murray is literally right imo bolaire will say 'i'm not dismissing things' while dismissing things. that's like one of his top three hobbies
people will act like a character being a little bit of a cunt sometimes is a flaw and not a positive trait but they are wrong
free the nipple has to make a resurgence for a number of reasons but bro look at our upcoming eternity of wet bulb temps youre smoking straight up cock if you think im keeping a shirt on when it hits 105° in new england
everyone tits out with a parasol is such a beautiful world to imagine that the fact it doesnt currently exist fills me with equal parts fire and misery
The bracers make the body of its wearer strong as oak and birch so I visualize that skin near bracers becomes bark👀
Yeah, it's time to get this post out again
occtis and julien will out loud confirm 'we don't care about each other' and then proceed to care about each other's survival. this too is the seekers bond.
I think the core of my issue around why Bolaire's anger feels wrong and his statements about Thjazi feel petulant is that Talisen wants Bolaire to be right more than he will allow Bolaire to feel and show fear.
Its a love hate relationship with Julien and his shadow
Critical Role Campaign 4: Trick of the Light
Luis is so careful about his words that I think him saying that no one at the table pronouncing the name right absolutely includes the flashbacks to his younger self from Brennan.
Which leads me to think that Azune was going by a shorter name or a middle name or a public name as far back as him joining the Rebellion. Perhaps he introduced himself by it purposefully.
He's already given his innocence, his job, his life to this world and the causes he fights for. Perhaps his name, in the language of his people, is something he has guarded so that he can have something to himself.
I am entranced by Vaelus and Azune's dynamic in this last episode. Azune lighting up talking about dragon's being mythical. Vaelus asking about the language of his people.
I hope that later in the game perhaps when they both are at the same table, Vaelus asks to learn his language. Something about an immortal elven warrior who would remember the language of his people even if Azune dies.
Despite being so angry about Thjazi keeping important information from everyone (even though Thjazi wasn't even going to get them involved), Bolaire just...didn't even tell the party about what to expect from Termina. Once again, he has the most context about Termina (on purpose, since he's been hiding information in the city about the Panto masks), but his worry is about him leaving.
It frustrates me that he won't give context on anything Termina said or did, or why she's trying to kill him at all. As far as we know, unlike the Tachonis, the Cormoray or at least powerful representatives are still in the city and will be making moves. He seemed more invested in divvying up the soul shear materials than trying to help the people he cares about in the city.
I'm quite interested in seeing if there are orc or half-orcs in the Creed. If I recall, other than the demons, everyone else we've seen in the creed have been distinctly human.
The population of the city is generally fairly diverse, but it seems pointed that the people in power are human, and the people drawn to those institutions are also humans.
Even the inclusion of Einfasen specifically focusing on Azune, a human-looking man, to infiltrate the Creed is telling in its own right.
River Vrosh Dragon, first dragon to awaken in Aramán in living memory: "Hey, kid, you need help with that? No worries" [INSERT SPIRIT BRIDGE MIRACLE]
Azune: "Wow! I thought you guys were only a story! What an amazing discovery and potential ally we have now--"
River Vrosh Dragon, immediately returning to his nap: zzzzz
this was so hot holy shit thaisha if you need another baby daddy i'm available day and night
vaelus saying "i haven't seen a dragon in quite some time" and azune's face absolutely lighting up like a little kid saying "i didn't think they were real!" is the cutest thing i've ever seen in my life
