Random thought!

This is based off of @beautifulbows924 's Tears Ricochet fanfic

So you now how Konshu is the protector or watcher of overnight travelers.

Well what is reader(doesn't matter which one

(Sorcerer,Stark or Spidey/spider)

Back to the thought.

So the thought is that what if Reader had a konshu necklace?You know how some people have like Hermes or Saint Christopher or another god of travel?

Reader has others(maybe reader or someone who raised them were superstitious or something or maybe it's just something to help ease the anxiety.

BUT the implications of reader who was a former avatar of Konshu BEFORE Mark,Steven and Jake but after Arthur Harrow.

And how they stopped being an avatar of Konshu is because maybe one of the gods claimed that Konshu appeared to be “Forming an improper relationship with an avatar”.(up to you if you want it to be true or not)

And the trial\meeting ends with Konshu only having till sunrise to say goodbye to his Avatar and when the sun rises, they don't remember their time with Konshu or Konshu.

BUT WAY DOWN THE LINE AFTER THE THREE AND Layla find out reader was the avatar of Konshu before them.

It's like "I wear the necklace of someone who other gods thought I was romantically entangled with and was the avatar of."

Please do not hate me for what I'm about to do

But I've been on a project hail mary kick(watched the movie idk how may times and in the middle of reading the book)

So what if reader was brought onto the hail mary project a few weeks or so after the events of moonknight?

And SOMEHOW reader finds a way back to earth and Bring both Rocky and Adrian along(maybe they got human avatars or a slell was used to turn them human or maybe their just eridians)

I don't think ANY of them would be pleased when finding out reader was forced into going to space ESPECIALLY Konshu(that's his favorite avatar)

Maybe reader had other gods/deitys/other such necklaces like their Konshu one in their bag in the hail mary?

I have this inkbox pen that lasts like a week or two when you use it. imagine simon letting you draw on his arm so for once he can have a mark that he chose done by someone who respects his autonomy. it would probably be plant filigree, maybe some stars around his wrist or shoulder.

What if Either

1.Reader had paint with their other stuff on the ship

OR

2.Eridians made paint safe for Simon and reader's skin.

And Simon trusts reader enough to paint on his arm.

Sure, reader would do other things but mainly do like flowers and plants.

This is for the Ranch au that I'm working on with @oddballwriter

More specifically the spider/spidey au

and I can't help the thought of thinking about reader having a hat (think applejack from mlp gen 4\friendship is magic) that was their uncle's and now reader wears it and hardly ever takes it off.

Like sure if it's needed to or something they will take it off but other than that they won't like their uncle and aunt are basically their parents in reader's eyes.

And Aunt May may still be kicking but it worries reader if something with happen like it did with uncle Ben or something.

And they do worry about Simon and Grace and this one of the main reasons why reader sleeps between the two more often. And I think alot of the thing's reader does might stim from that and once Simon and Ryland find out it makes SO MUCH MORE sense to them.

Especially when reader can hear their heart beats without laying against their chest.

I love the thought of reader listing to her aunt,Simon and Ryland's heart beats when their nerves are shot ESPECIALLY if one or all three of them was caught between a fight between reader and say like the lizard.

Now you bet that they are more than stocked up on medical seplies after Simon and Ryland find out reader's spider alter ego.

I've been thinking

So, I seen two starstruck headcanons...somewhere, I can't remember.(I wanna say tiktok) that lead me to think of these two ideas.

How I imagine the events of the fall guy and Project hail mary happening is that another part of the reason that Tom sabotaged Colt's fall is because from Tom's perspective Colt got in the way of him(Tom) and reader but it was actually because reader got recruited by Stratt for project hail mary.

And because of the project reader stops going to set. Tom assumes it's Colt's fault and like I said got in the way which is also another reason he sabotaged Colt's fall.

But it's not until later when the news comes on after the hail mary launches that BOTH Colt and Tom learn about what reader was doing and why they stopped coming to set.

And while Colt got depressed Tom got angry. He used his public image in his favor to turn the public against Stratt because both Colt and Tom both knew reader would never volunteer.

Now through......some turn of events the amount of time that past wasn't that long (Few months or so at best) reader returns and with 2 aliens tagging along.

Rocky and Reader have an animal pair bond between the two of them.

And like During that Scene where Colt was tied up, Tom starts ranting about reader. (You decide if this is before or after reader returns, I am going with after reader returns)

Colt:Dude move on!

Tom:WE WERE PERFECLTY FINE BEFORE YOU BUTTED IN!

Colt:They didn't even know YOU LIKED THEM.

Tom:YES THEY DID!

Colt:No, they didn't, you could've gotten down on one knee and they still wouldn't know, you idiot.

I seen some headcaons on Tom finding Grace's being mean to him(Or something like that) hot.

Which led me down the rabbit whole of Tom thinking reader's insults when their using their creative insults\other.

This thought crossed my mind a while ago

For the reader and Colt being twins thing.

Imagine if you will reader and Colt growing up on a ranch and thus saying the most out of pocket insults when their both pissed off.

And a lot of them making people doing double takes.

ESPECIALLY Tom Rydar.

Reader:The lord intended you to be a hunk of dirt but got his creations mixed up.

Colt:Agreed.

Tom:What the fuck?!

My original thought for this post

Is if the events of phm did happen than SOMEHOW

It didn't take as long as it does.

But what I want to focus on is Colt and Tom's perspective because imagine the person you thought you lost for forever and they come back......only to be like a bonded animal pair with a rock alien and their mate and vise versa...it would be VERY confusing and worried on what happened.

