basically you cannot convince me thomas didnt have a crush on newt.

i have a genuine problem with projecting on my favs. newt maze runner is literally me irl. in fact he has blue eyes in my head. and he studies english language and literature for teaching. and he works in a bakery yeah. yeah im like if newt was trans basically.

Teresa definitely smells like dentists office from constant sanitisation while working in lab

back when i was still studying toxicology i would get told that there was a faint chemical smell lingering around me a lot because i spent a ton of time just sitting in a building with labs. like not even directly in the labs the smell of chemicals just pervaded and we all smelled a little bit chemically all the time

all that goes to say that Yes. Yes she would. i can confirm because i too used to smell like the dentists office all the time.

it was a lot more boring than youd think. but also i think thats bc i didnt do specifically toxicology, i did clinical and toxicological analysis, which is a fancy way saying i did a whole lot of bullshit involving inorganic, general and analytical chemistry. toxicology was like. one of nine subjects and most of them had next to nothing to do with toxicology…

also, toxicology itself isnt as cool as it sounds :( kind of obvious, but it is a LOTTTT more about understanding the compound rather than its effects (because, obviously, you cant understand its effects if you dont understand the compound itself). so it was just a lot of basic chemistry
