made around here, only you and your pleasure, let me worry about that”
You watched him
He dove back in, not missing a beat, he used his fingers and mouth now at that same time. You were in a daze, smellin your pies baking in the oven and feeling your legs shaking trying to pull away from his torturous mouth
“Don’t go runnin from me, just let go, im here, baby right here” his sultury words pouring out into your ears as he made full eye contact with you. The eye contact, the smells. They where sending you over the edge and you didn’t know how much more of it you could take.
Bo wrapped his arms tighter around your thighs making sure you weren't running away from his mouth and he watched your face contour
Bo watched her as if she was an angel from heaven, he did always say you tasted angelic, he saw your eyes starting to flutter and breath becoming more erratic.
He looked up at you soulfully, you, his wife, the one who worked too much and never really knew when to take a break, now coming down from all her stress.
“C’mon baby let go, no more worries right?”
You look at him nodding rapidly with tears filling your eyes “yes..no-no worries, thank you baby.”
“say it one more time fo me”
“no more worrying, I need you”
“mhm, im right here baby, im right here”
He let out a groan, the vibration adding another sensation to you, you are pulling his hair and clinging to the counter, you are frantically bucking into his mouth as fast as you could, not fast enough
“that’s it baby” he said
Bo held you like you were everything
You moaned, movements becoming more erratic as you cover your mouth as you look at him trying to lower your voice, its not like anyone could hear you but still, worrying about others. Bo saw and took your hand and intertwined it with his, he wanted to hear you
Your legs shaking against his head, quivering and unstable, your moans louder, tensions from your shoulders disappeared “Baby! Please i- I can’t, I’m gonna cum i-!” your eyes roll back
“Mhm, give it to me” he muttuered against your core never letting go until you made a mess over his face, you rode it out on his mouth, Bo licks his lips and fingers”
You panted as you came, taking your time to catch your breath. He released your clit from his mouth and kissed your thighs, slowly raising back to kiss you.
“You ok, honey?” he asked, looking at you making sure you are still with him
You nod “mhm, much better..thank you”
“I’d never get tired of my favorite smells, your cooking and baking and your pussy”
You couldn’t help but slap his chest, playfully chuckling a bit “you are too much”
“I like the taste of em too,” he says with a smirk and kisses your forehead
“oh yeah?” you ask with a teasing tone
Bo nods and walks to where there is a little bit of sweet potato filling in the bowl and grabs a spoon, tasting it, with a slight nod of approval of the taste. You watch him as you fix your dress
“Bo what are you-?“ before you could ask, he was in front of you, fingers finding your pussy again and pushing his finger in, collecting your juices, and bringing it to his mouth, causing you to gasp
He moans at the taste of you as he holds the spoon he tasted the sweet potato with and tasted you with his finger
Bo’s nodding as he looks you in your eyes, “I’m tellin’ you, baby, sugar ain't got nothing on you, you really are the sweetest thing I’ve ever tasted”
The exhaustion and stress you felt earlier is no longer so heavy, as you lean into your husband’s arms. Your husband chased away the stress from earlier. You smiled and pressed your lips onto his, tasting yourself a bit
You two were happy, the smell of you and the sweet potato pie filled the bakery, two of Bo’s absolute favorite things.
a/n & taglist
idk if y'all like Bo like that, and also lmk who wants to be added or removed from a taglist!!
@themindfulwriter16 Strangely, this was really difficult to do in my writing style. Sorry it’s SUPER short💔 I struggled.
Grace was curious about something. She had seen a few woman do a certain move before at events…and she was curious. So, she gathered her girls, Annie, Pearline, and Mary, and had a chat about it.
Bo wasn’t home, so she took full advantage of the opportunity to learn how to do it! They all helped her in not being so stiff with her movements. Pearline showed her how to move her hips. Annie and Mary mainly were just encouraging and hyping her up.
Eventually, she got the hang of it. But right at that moment, Bo returned from work and was met with the sight of his wife twerking. Along with the other women having fun and drinking. His eyes widened at it—quietly shut the door behind him and spoke up.
“Ahem. Grace, I ain’t interrupting somethin’, am I? Some sort of girls night?”
Grace was currently reading a book, out in the living room. Comfortably curled up in the corner of the couch, truly invested in what she was reading. Occasionally taking a sip of a glass of lemonade. Enjoying her peace…She figured Bo probably fell asleep early, she wouldn’t have blamed him if that was the case. That Mississippi sun can certainly drain a person, especially when they’re working hard in it.
She was perfectly consumed in her book, so Bo took advantage of it. He slowly walked out of the bedroom, trying to make as little noise as possible—Not even a single creak of the floorboard. He tiptoed over to the couch, standing right behind where she was sitting and—Hesitated.
She did look quite peaceful…and he’d hate to ruin it. But he had to admit that he was curious about what her reaction would be. So he held his breath for a moment and suddenly grabbed her shoulders.
“Whatcha doi—“ He was instantly met with a hard ass punch to his face and a scream from Grace. Quickly letting out a pained grunt and covering his sensitive nose. “(It’s just me here, Grace, damn!)”
“I don’t care if it’s just you here! You know better than to scare me like that!” Grace shouted, smacking his chest with the hard cover of her book as she stood up from the couch with a frustrated expression. Then she noticed the trickle of blood from his nose and let out a deep exhale. “(This is your fault, you know? You were bein’ stupid.)” Bo only hummed and nodded his head in agreement. Seriously regreting his choices now. Wishing he didn’t do it at all—but he had to admit to himself, her physical strength was hot.
“Damn…ya sure can put someone in their place, huh?” He wiped his nose and looked at the blood on his hand in subtle disgust. Even after wiping it away, he can feel there was still more blood running down his nose. Grace walked over to the kitchen to grab some paper towels to clean his nose. Helping him clean up his bloody nose—unfortunately, to no avail. “How badly does it hurt?” She questioned, cocking an eyebrow at him. “And ya better be honest.”
“Well, my nose can’t stop bleedin’ no matter how much cleanin’ we do. That must mean somethin’!” Despite just being punched in the face by his wife, he seemed pretty chill about it now. “But, uh…I’m sorry for scarin’ ya like that. I couldn’t help myself…but I definitely knew better than to mess with ya like that.” Grace raised an eyebrow at his apology and her expression softened—just a little. Letting out a small scoff before she spoke up. “(…I s’ppose I’m sorry too. I didn’t mean to hit ya like that but damn—you scared me real bad!)”
“(And did I still deserve it?)” Bo smirked and narrowed her eyes at her, leaning in closer to her face. “(Sure did.)” He seemed oddly satisfied with her response and closed the gap between their faces. Pressing his lips against hers for a few seconds. “(Mhm, better hope it ain’t broken.)”
