Everything I’ve ever let go of has claw marks on it Hand burnt text on silk velvet 42″ x 24″ 2016
As of now telegram, Twitter, tumblr, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit and soon enough whatsapp are blocked in here; that means no social media whatsoever
The VPNs we use are failing one after the other; And the internet speed is gradually getting less and less and less
Once they cut us off the massacre will begin

my friend was like "what if you're unconcious in an emergency situation and they have to do an MRI and you can't tell them you have nipple piercings" and instead of the real answer I immediately thought "medical alert bracelet" like

Petition the FBI to add "forced to penetrate" to the definition of Rape.
This is in response to this case from June 2018: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2018/06/27/montana-woman-with-machete-hides-behind-ex-boyfriends-door-then-forces-sex-on-him-police-say/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.54112a7cbefe
The wording used “After the intercourse” and “An argument began as soon as the sex ended,” but never do they say rape.
Then this article about the same case: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/sex-boyfriend-machete-break-in-house-samantha-ray-mears-montana-a8427066.html
The wording used “woman allegedly forced her ex-boyfriend to have sex by threatening him with a machete” and “engaged in sexual intercourse” and “machete in her hand as she sat naked on the bed and tried to have sex again,” and again, never using the word “rape”.
The woman, the aggressor, was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, unlawful restraint, partner/family member assault, and 2 counts of criminal mischief… but not rape.
As a society, don’t we deem sex by coercion rape? Threatening someone with a machete for them to perform a sexual act is coercion, just like it is coercion when a male holds a weapon to a female when he forcibly penetrates her. Just because a man gets an erection, does not mean he is feeling aroused. It’s often a reaction to physical stimulation, similar to women: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1353113103001536
The FBI definition of rape, as of 2012, is as follows: “The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.” This seems to only apply to women when it comes to forced penetration, unless it’s done anally. Not even a women forcing a man’s penis in her mouth would be considered rape because his mouth is not being penetrated by a sexual organ.
This does not include men being forced to penetrate. The definition should be revised as follows:
The forced penetration, as well as the act of being forced to penetrate, no matter how slight, of the or in the vagina or anus with any body part or object without the consent of the victim; or the act of forced oral penetration by another person’s sexual organ, as well as the act of forcing another person’s sexual organs into one’s oral cavity without their consent.
important af.
It’s fucked up how we’re almost near the middle of 2019 and we still got to fight for this shitt.
Fucking finally.
how the fuck isn’t this already considered rape jesus christ
You: This generation wants to fuck vampires and shit. What happened to the time when vampires were scary?
Me, an intellectual (who wrote her BA Thesis about this very topic): The Vampire as a literary device literally developed out of east European folk stories as a way to explore anxieties and fears around sex. You’re supposed to want to fuck them, that’s the whole point!
How dare you post this and not link your thesis. I want to know more!
This is quite literally the explanation Emiel Regis gives in the Witcher books. About how the blood is connected to sex and about how being bitten by the vampire represents embracing sexuality. He talks about people fearing and looking down on sexuality and about how vampires are dark and easy outlet for that.
A figure repulsed by Christian imagery that operates only at night and bites on the necks of young women for the exchanges bodily fluids is an allegory of sex?
Then what are werewolves? Ancient Furries?
You inherent the curse of a werewolf from sleeping with a werewolf, that could be allegory for an STD, or STC (Sexually Transmitted Curse) as the case may be.
Or it might be a metaphor for rabies: human gets bitten by an animal, gets infected, starts acting feral.
There was a time when people weren’t so closeted about being interested in the whole “man as beast” thing
In my personal life,
The most Aries thing I’ve seen: Taking up fights for friends but always fighting for themselves alone. Greatest friend or worst enemy
The most Taurus thing I’ve seen: Outdoing everyone in a gift exchange, being unapologetically straightforward about not liking someone’s attitude (even though they have one themselves..)
The most Gemini thing I’ve seen: Jumping into new things suddenly because everything is regarded as a learning experience, you don’t learn if you don’t try
The most Cancer thing I’ve seen: Getting teary eyed or crying when someone else starts to cry but surprising everyone with a tough streak masked by a gentle demeanor.
The most Leo thing I’ve seen: Saying they’re not stooping to someone’s level because they have more dignity and pride than that
The most Virgo thing I’ve seen: “Are you eating?” “How have you been lately?” “Do you need anything?” “I’m worried about you.” ..Mom friend
The most Libra thing I’ve seen: Smooth talking their way out of a problem, giving advice but sometimes not what you want to hear because instead of taking your side they stay neutral and empathize with all perspectives
The most Scorpio thing I’ve seen: All or nothing when it comes to relationships. You’re either with them or you aren’t, they either keep you or drop you and they keep track of any slip ups
The most Sagittarius thing I’ve seen: Inappropriate humor at the wrong times, always asking questions, knows random facts about things that aren’t relevant in life but are interesting nonetheless
The most Capricorn thing I’ve seen: The voice of reason in a time of crisis, young on the outside but an air of melancholy about them as if significantly older and worn on the inside
The most Aquarius thing I’ve seen: Not very open with their personal plans in life so is always surprising everyone when making big life decisions because it’s seemingly sudden. Socially awkward but somehow people don’t mind and see it as a charming “quirk”
The most Pisces thing I’ve seen: Vanishing from the worldly dimension for a long period of time when they’re upset and merging back into reality when they feel better, but they don’t ever truly ‘feel better.’ Can seem out of place in social groups
holy shit. spot on.

God does not play dice with the universe.
No, by all means, go ahead and ask me again why I love Star Trek so much.
*points to this, glaring at J J Abrams and the dumb fuckers behind Discovery who seem to think Star Trek needs to be gritty space battles of bullshit*

You just don’t want them to make a liveable wage and have healthcare and be treated like proper human beings.
