Peter and Pepper have taken up the baking skill

Tony and Pepper have entered the science career

Bruce has entered the medical career

Loki lit the kitchen on fire but I didn’t realize for a while, so I had to redo the entire first floor but Cassie’s birth certificate was destroyed

Peter wants to kiss Shuri, but Shuri wants to go on a date with Harley

Pepper is pregnant with their fourth child and Rhodey has successfully moved into household 3

Peter had to go to the hospital but everything’s fine now

Bucky and Sam almost called off their engagement but once again, everything’s fine now

Morgan has decided to live her life in a bear costume and idk how long that’ll last so that’s kinda weird

The llama flu is still running rampant because people keep catching it and giving it back to each other so everyone is sneezing and coughing and feverish, making it hard to go to work, so we haven’t been making a lot of money

Those was a while back but I forgot to mention that Sam, Bucky, Maria and Carol have all joined the military career

Peter and Shuri are romantic interests, as are T'Challa and Natasha

“Come on,” Strange begins to open a portal, but all Bucky can see is darkness, a battlefield ahead. “we don’t have much time.” 

Bucky emerges through the portal along with everyone else, standing tall as he looks around at the sight before him. He tries to keep calm, seeing the remains of the compound, but you’re nowhere in sight. 

All he knows is that he’s been gone for a long time despite it feeling like five minutes since he saw you. Bucky can’t forget the pain in your expression, the gut-wrenching scream as he collapsed to the ground, turning to dust before your very eyes. 

“Now what?” Sam asks as he stands alongside Bucky who shrugs his shoulders. 

“Guess we got another fight to win.” Bucky states as he runs forward, straight toward the action.

It seemed so odd to me that Sam was comforting Bucky until I realized that the last time Bucky had seen Tony was back in Civil War when him and Steve left Tony in Siberia and now he’ll never get the chance to apologize or reconcile with Tony not just over the fight in the bunker but also for what happened with his parents. Because Steve got that chance, but Bucky didn’t. Now Bucky will never know for sure if Tony would have ever forgivin him and he has to live without that closure for the rest of his life.

BUT LIKE REAL QUICK.

Imagine if Steve asked Tony if he could ever forgive Bucky for the things he had no control over and he had done.

Tony thinks about it for a bit and says; “I think I can. After we kick this purple titans ass, I’ll talk with your friend.” 

But Bucky never gets that conversation. So he doesn’t know. 

After Steve comes back and passes the shield onto Sam, Bucky comes over and sits next to him. 

“So how was it boiling your food again?” 

Steve smiles and side eyes Bucky. He smiles as he glances down at the gold band on his ring finger. 

“Worth it.” 

Bucky smirks and they stay silent. Steve exhales, before looking at his friend. 

“You know I talked to Tony before all this.” 

Bucky doesn’t say anything, he listens, he is good at that. 

“Talked to him about you. I just had to ask. You know? There wasn’t a guarantee any of us were going to come out alive but I had to know just in case worst case scenario.” 

Bucky nods, and Steve shifts in his seat before looking at his friend. 

“He told me that he thought he could… Ya know? Told me he would talk to you after we won. Maybe, I don’t know, something could have come out of it.” 

Bucky rolls his lip in between his teeth. There is a lump in his throat and a slight burning in his eyes as he looks at his childhood friend. It’s enough for him to feel a weight lift off his heavy shoulders.

He takes Steves hand in his and smiles. His voice shakes but his smiles is brighter than anything Steve has seen in years.  

“Thank you.”
