"Well maybe I'll just have to read it then!" Serenity smiled. "What's it about?"

“Yea definitely not going today. I really can’t deal with trust building today.” Serenity smiled.

“It’s alright, I’ll let you in on a secret, no one ever feels like trust building activities.” Making up two cups of tea, he handed one to Serenity, a gentle smile along with it. “What kept you up all night?”

"It's hard to build trust when you can't trust anyone." Serenity grinned. "Well... He was in my room last night. I haven't seen him in a couple nights but last night he came back and he was mad. I wasn't allowed to sleep."

“No.. I’ll just get up.” Serenity forced herself up off the bed and sat at the edge. “Don’t tell the nurses. Please?”

“Okay… but… what’s wrong?” she asked, scooting a little closer.

"I couldn't sleep last night... He was here. In this room again and I just couldn't sleep."

“I actually prefer all the pretty lights being up, I wish they would keep them up all year round. They make things not as dark..”

“Which is why they should just leave them up for a little while. I just like it when the lights reflect off of things. You don’t get the same effect with fluorescent lights.”

“Have you ever tried convincing them to leave some up in your room? You don’t look like the type to try to choke people with them, so you never know. They may actually let you.”

"They should!" Serenity laughed. "I can't have lights or anything in my room really. They say my "episodes" haven't gotten any better so I'm not allowed to have them. Oh well."

“I wish we could get out of here for waffles. I want them so bad right now, I miss my Nannies homemade ones! They were the best.” Serenity smiled. “Food actually sounds wonderful right now, let’s go eat!”

“I’d break out for some waffles, we’d get arrested, but they’re worth it. Man, grandma’s make the best food, hands down.”  Flynn chimed in, an easy smile playing on his lips. “The cafeteria’s not bad, come on, it’s not far from here.”

"Being arrested for waffles definitely sounds worth it." Serenity laughed. "Let's hope the food is good today I really want those waffles now."

“What kind of group activities? Do I have to go to them?” Serenity asked. “I don’t really feel like talking today. I just want some tea.”

“Trust building mostly, the kind where you go around in a circle and tell everyone your name, then you get paired up.” He offered a smile as he put the jug on, “But it’s okay if you don’t feel like going today.”

“I-” Luna started but quickly closed her mouth again. “Oh okay, but only five. I really need to make the beds in here.” She said as she crossed back over to the door, grabbing the fresh linens out of the laundry cart. She glanced back over at the girl. “Is everything okay?” She asked softly.

“Oh yes! Best waffles ever.” Serenity laughed. “My mom made them take me so that must be why.” She chuckled.

“Wish we could bust out of here and get some real food. I miss real food, not this shit they give us.” He chimed in, “Mom’s are great about it, my mom preferred french toast,  but my dad was a waffles man. Best you’d ever have, could go for some right now. Damn, I’m making myself hungrier.”