Edit:If we add Simon from iron lung into this it's a lot funnier because now not only are 2 rock aliens animal bonded pair to reader and visversa BUT now you have a partially mutated guy who also sees reader as an angel and is also animal bonded to the three of them and visversa.

Spider!reader and the colt twin au

So I've been in a rabbit hole of the Colt(fall guy) and Ryland Twin au. Mainly where Ryland is shipped with Tom Rydar

But with reader in place of Grace

How reade and Tom met is essentially Colt brought reader to a set of a movie that Tom was doing around the time that Colt started being Tom's stuntman.

And maybe around this same time on New years reader just says 'fudge it one time won't hurt' and has a one night stand with Tom.

But the next thing reader knows Tom won't leave them the fudge alone.

And it doesn't help that there are pictures of the two online and now reader's students are in the mix.

Now reader knew how Tom treated their older brother so they never really liked him after that but that didn't stop Tom from overhearing the fact that reader liked the first movie Tom was in thst didn't do well in theaters and maybe Tom says "He was gonna toss it out anyway"

And Colt just gives it to Reader because they were a bigger fan of the movie than he was

Now how rocky comes into play is that reader had to go off world for a bit and the next thing Colt and Tom or basically ANYBODY knows there are TWO four armed aliens following reader around.

I am still working on the farm au just have to work a few or so kinks out in it

So I recently fell down the Ryland Grace x Tom Rydar rabbit hole and now ALL I can think of is just the twin au but with Spidey!reader and Colt being the twins.

How they met is essentially Colt brought reader to a set that Tom was doing around the time that Colt started being Tom's stuntman.

And maybe around this same time on New years reader just says 'fudge it one time won't hurt' and has a one night stand with Tom

BUT THE NEXT THING READER KNOWS

Tom won't leave them The fudge alone.

How for Rocky AND Adrian come into this is basically kept Canon but SOMEHOW reader was wrong about the time it took(weirder things has happened)

Both Adrian and Rocky would like to see earth for themselves, and they do get the chance to when for whatever reason (Maybe Eridian scientists came up with a way to make them human avatars, I've seen this going around)

But since Rocky and Adrian can't survive in the same atmosphere as Humans Zatana decides to use some of her magic and the next thing reader knows BOTH euridians are taller than them.

I am still working on the farm au but I have to work a few things out and this is sharing space in my brain with the farm au.

Human(oid) rocky and Adriean

So I did a thing on the shrapnel necklace

But now I'm thinking of there being a magic mishap with Adrian and Rocky where they either look fully human OR has four arms.

How reader found out about this is after coming back from patrol and seeing what appears to be huaman(oid) Rocky and Adrian.

While Adrian and Rocky are celebrating the fact that they can finally actually touch reader. Reader on the other hand is panicking because Eridians CAN'T survive in the same environment as humans can and they're panicking because they may lose 2 of the (insert number) people\Eridians they care about.

And once it's all cleared up and it's clear that Adrian and Rocky are fine reader is really glad they're okay.

I love the thought of Adrian and Rocky now being able to lift reader away from what their working on and making them get some sleep.

Gabit and Spider!reader

I had a random thought about Spider reader and Gambit.

And I love the thought that Gambit would be just as down bad as Spider!reader who looks like this

Just as he would be for Rouge or regular spider!reader.

Gambit is 6'1 or 6'2

Like just imagine Gambit being carried around by this version of Spider!reader and ABSOLUTY loving it.

I did a Starlord!reader a year or so ago and thanks to Iron lung and Protect hail marry it's brought back

BUT this time it's just Quill!reader like imagine after Adam joined Quill!reader decided to check off some items they had on their bucket list(though I love the thought of the bucket list being Yondu's and Quill!reader claiming them and Yondu had the same ideas.)

AND that brings them to Simon and Grace though Quill!reader finds Simon before Meeting Grace.

Skip to a certain time and the other guardians decide to meet up with Quill!reader only to find out that they're will someone who was known as the butcher and a golden retriever in human form.

I love the thought of Drax stepping up for where Yondu would be the protective parent thing when meeting their kid's partner.

Drax talks to Simon while Kraglin steps up as the protective sibling and talks to Grace.

Though it's a WHOLE other ordeal when Simon and Ryland learned that Starlord!reader's dad was a god like figure and starlord!reader gave it all up.

Random thought for the farm au

would love to hear your thoughts on this @oddballwriter

I see reader having a friend that they grew up with that's like princess and the frog Charlotte, but I love the thought of said friend teasing(playfully) on getting both Simon and Rylan.

(I think) I mentioned the thought of reader being the one Ryland called "A waste of carbon"....so yeah it took a while for the friend to warm up to Ryland.

But now their chill with eachother.

And said friend does does try to get reader to spend time away from the farm and relax(with aunt may's permission)

Both before and after Simon joins though it was alot more before Simon came along because of reader was wearing themselves out with making up for having one less person to work on the ranch.

I’m thinking about househusband Grace in the farm au again… I am unfortunately not immune to the allure of a househusband let alone Grace being said househusband.

I also can’t stop thinking about ranch/farmhand Simon. He’s like “fuck you” levels of strong and he’s only got one arm. It’s like that one scene all the damn time.

I've seen this fun headcanon where in Project Hail Mary and Iron lung crossovers with Bloodymary ship that SImon shows\wears the harness to tease Simon and which lead me to create a snowball chain event for the Ranch au.

Aunt May is away for the week for something to do with Feast

So Simon decides to tease both reader and Ryland with the harness which causes Ryland to stay near the window and outside ALOT more.

So reader decides to say Fudge you and decides it's gotten way too hot to keep their shirt on and.....well Ryland's time outside and at the window is extended more or makes up some excuse to come outside.

Meanwhile Simon is trying his HARDEST to not get distracted.
