Without hesitation, Nate leaned in and kissed Hugh’s neck. He gave it a quick nip and tug before pulling away, just to drive him crazy.

Absol would be the first to approach. With the light beneath him, it gave the pokemon a more menacing appearance, much like that of the rumors surrounding the pokemon’s species. He frowned deeply into the light.

Calme followed towards the end of the little speech, mildly amused to have learned that this was all just a hoax for a boy about his age to be looking for a friend. Oh, and yes, the very fact he seemed to believe that Calme was a ghost. It’s not as thought he wore anything particularly ghoulish, not that he’d thought so anyways.

“Well, you’ve certainly put me out of a job.” He remarked, not bothering to explain how he wasn’t a ghost. His pokemon, if not his full appearance shown closer to the light, should be enough in his opinion. “My name is Calme.” 

Nate stared down at the upcoming Pokemon. It made him nervous and rather regretful at first. Few things mean you’ve fucked up like seeing an Absol pursue you after you summoned a spirit. As he turned back toward the so far faceless trainer, he began to wonder if ghost friend was really a demon not-so-friend.

Fortunately and unfortunately, the phantom revealed itself. Seeing the form, it was very clearly not a demon. That said, it was definitely familiar. Nate didn’t need to hear the name to know who this was. “Wait. Calme? You’re ghost friend? I didn’t even know you died.”

Suddenly saddened, Nate approached the other and began to examine him. As he circled around, it was clear that they had aged together, so his death had to be recent. He wasn’t see through which was a little weird, but it wasn’t like his ghost ritual could summon a real person. He’d need.... what would he need to manifest Calme? Probably a master ball, new clothes, a fancy hairbrush... a recently defeated trainer and.... chocolate. Nate didn’t know if Calme even liked chocolate, but that would definitely summon Nate.

With a small sigh, he let his eyes look back up to Calme’s. “I’m sorry, Calme. Are you answering my call as my ghost friend? Am I to take vengeance upon someone or clean up your unfinished business? I can help you get to rest.”

            OH!    OH, wow… That’s a lot.  Okay! Time to grab Nate’s hands and just – Look him in the eyes.

      “Do whatever you want, I’ll be happy either way cause we’re together but that doesn’t change just how much it means to me when you do anything for me. You agree to have sex with me whenever you’re ready – I’m in no rush. A good step to take is to talk to me about it so we can set some boundaries if needed and the like. Yes, you have been a VERY good boyfriend and you don’t need to do anything to be a ‘better’ one because you’re perfect just the way you are.”

                    And that’s where he pauses and his whole face lights up red.

      “I love you too. More than you’ll ever know. You’re VERY attractive to me and I could go on a tangent as to why you are. Wait what – Wh-what cute look?” Wow could his face get any redder? “Yes I do check out your ass when you’r not looking and I would say I’m sorry but I’m not. And we’ll both make the best of the time we have together… Don’t worry.”

“I have a feeling you just answered every question I asked. Your memory is better than mine,” Nate stated simply as he looked back at him “Well, I guess that does answer some of those questions.”

“Okay. What do I do for your birthday next time, since we’re together? When should I finally agree to have sex with you? What kind of steps do I take before that? Have I been a good boyfriend?
