Maki Sonomura and Fates
So I came up with this while trying to figure out why Maki’s Personas are Maso and Verdandi. I found this post by @artemis-maia that mentions the connection she has to Maso/Mazu.
But why Verdandi? Also Urd and Skuld are exclusive to her as well, returning Urd gives you the Totem needed to fuse Skuld who’s basically her third tier Persona. (and strongest Priestess Persona in the game)

Is what she says to Kandori in the arranged version of Deva Yuga. The real Maki has given up on her life.
Wishing Ideal Maki was born instead of her. A Norn is said to visit a newborn child to determine their path in life. With Ideal Maki she represents that ideal past, present and future that Maki wants. But also Maki and these Personas are of the Priestess Arcana, which can mean passiveness, helpless and out of control of your life. Maki was designed to be like a doll and these Personas being Priestess could also represent her feeling that her fate is out of her control, like a puppet.
The Norns and the Priestess can also be seen as guides. After she faced her inner feelings, she went on to help others by becoming a psychiatrist.

Eternal August Day 12: Sumaru Day! @p2august @tatsuyodragneel
Sumaru Cities location revealed!
On page 87 of the Persona Club II: Innocent Sin World there is a map of Japan with a very vague placement for Sumaru.
Imho this is way too West to be where Yokohama is, which Sumaru is based on. It looks more closer to around the Shizuoka Prefecture area.
It wouldn’t be the first time the series didn’t place the city in the exact location of it’s real world counterpart. In P3 Iwatodai City/Tatsumi Port Island have landmarks based on Tokyo but it’s obviously not in the exact spot as Tokyo. In Devil Summoner Hirasaki is named after Kawasaki and Hirasuka (cities on 2 opposite sides of Yokohama) but its shaped more like Tokyo, and for the same reason it can’t be in the place of Tokyo.
I think they gave it a vague location somewhat close to Yokohama but also clearly not on top of it, so not to wright off the location just in case it could be used in the future. (it is a major city after all) This also means when you go to Yokohama China Town in P5 you’re NOT going to Sumaru. But at least we know a better general area for where it’s located now!
Also fun fact the next page reveals Sumaru’s zip code is 666-6666!
